Attention!!!!! Anybody looking to get into surfing or if you are a long time surfer I wouldn t recommend anybody else than oceans immediately when you walk in a woman named Clara and her friendly staffwill assist you with your board buying process and make you feel comfortable while you re doing it!!! very affordable boards very pleased with my experience

Ocean Surf Shop is nothing short of spectacular. The staff are incredibly kind, outgoing, and are always very willing and happy to interact with you, answering whatever questions you may have. They don t relegate themselves to staying behind the counter and I can always tell they very genuinely care.I bought my Gary Wilson longboard from them, and in the entire process from initial browsing and selection to even include post-sale support they were absolutely phenomenal. Every step of the way. They educated me and helped me make an informed decision that led to buying a board that I love taking to the water every weekend.I ve honestly never had an experience at Ocean Surf Shop that didn t meet or exceed the standards they ve already set in my mind.I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you!

Purchased a Ben Gravy surf board there , enjoyed talking to and meeting Jeff great guy very knowledgeable about surf boards , real happy with my board , in love with surfing can t get enough of it !

I stopped here while visiting last week. An item I purchased somehow didn't make it in the bag, and I didn't realize until they were closed, and we had to leave town the following morning before they opened. I called up the next day, and they apologized and offered to ship it to me. Great service, right?? It didn't end there! Not only did they ship it to me, but they included a free hat with a handwritten note! Thank you so much guys! Can't wait to come again next time I'm in town! Y'all are awesome, and customer service is second to none!!

I was recommended by a local friend to go here for any surfing needs. After my experience, I will be saying the same. The crew that helped me out went above and beyond my expectations of help and information. I moved here a year ago, got surf lessons and wanted to buy a board. They walked me thru maintenance, storage and transport. Thanks for all the help! I ll be back :)

Awesome people here! Great boards and gear as well. Jeff was very helpful and full of knowledge.My wife worked with Gary to find a new surfboard for the waves at IOP on the days we want to catch waves closer to the house. This will be our new go to whenever we're at Folly and need something surf related.Thanks again to everyone who helped us last weekend!- Dave and CJ

Got a Bustin longboard from here today! I'm sorry I didn't get the guy's name but he was super helpful, knowledgeable, experienced and accommodating. Even pulled up websites for me to look at other boards if I wanted to order one. Very happy with my purchase and the service!

Ocean is the absolute BEST surf shop on Folly! Chad & Bates as well as the whole crew offer professional advice and keen insights to make your surfing experience the best. Their merchandise is top quality at reasonable prices. If they don't have what you need in stock, they will get it ASAP. Make it your First & Last stop for all your surfing needs on Folly!!

Awesome shop. Great collection of boards, especially some kickass Gary Wilsons. Bates was manning the shop when I stopped in, and was super helpful. Can't wait to get back to Ocean Surf next time I'm in SC.

Went above and beyond. I got there a bit late for the modified hours but they still where able to help me out and allowed me to pick up my board. And the repairs are solid

I love going into ocean surf shop!! I have been going here for years. The staff is top notch and will always do whatever they can to help out and very knowledgeable. I always get my boards and anything else that I need from here. EPIC place. Tyler

Walked into the shop today as a first time surfer with a new board...chad (the minister of stoke) couldnt have been more helpful, he set me up with fins, a leash, and a traction pad...he helped me put everything on my board and gave me plenty of tips....once i got out on the water i had a guy named kevin giving me some surfing tips and turns out he also works at ocean surf shop.....both awesome very helpful guys!

They carry Sun Bum Signature and some great looking sticks (surfboards), so that makes them a spectacular establishment in my book!

These guys are knowledgeable, friendly and have everything you need for surfing or SUP. The store has a great selection of gear and clothing. They do rentals (even wetsuits) and repairs as well!

Staff is so snobby never offered help, didn't make eye contact or say a word during check-out! Been to many beach surf shops all over North America and the Islands, never had such horrible service!
