Friday Oct 27 2023, We took off from mid NC to Huger SC to pick up an old car. On the south side of Florence SC we noticed smoke coming out from under the front of truck. We figured out it was the passenger front brake failing. We worked our way back up the road to Lee Tire and Auto.The owner came out, listened to our tale and said it would be about 45 minutes before he could check it out. Within a couple of hours, he had diagnosed, picked up parts, fixed it and test drove it. The cost was not near as much as we expected.They were all very informative to us. We were not regulars and we may never need them again. We were at their mercy so to speak.Therefore we highly recommend them for honesty, integrity, knowledge and kindness. We would definitely use them if we lived in the area.Thank you, Karen and Clark

ABSOLUTELY LOVE MR. JOHN LEE AND HIS GUYS AT THIS SHOP! I'll just say that he's the ONLY local shop that I'll take my Jeep. They do great work, are very reasonably priced, and go above & beyond to answer any questions/ fix anything that's wrong with your vehicle as long as they're able to do it in the shop. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this shop, especially if you're a Jeep owner!

John Lee operates a very good auto repair business. He was recommended to me by a good friend who has gone to Lee Auto throughout his life and his brother has as well. John s mechanic solved the serpentine belt/alternator alignment issue on my son s truck that 3 prior mechanics were unable to accomplish.

John Lee is the best tire professional ever! Known him when he worked for a company in Florence. When he opened his business my husband and I were ecstatic. Honest and best price around! Thank you John Lee and staff for being the BEST!

John installed a 4 inch lift (leaf springs, shocks and brake lines) on my 1982 Jeep Scrambler. His crew did a great job and even worked around a few things I needed. Will definitely use them again. Excellent work.

After dealing with John at Lee's Tire & Auto several times-with different vehicles-I have been compelled to write my first review on a business in Florence. I am very impressed with the customer service I receive when I leave my car to be fixed. John communicates great with the customers and has the most efficient employees that I have ever encountered. They make the repairs to my car in a fraction of the time AND a fraction of the price quoted by other businesses. I would recommend them to anyone who needs any repairs on their vehicle. AWESOME BUSINESS!

Lee's could provide the best service with best price on TPMS!I worried about for my Tire Pressure Monitor Sensor (TPMS) for a long time since the TPMS signal began to flash on the panel. I went to two auto stores and their quotation were unreasonable. I could buy four TPMS from Autozone with only $55, but it is still difficult for me to DIY, to pull the tires off the wheel rims to replace TPMS. Later I searched online for local TPMS service and it poped up Lee's Tire & Auto together with their professinal introduction to TPMS, I called them and got the reasonable price. They are prefessional on TPMS! They replace all 4 TPMS in about one hour. They also provided 2 year garantee on their service. i strongly recommend this store.

Did a lot of calling around for pricing. This place had the best prices. Got the job done & was honest. Theres a shop 5 miles from me but Id rather drive 10 miles to go here for the service & reasonable prices. My go to auto shop from now on. Thanks

Our van unexpectedly broke down in the middle of a road trip, and these angels not only correctly diagnosed our problem based on the issues we described over the phone, but fit us in same-day within a few short hours and replaced our faulty tire. They saved our vacation (and sanity!) with a smile and genuine southern hospitality. And their prices were incredibly reasonable! We would give them 100 stars if we could! I ve known the Lee s for well over a decade, awesome mechanics and even better people. Can t beat their prices or service. Thanks to Lee and his staff, took my car in for some A/C repairs. Lee's team did and awesome job. Really great price I'm happy because the wife's happy. Would recommend Lee to others as well. Amazing customer service! Most of the mechanic shops here & in surrounding areas tend to jack prices up, this shop does just the opposite. They have great cost, do amazing work and again have great customer service. I would 100% recommend them to anyone! Not to mention they were able to fix my car by the next day!! I came in very late notice, needing my car fixed by that weekend for a wedding in another state, I asked & they delivered. I have had no issues with my car since! We have known John since he worked at another establishment and he is the only mechanic my wife would trust. Had some issues with my Jeep and death wobble. John s shop did a lot of work for a super fair price. He called me a few days after the service to check if everything was okay. Who does that now a days! It s the only place I trust to do it right. I ve taken both my Jeep and my Explorer in for general maintenance as well as exhaust issues, tires, brakes and more. Always great friendly fast service at a reasonable price. The only place I ve ever taken my vehicles that I felt like they really cared! Will never use anyone else. Took my Jeep to them because it was shaking bad. I was so impressed with how they kept me updated and even messaged me a few days after to make sure everything was still good with it. They were able to change my tires to run flat tires for an affordable price. The first time I went they had accidentally ordered the wrong size but John assured us that he had ordered to correct ones and would contact me asap. Three days later he told me to come on in and I was able to get my tires changed in about an hour. Very clean waiting area with a room for kids. Very kind employees and wonderful customer service. I plan to go there again for anything else on my car.Service: Tires

My wife s car had a tire that wouldn t hold air. I needed a new set of tires and my son recommended John at Lee s Tire. John didn t pressure me into buying anything, he tried to help me last a little longer with our old set. He offered me a quote on a new set and said that he would like for us to purchase from him when we were ready. I went back and purchased a new set from him and was pleased with the service and the price. I highly recommend letting them help you with your future tire and auto needs. I was searching for larger tires for my truck. These guys were very helpful through out the entire process and helped me make a great decision. They installed a leveling kit, aligned my truck and installed the new tires. It s odd to say that you had a great experience at a tire shop but I can tell you I did. These guys are awesome!! I've only used this shop once. I'll definitely use them again. I dropped my truck off to have a waterpump installed. It was ready in less the 4 hors ... I can't imagine the service is always that fast but that was impressive. Got my truck back and it's cooling fine now. I'm very happy with this shop and would recommend them to anyone who needs car work done.Service: Engine repair

They were so nice and helpful everytime I called and didn t get bothered by how much I called either. My car is working great since they fixed it and they didn t charge anything to look at it either! It was a lot cheaper than I thought it was going to cost being my first time taking my car to be looked at by someone. Totally recommend them! I brought my 2005 Toyota Corolla in for new tires upon the recommendation of a friend. They quoted me a very reasonable price, and suggested a suitable brand for my driving needs. I brought in the car, and it was ready in a few hours. John was very professional and helpful, and the location was convenient as well. My warranty company had them on the list as service providers. They follow up with details, and found the problem, advised me and had my car back to me in no time. Best part of it all, is that after I got my car back, they did a follow up call and text message to check to make sure everything was ok.
