I dropped my Nissan Titan off in December. It was driving and shifting rough. Well I didn t know it was going be one of those impossible problems to find. A short took out multiple parts in transmission, bent axle shaft, transmission fluid and a new battery. All said I am so happy cause the truck runs like new with 43k being an 07. I am happy with the through job that Dun-rite did with my Nissan Titan. I will keep them first on the list if I need repairs again. The truck is so enjoyable to drive again, and my saved me having to buy another one. So thank you

Available and accurate in their diagnosis. Helped out big time for out-of-town travelers. They gave good advice on the wheel bearing issue and were upfront with expediting our fix with another shop when their hours couldn't match up with ours. Selfless to the core and made us feel secure and right at home. The refreshments were helpful and the Bible in the shelf to help think through life decisions. Highly recommend, thanks folks!

Had a torque converter issue in my truck that had been fixed 4 times and still never ran right. When looking for a transmission shop to work on my truck, no shop would touch it because it was an 8 speed. Dunrite was able to easily diagnose the issue and fix it! My truck runs and shifts better now than it did 100k miles ago when I bought it! By far the most thorough vehicle inspection I ve ever received with explanations and pictures to go with it. The customer service was great and they were very communicative through the process. Will not let anybody else work on my truck!

They were amazing!! So friendly and helpful! They got my van running just in time for our family to be able to take a long trip! They even checked in to make sure everything was running smoothly! They took off any added stress by being so thorough, confident, and detailed in getting our vehicle running great again and it did not break the bank! Thank you for all you did! Broke down on I95 a bit north of Florence, a 100 miles from home. Called AAA and they assigned Dun-Rite for the tow and said they were a AAA service center so I had them tow it there. Dropped the car off on Easter Sunday and had to get our daughter-in-law to drive down and pick us up.Jessica, who runs the front desk was absolutely amazing through the whole process, especially since we were doing everything remotely. She kept me informed and they had my issue diagnosed by mid-morning on Monday and completely fixed by end of day. Had to let it sit there until today when I could make the trip back to pick it up. When I got there all the bays were full and the lot was way fuller than it was on Easter Sunday!Check out was great and the car made it home without issue. I could not be any more satisfied with the towing, the work and the communication from Jessica.If you are ever near Florence, SC and are having car trouble give Dun-Rite a call, I think you will be very pleased!

On the 22nd of January, I experienced car trouble just outside Florence, SC. Since I'm a AAA member I mad a call and a tow truck picked me up and took me to Dun-rite. The folks there were friendly and very helpful. Dun-rite spent a couple of hours with my vehicle, but could not duplicate the issue. They did, however, pull the codes and recommended I take my vehicle to Toyota to have the plugs changed, believing that was where the problem was. They sent me on my way and did not charge me since they could find no real issues. I say again despite spending more than two hours testing and trouble shooting, they did not charge me for the visit.The ride continued to Greenville with no further issues. I took the vehicle to Toyota the next day and they ran a diagnostic and came o the very same conclusion Dun-Rite did.The folks at Dun-Rite did a great job running down the base issue and were spot on with their diagnosis. Should I ever need car service in Florence again, I will surely call these folks!!Tom McCabeNew Bern, NC

They were very nice but i was a little unsatisfied with my service i paid $150 for a diagnostic of my car so i could figure out exactly what was wrong with it, i was told that on top of the $150 id need to pay an additional $1000 to figure out what was wrong with the car without paying against. I was just unhappy i paid that much for a diagnostic to figure out the problem, and they couldn t even give me an idea of what was wrong with the car. I feel like i paid them for nothing and that s frustrating. The staff was very nice. But i still Wouldn t recommend going here if you need to get your car actually checked and fixed up.

Honest people and great friendly service. They diagnose and repair your vehicle. They have a very comfortable waiting area, but if you cannot wait and do not have any other transportation, they will get you to where you need to be (within reason). I seriously doubt that I will ever use any other vehicle repair shop.

First and foremost I thank God for him directing me to this place. I can say I've been treated with the upmost respect. From the jump Marty has been upfront with me. I had Transmission problems and Dunrite Transmissions Stood behind there work all the way. I also had A.C work done there and I must say I'm a happy camper.

I cannot say enough good things about Dun-Rite automotive. I m from New York and broke down on I 95 but made it to an exit. The tow truck driver recommended their shop to Diagnose my problems with the van. They got me right in to look at the van.From the tow truck driver, to check in, to dealing with the managers, Was awesome!! They went above and beyond to help me. I had a blown engine. I needed to get to Florida. They did everything they could do to help me. Even sat in the waiting room and made phone calls to try to get a rental truck to tow my truck to Florida. Even the bill was minimal compared to what he could have charged me and especially for me being stranded and from out of state. These guys are awesome!!! They treated me like a regular, I felt like i have know them my whole life. They really care about their costumers. Not just their money!I m am truly grateful.Thank You. Automotive AC System Diagnostic & Repair - Great customer service. Very friendly staff. Marty did an outstanding job of listening and communicating the details of what needed to be done to repair the AC system in a clear, succinct manner. He did not proceed with repairs until he contacted me to communicate the details and exact cost of the repairs. Jacob (technician/mechanic) did an outstanding job of diagnosing, troubleshooting, and ultimately repairing the AC system to our satisfaction. Upon request, Marty showed me the defective AC parts and explained how those defective parts caused the system to malfunction. I have already shared my positive experiences with others and have recommended Dun-Rite for any repairs they would like diagnosed. It's great to do business with an automotive business that earns your trust and does things the right way!

My husband told them he needed a radiator flush. He knew he needed a radiator flush. They insisted on doing a diagnostic before doing it and then after doing the diagnostic told us they didn't have the tools to do the radiator flush and charged us $140 for the diagnostic. We couldn't refuse to pay for the service we didn't need because they had our car. If they didn't have the tools to do a radiator flush in the first place why insist we need a diagnostic with you? Why not be honest?A diagnostic could have been done by someone with the tools to do what was requested. They wasted a full day because no one called to tell us the car was done with the diagnostic. My husband had to call them and then they were about to close. And it feels like we were robbed because we agreed to the diagnostic under the implied agreement that after checking our car they'd do the radiator flush requested. It feels like a lie of omission by saying a diagnostic was needed but not admitting they didn't have the tools to do the requested service at all.

Absolutely amazing shop. I had my truck breakdown on a trip from AZ to VA and they not only towed my truck quicker than AAA, but they also went above and beyond in helping me source parts and fix my truck to get back on the road. Thank you to everyone there!

This is a amazing shop. I am from Atlanta GA and my lug nuts broke and my wheel was hanging off I want to 10 different shops to get it fixed and no body could do the job until next week or could not do it at all. But let me tell you I want to DUNRITE and told them I was from out of town Marty and his crew got me back on the road less the a hour and it was dunrite . Thank you so much Marty and crew and if anyone needs work done this is the place....

Was traveling for business on 1-95 and had engine problems.Inquired about getting service at several places before I lucked upon Dun-Rite. The squeezed my repair in on short-notice.The staff was extraordinarily friendly and accommodating. They even went the extra mile and drove me to the hotel room!I wish Dun-Rite was located in my city.I trust them and they acted like true professionals.Hand down one of the best experiences I've ever had at an auto repair service.*****5 STARS!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

Charged us for diagnostics & said radiator was the ONLY problem so changed it supposedly but they messed up the drive table and argued about who damaged it even though I noticed it 3 miles down the road and brought it back (mask were covering it). After driving 30 miles at 55 mph (we usually drive locally) the same problem occurred that was according to them the radiator originally. Now they want us to pay an additional diagnostic at $150 because they either didn t do one to start with or aren t being honest. The owner was rude to my husband insinuating he was lying. My husband is the most honest person I ve ever met, to a fault. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!

I ve used Dun-Rite many times. Why, because I choose to but more so because the staff is very knowledgeable and competent. I had a transmission in an old jeep that needed a rebuild ( 4 years ago ). Never had a problem since and don t expect any. The team there has also worked on several other vehicles for me over the years. I go back because I trust them. These folks are super nice and know their business. I was traveling I-20 near I-95 when my Acura's transmission began downshifting erratically. I stopped in Florence and Dun Rite worked me right in. After running tests they could find nothing wrong, said I should continue my trip and would not accept my offer to pay with "We're here to help." We were traveling in SC and our car would not start. Called AAA and Buddy picked us up and took us to Dunrite automotive and transmission. They were wonderful. Replaced the starter right away. They were so nice to us as we waited. Friendly, professional ,did great work and are just nice folks. Brought my car in for electrical work. They were doing some kind of digging in the holding lot with a pile of gravel. When i came to pick up my car it was obvious something chucked mud and gravel onto my car. It had mud near the wheels and windshield. It looks like there was an attempt to clean it up but i could see tell tale signs of mud where the wipers stopped and on the wipers themselves. After I washed the windshield I discovered it had two chips. Zero respect for the vehicle. They weren't even honest enough to properly clean it let alone notify me and attempt to fix it with windshield epoxy.*reply edit:Yes there was already damage to my car. The flippant attitude "We feel like we worked harder than usual, besides your car was already damaged" Then it's never going to be in decent shape if every mechanic adopts that attitude and damages something else.

This place was a life saver for my family and I. We were traveling and all of a sudden the Battery Saver Active light came on in our Chevy. Unsure of what that was we began googling. Google stated it could be as simple as a battery (we just got a new one) or as serious as the Alternator. To air on the side of safety we pulled off to the nearest truck stop. Called AAA. A tech came out...it was the alternator! I called to see if they could service us same day. We were towed to their shop. Upon arrival Sarah greeted up with a smile. Marty followed with the same superb customer service stating "they were waiting for us" and ready to get started. They had a very nice waiting area and even a company van to take you to grab a bite to eat! As a business owner, this was Top level customer service! The repair was fast , the price was reasonable, and had us back on the road in no time! I HIGHLY recommend this place if you are in or passing through Florence and need an auto repair. We were driving from Savannah back to Upstate New York and our car broke down. Luckily we managed to get it to the amazing folks at Dun-Rite who looked at it straight away. The people couldn t have been nicer and were so friendly. They have a lovely waiting room with coffee and a huge TV you can watch while you wait. The owner popped in to check on us regularly and update us on what was going on.When they told us they were unable to fix the problem (it had to go directly to Ford to be fixed) they went above and beyond to help us get there. They helped us organize a tow truck and hire car (it wasn t a quick fix) and even drove us to the hire car place to make sure we got there safely. The owner even called us a few hours later to make sure we were ok!We massively lucked out breaking down by Dun-Rite! The people will do anything they can to help and are some of the friendliest people I have met! Thank you so much for taking such good care of us!

The people were friendly! The service was relatively quick. My battery died and I was towed there 2 days ago. They fixed my battery and it was approximately $250 (labor included). I got my car back and the radio controls/clock set up option were no longer functioning. I took it back to the shop and waited over an hour to be told "yes there are a few codes but we don't specialize in after market radios." It worked fine until my new battery was installed. So fair warning if you have an after market radios installed just be careful taking your vehicle to Dun-Rite. Now I have to go elsewhere and pay more money to get it fixed because they don't know how to fix it themselves. Not knocking the company. I just wish I had known this beforehand.

Mr. Marty was extremely helpful and took his time to explain to me what was going on with my truck. He told me what was the important items to get fixed first and what could wait. He did not try to get me to fix everything at once and spend a lot of money. They took their time and made sure the truck was running like new.
