First few trips to this shop were small jobs and I was extremely pleased. However, last experience was poor. Did not complete the work he was requested to do; overcharged for the work he did do; and upon taking the vehicle to someone else after acquiring the vehicle from him, the next mechanic explained all that was not done, though I was charged for it (according to the receipts given) and actually got the car on the road with minimal additional funds. I preached to many about how great Crafts Auto is - I will no longer do so. Very disappointed customer.

I broke a cam shaft on a 2015 VW Golf and Craft auto repair fixed all of my issues. I waited 7000 miles to leave this review and have not had a single issue. They replaced the dead high pressure fuel pump, broken cam shaft, old timing chain leaking oil pan, and misfiring ignition coils.I plan to use them for any further maintenance this 120k miles VW needs.

Busted a break line 3 hours from home. Was at another auto repair place for over an hour and they never looked at my vehicle. Called Joe and he ordered the part I needed before I ever got there. In less then an hour he had me and my group back on the road and to our destination in time for our event. Thank you so much Joe. If I ever have any problems again while I m that area he will definitely be my first call.Service: Auto brake repair

Always friendly and willing to help. I started going here because it's the only shop my warranty company works with in the area. I am not disappointed. Mr. Joe fixed my heat shield after I hit a pretty big pothole. I also stopped by randomly to find out about an exhaust smell. Since they would have to keep my car for a day to run full diagnostics, they made an appointment that worked with my schedule. I'm confident that Mr. Craft will find & fix the problem. Miss Tina is great at handling the communication with the warranty company, so there's no stress on me when visiting Craft's Auto Repair. I appreciate their services. Thanks guys!

Craft Auto Got my BMW 428 back on the road after an untimely mechanical breakdown. Joseph was extremely professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and he looked out for my best interest as a customer. Great experience!

I don't know jack about cars but dropped my old car off here knowing multiple things were wrong, but not what. Joe prefers texting which is really helpful to go back and read when weighing options. He also explained every step and every option in so much detail so I had all the information I needed up front. His prices are fair and honest, and he always offered a cheaper alternative where he was able. He gave his honest opinion when I was forced to decide what was worth fixing and what I could wait on, despite it being advice that would lose him money. He really took the stress out of what otherwise is usually an incredibly stressful situation.Services: A/C services, General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Battery

I recently took my car to Crafts and had an encouraging experience. Joe was very personable and easy to talk to when discussing the service needs of my car. He pointed out what was wrong and what he intended to do. He does not talk over your head and is genuine about what is going on with the work he plans to do with your car. I will be making this establishment my place of choice when servicing my car.

Joe is always so helpful and very kind! Our first interaction was when my first car broke down. Joe helped me every step of the way and even gave me tips for buying my next car. Now that I have a new car - he is the only person that I go to for maintenance. Very honest, trustworthy and knowledgeable. I highly recommend!!

I stopped for an emergency fix during a road trip. They were quick to respond and even faster to get my car back on the road. Everyone was friendly, communicative, and willing to listen to the customer. The facility grounds have a certain charm that tells you you're in good hands.

I asked Mr. Craft to rebuild a transmission in a pick-up truck, we agreed on how it was to be built and the price. He couldn't do want he quoted and changed what we planned. I went by his shop and his mechanic was watching YouTube videos on how to rebuild a transmission so that was a another major red flag. I paid half the money up front with no issue and gave no reason I wouldn't finish paying the other half. After being drug the the mud for a few days I went by his shop on a Friday morning around 8:00 am. He said it would be ready when I got off work at 5 and he closed at 6pm. I showed up around 5:20ish pm the doors/gates were locked and a car was parked in front of the stall where my truck was. I called Mr Craft and he told me he was closed and wouldn't accept anything but cash from me. This of course was a shock but I ran to the bank and got the other half of the money. At this point I was extremely upset with Mr Craft and got in touch with him he did say he would meet me and I could get my truck. We also agreed to have to police present. My wife had to deal with Mr. Craft because he wouldn't talk to me. He was paid $1800.00 to rebuild a transmission that he did not build as we first agreed upon. The was only driven 50 miles before the transmission went out. Mr. Craft would not stand behind his work and infact blasted me on social media. I heard good things about his shop before we had our encounter but I soon realized he was not the mechanic or business owner I thought. He may be great at oil changes but I wouldn't trust this shop for any work.

We were traveling from Tn to Myrtle beach and our trucks water pump went out and belt broke. Called multiple people and no one would fit us in. We are not from this area and have no idea where to go but this place was great. They told us to come right over on a Friday and he got us fixed up asap! Now we are back on the road. They were all really nice and informative and well priced. We were in a bad situation and could hve been easily take advantage of and we weren't. Highly recommended!

Couldn t be more pleased!!! We were traveling through and something happened to our exhaust. We stopped in on the day after a holiday, he looked at our car right away and got us going down the road within a couple of hours. And very fair and reasonable price. I am so thankful for this repair shop and how much they helped us. I highly recommend!

We were on our way to the beach for a family vacation with a two year old and 14 month old when our air conditioning and power steeeing went out. Not only did Joe drive out to meet us where we were broken down at McDonalds but he also helped us back to his shop. He took the time to check out all different possibilities of what was wrong and gave us options. Joe is a great guy with fantastic customer service and I would HIGHLY recommend his shop to anyone. The last thing you want to have when on a vacation is car problems and he eased our minds and helped us out tremendously.

Our car lost a lot of coolant while traveling home from the beach. It was after hours on Friday evening. We found Crafts Auto Repair on line and I was prepared to drop off the keys and call the shop in the morning during business hours. However, my wife called the number and Mr. Craft was on his way. He identified the problem and told us he would fix it as soon as he could get the parts. By noon on the Saturday, the car was repaired at a reasonable cost. If Mr. Crafts Automotive Service Center was closer to my home, his service center would be my one stop shop for automotive repair and maintenance. Besides repairing the faulty part, Mr. Craft was very pleasant and made sure our under inflated tires were filled up. I was very pleased and thankful our car broke down near such an upstanding repair shop.

I was on a trip going down to florida. My car started to suddenly lose power so I decided i should pull off the next exit on 95. It was 4 :45 pm on a friday one of the worst times to break down. The first two shops i called said they were closing in a few minutes and couldn't even look at it until Monday. I was thinking dammm i am screwed. Monday thats three days in a hotel . Crafts was the third place , i spoke to joe the owner he said try to get it here if not ill send a truck i will not leave untill you get here . I lipmed my car to the shop and he hooked her up to his computer diagnostic. Hey found out in a matter of minutes that a sensor in the engine had failed. Unfortunately no one had one in stock but could have it the next day. He ordered it and personaly drove me to s hotel to stay the night. By 8 am the next morning my car was running like new. He is a very knowledgeable mechanic that does not take advantage of a situation. My car is a porsche . A dealer repair i am sure would have been at least 1,000 dollars. Joe charged me 250 and i know the part alone was 160. So my friends out there this was a great deal with great service. Thanks again joe. Ray D

One star is too much. We had a diagnostic test ran on it for about $60 twice, one a few weeks before service and one the weekend of said service. We were told that our van would be fixed simply by him replacing the coolant reservoir. After the last diagnostic, no other issues were mentioned. The van was towed there and we were told it would cost $240 for repairs. The next day we got a call saying the van was running and ready to be picked up. An Uber was taken there, paid the money, didn't make it halfway down the street before the van cutoff and would not crank. We called back explaining the issue. The mechanic then went on to list several other issues wrong with the vehicle (that he never mentioned after the diagnostic tests we paid for to determine what's wrong with it). We were told it would be fine after the coolant hose was repaired, yet now all of a sudden it had a bunch of other problems. He went on and tried to insult our intelligence by saying we knew nothing about cars and that he goes to school everyday to learn about working on cars. I didn't know we needed to know about cars to pay a mechanic to do his job, that's what he gets paid for, to fix cars for people who "know nothing about fixing cars" or people who don't have time/energy to. Anyway, at that point we wanted out money back. He did not offer to repair the issues and refused to give us our money back. If we had been told about all the alleged issues that he conveniently listed after he failed to fix the van, we definitely would've never paid him $240 for a coolant reservoir. We either would've agreed to paying full price for him to fix ALL issues or bought a new vehicle if it was not worth it. Instead, he lied and said all that needed to be repaired/replaced was the coolant reservoir and that afterwards it would be up and running, and then when he failed to fix it he began to list other issues that he never said after we paid him $60 twice to diagnose the van. Also, if there are so many issues, why call us and say our vehicle is running and ready to go when you knew it wasn't repaired. We had to get it towed there, drove off the lot, it cut off down the street, took an Uber back to the lot because it was too cold to walk back, and then had to get the van towed back home because he still had not fixed it and did not attempt to see why it broke down down the street. That tells me he knew ahead of time that it was not fixed when he called us. Plus, if you are so confident about your work you would not feel the need to try to tell someone they know nothing about cars. Hello, that's what we paid you for. He stole our money, didn't fix a thing, didn't offer to fix his mistakes, didn't offer a full or partial refund, tried to insult our intelligence after he failed to fix anything, and he was just purely unprofessional. I'd also like to point out that we were a regular customer who had been going there ever since we bought the van about two years ago. You would think one would try to keep your business and definitely show a lot more respect to people who have paid you thousands of dollars over the past couple of years, but evidently he does not value his customers or at least not our business. He could just not value his black customers. I did not expect this behavior from him as I've always said good things and shared his business with other potential customers. I was very shocked about his behavior. I hope he enjoys that $240 and all prior dollars received because he will not be getting another dime from us. I'll also be filing a report in small claims court because he stole that $240. Think twice before you have him fix your vehicle or be sure he at least tells you EVERYTHING that's wrong with your vehicle and how he can fix it before paying him a dime.

Usually my experience as a woman, has not been the best when it comes to auto repairs. I usually feel undermined and taken for my money. With Craft Auto Repair I can assure you a kosher experience. Efficient, and honest work!! Great team!! I give 5 stars!!

I refuse to believe this many people had such a great experience with Crafts because I don't believe they have gotten this much business! These people must be family and/or friends of the owner and/or employees. Anyway my driver's side window stopped working on a Friday so in trying to find a place that was close and seemed reputable (based on reviews lol) I decided to try Crafts. I informed the receptionist who shall remain nameless but rhymes with "sheena " stated I could bring it in Monday since it was almost closing time that Friday. I brought it in around 9am and she said she would call me back with an estimate, she called back that afternoon and quoted a price which seemed reasonable, when I asked would it be ready that day she said it should because it's about a 2hr job so I was like cool. Well as time progressed past 2 hrs I proceeded to call to check the status and she was like "they" were waiting for the adhesive to dry because the part that holds the window in place was damaged but she would call me back around 4:30pm before closing to let me know if my car would be ready that day or the next, so I was like ok cool, well it was a little after 5pm before I got a voicemail saying the glue had not dried completely and my car would not be ready until the next morning and that she would call me back then. The next morning came and she called to inform me that the mechanic needed to use an adhesive called "proxy" ? that is usually used for automobiles. So what adhesive did they use before? Crazy glue? Gorilla glue? No wait , super glue? Lol. Anyway I needed to wait until that adhesive dry . Yet still I was patient I asked would it be ready by 12pm and she assured that my car would be ready before then. Mind you I had to be at a presentation at 3:30pm for job. Well I waited until about 1pm and had to call Crafts to check the status of my car when the receptionist stated that they were "just talking " about my car and what to do and that's when I got some lame excuse about the automobile adhesive was not holding up the window either and that's when the owner got on the phone and was explaining that they were "working " on my car for some hours but the window was not holding up and he wanted to get some used parts ...well by then my being frustrated proceeded to abruptly dismiss the conversation and informed him that I needed my car that day before it turned into day 3 and that I was coming to pick my car up. Proceeded to pick my car up from them with minimal exchange with me identifying myself and identifying the owner while getting my keys and saying "we're good?" And the owner replied "well, we're not good but.." and me stating " well it is what it is " and leaving. Still pressed for time I took my car to a Real, REPUTABLE car repair shop the SAME day only to find out that some of the bolts and fasteners were missing on the panel (hmmm?) Anyway, BY THAT EVENING I received a voicemail from this COMPETENT Car repair place that my car window was FIXED!!!!..and THE PRICE WAS LOWER than what Crafts would have charged. So you mean to tell me they can repair your complex mechanical problems with your vehicles but cannot repair a car door window that wasn't cracked or shattered but fell off the window track? HA! Yeah right!

I'm from Tennessee traveling to Myrtle Beach and a problem arose and I came to Google for help and Crafts had great reviews. Joe was very nice and knew exactly what I described to him on the phone. He had the part and took his time and made sure he fixed me right up. Thanks Joe you're a life saver!!!
