Jessica was wonderful! Her and her whole team gave me a whole new experience on car buying. No pressure or back and forth. Simple and to the point. I left happy with my new to me 2021 kia sorento. Highly recommend!

My car has been at this dealership for engine failure due to a recall for over a month now. A week after it was towed here I went to ask for an update and they didn t even know where my car was. Another week later I call and they tell me they haven t looked at the car because they can t find the key. Another week later they say the same thing. It has now been over a month and they are now claiming they never even received the key and expect me to pay $300 for a new one. Nobody has looked at the car or inspected the engine at all. No followup calls from the service department have been made. If i don t call then they don t reach out about the vehicle. Absolutely the worst group of brain dead scum lords I have ever dealt with. Nobody knows what they re doing or communicates with each other. Avoid this place at all costs. They will neglect your car, your calls, and waste your time and expect you to pay for it. After this ordeal i wouldn t trust any of these people to so much as make some lunch, they seem wholly inept.

We took our car for repairs to the nearest Kia dealer. What a mistake. On Monday, they will have had our car for three weeks. We have had to rent a car now to the tune of 750 dollars, and since we have to renew the rental on Monday with no confirmation of completion, it will rise to 1000 dollars. They have made no effort to pay.I hope it is fixed well as insurance fraud across state lines is still a thing! It would have been cheaper to haul it home by UHaul and have it fixed here by this point. Next time I will think to check the reviews before they take the car off.Remember those rental fees while they are selling you that " pretty" little service package. Remember that they can run into hundreds or thousands of dollars while they repair other car before yours. One gentleman with whom I spoke tried to convince me that they have a three week waiting list for all their cars. I informed him that would be a sign of poor management, not an excuse to have a person's car for three weeks. I don't really believe that, but I wanted to make sure he understood how ridiculous the lie was.I encourage all people to file your service complaints with the main Kia web site. If they get enough complaints, Kia will take action towards its dealer.Buyer beware. Your car could cost your an extra 1,000 dollars. Also, what does it say about the quality of the vehicle when it has a major transmission replacement at slightly over 60,000 miles! Buyer beware. I posted this to save you our heartache.

We have waited nearly three weeks and there is no firm end in sight to getting our car repaired. On Monday, we will have paid 1,000 dollars in car rental fees waiting. This was clearly a breach of the implied warranty of the service contact we purchased when we bought the car. This has cost us financial hardship. As I have read over the other reviews of people who cannot get action for repairs it occurred to me that for those of you living in that city, you should be able to seek legal relief as a class action suit for financial hardships due to the implied warranty of service in a timely fashion. It is worth checking with a lawyer. You may be able to file it for Rental car fees etc. as they should be considered a financial damage. We are certainly planning to discuss it with our attorney here, and I would strongly suggest you do the same. This is not a buyer beware society and contracts come with a reasonable assumption of time for repairs. It is a breach of that contract to be delayed and delayed.I also plan to let the warranty people know what is going on. Never just let people take advantage of you. It makes it so much harder for the next person. We were trying to be patient, but we have run out of patient money. We just have no alternative. For those of you who may suffer as we have, these are some ideas we are using to try to resolve our situation and we thought we would share. The fellow today tried to convince me that all the cars brought in since ours was brought in have been waiting three weeks for repairs. He transferred me to a voice box before I could point out to him that, were that true, that is a sign of a lack of management to hire an appropriate number of staff to handle it's contractual duties. It is not the job of the purchaser of a service contract to endure excessive wait time-to the point of financial hardship due to lack of sufficient labor on the part of the seller to wait excessively. This has been a truly horrible experience.

Buyer beware, purchased a used car and one of the reasons why I purchased was the 90 day 3000 mile warranty. At first they seemed to be up standing and honest dealer. Well that did not last long. I was out of town and he coded again and left my wife stranded again. It has been three business days and no return call back. Absolutely pathetic customer service.

The salesmen are great. They try they best to give you what you looking for BUT THE SERVICE AREA ARE HORRIBLE. When pursuing my car 6 months ago the seat belk on the passenger side didn't work. I notified them and it took from April until July to get the work done. They order the part but never reached out to let me know it was in. I found out the part was in when I had to go up there. They then scheduled for the job to get done on the day the person was off to do the work. So I had to reschedule and it FINALLY GOT DONE.NOW MY WATER PUMP NEEDS REPLACED. The car under warranty so it's no cost but $50 deductible. They have had my car for a week and 3 days now. No communication at all. I have to keep calling to see what's going on and that when they tell you whats going on instead of having cursety to let you know. It's always something I would not recommend to deal with them at all.

Tried to get a k5. Employees are nice but I have a Hyundai sonata. Kia apr was to high when we tried to finance. Then I'm told the apr would come down if I have a down payment of $2000. What gets me is that that money doesn't even go to the banks it just goes in their pocket and that's supposed to make the financing better? That just doesn't make any since to me. Love the k5 but I'll stick with my sonata considering I can't even get into a Kia without paying $2000 down.

We purchased our brand new 2023 Kia Soul from Chris King at Car Town Kia! We had the paperwork signed and out the door in 3 hours or so. Chris was very knowledgeable and he made it an all around easy experience. I would definitely recommend paying him a visit if you re in the market for a new vehicle!

I recently had an unfortunate experience with Car Town KIA. Six months ago, I entrusted them with the task of replacing my water pump. Instead of using a KIA genuine part, they opted for an aftermarket one without clearly communicating this decision to me. To add to my disappointment, this aftermarket part failed within just half a year. When I approached them to honor the 12-month warranty on parts and service that they provided, they declined. Their reason? The part isn't a genuine KIA component. I find this reasoning to be quite unsatisfactory, especially considering that the choice to use an aftermarket part was theirs, not mine.As a customer, I expect transparency, quality, and reliability from a dealership, especially one carrying the name of a renowned brand like KIA. Unfortunately, my experience with Car Town KIA has been a stark deviation from these expectations. I sincerely hope others exercise caution and ensure they receive genuine parts when entrusting their vehicles to this dealership.

Your service department. has no idea of what's going on there. I was there over 5 hour .I finally went and asked about my car and they said it had been ready for over an hour and half. No one let me know it was ready. That's very unprofessional .Someone needs to do something.

Just wanted to take this time to say that salesman Chris King is the man! Very easy to talk to, very respectful, and you can tell he takes pride in what he does. He always calls me back whenever I have a question about my purchase. Left the dealership knowing that he has my back. Thanks Chris!!!

On or about June 7, 2023, I called Car Town Kia USA in Florence, SC. Spoke with Service provider Patrick. I asked if they could diagnose my car's engine to see if it met the Kia Engine Settlement. They did their troubleshooting and said it was a thrown rod bearing. The vehicle will need a new engine. The dealership submitted the claim to Kia. I called to check for an update, and they said, "Yes." Kia approved the claim. We ordered your engine, it is coming from Korea. (I purchased a rental car for two weeks because I could get reimbursed through the claim once the engine is completed.) I waited for the engine to come in. It finally came in. The head gasket didn't come in. So, we waited on that. Then I called to check back in. We got your engine in your car but are waiting on the head gasket (contradicting info), so the technician had to pull it out. Then, the dealership stated that they were being audited for Kia Engine Settlement. They had to stop work on my Kia. So, I let their audit go by a few days. I called back, and they said Sorry. Kia denied your Kia Engine Settlement due to a knock sensor not being installed. We have to put your old engine in the car, or you pay for a new engine, including parts and labor. I said give me a few days. I returned to the dealership, and my car has been sitting exactly where the tow company dropped it off in June. The battery was completely dead. It looks like no one touched the car or moved it. I walked in and said Let me speak to the manager. " I spoke to a few people and finally got with the GM, Mike Adams. I explained what happened, and he and his team returned to the Service manager's office and spoke. Mike returned, pulled a chair for me, and said, "This is what happened." He started explaining an entirely different scenario than what I have been told in the last 6-8 weeks. So, you are telling me your service department has lied to me since I dropped off my car. He stated, " I don't know what the conversation was you had with the service department." I got upset, and a few words were exchanged. He said give me a couple of hours. Let's see what I can do. I left and then came back two hours later. He said this is what we are going to do. We are going to install the software and resubmit the claim to Kia. This happened on August 4, 2023. What I need is proof of purchase and registration. I emailed Mike the proof. I then got a call from Rick, the service manager. Saying your claim was denied, there is nothing we can do. I asked if I could leave my car there until I figured out what I could do. I called on August 21, 2023. Hey, I need the service packet, anything you guys have done on my car, and an email quote for the engine. They said yes. What is your email? (I still do not have that email.) Then, I asked if I could have the tow company pick it up today, and they would grab the keys from you guys. They said, "Yes." At approximately 1600, I received the car back home. I popped the hood because the batteries were completely dead to charge them, and the engine was taken apart on top ignition coils, etc. I called the service manager, explaining to him what happened. He said why did you take the car? We are waiting on the claim. I said no, you closed that out two weeks ago, and (actually, back in June) He said Well, what do you want me to do? I said fn, fix it. I don't know what I am going to do. I do not believe that it's my fault. He said don't curse at me, or he will never speak to me again. I have a car in my driveway that needs a new engine, and the current engine is taken apart. If you have a similar issue, please reach out to me. This dealership lacks integrity and professionalism. I highly do not recommend or trust this dealership for service-related issues and vehicle purchases. If the managers are not honest individuals, how can you trust doing business with Car Town Kia Florence? I am Active Duty Stationed at Shaw Airforce Base, Sumter, SC. Also, on Sep 9, I finally got a chance to work on my car. The battery had to be replaced. The serpentine belt was not on/wpbeltM

Worst customer service possible!! I bought a brand new 2019 Forte from them. They are repairing the air conditioning system for the 5th time in 2 years. Currently they have have had it for 2 weeks. Scheduled services take 4 hours minimum. They don't call you to update you on the car. When you call them it's always it should be done by 3pm tomorrow (that has been said everyday this week). The GM, Mike and the service technicians manager, Rex who I have tried to talk to repeatedly do not call back or are available to talk with. I wouldn't not recommend buying a car from this place!!!

I was on my way to a long time coming family reunion in NC when my Soul started acting up near Florence. I brought the car to this agency, as it was the closest in my itinerary. The service department was so overextended, that the prospect of having the auto checked out were not so good. However, I was fortunate to speak to Rex who heard my issue and immediately had the car checked and repaired. I was in at 8 am and on my way by ten. Mr Rex went out of his way to make sure I could continue my trip safely. I owe him for his kindness and his understanding. I was able to get to my destination without a hitch. Happy endings!

I've wanted a mom-car since I had my daughter. She'll be 2 in a few months. I finally decided to go for it, in honor of Mother's Day. Chris was my salesman and he was great, very welcoming & not pushy. Also, shout out to Adam who was very knowledgable and helped me understand the business aspect clearly. Great experience all around! 10 out of 10 recommend.

Major kudos to parts manager Jeff Prinz for his help the other day in obtaining a master cylinder cap for my Kia. He helped me in a quick and efficient manner to quickly solve my issue! These folks also very patiently worked with me previously about my car's wiring issue, it was an expensive job and I'm not super thrilled with that but they explained the situation well with me... And were respectful and decent about it... Kudos to you folks!

Worst customer service experience ever! Spoke with the shop manager who did not seem to care that my car had been there 6 business days for a job that was supposed to take an hour! I was told the part would ve been ordered on 8/18. The technician failed to order it until 8/20. It did not arrive until 8/23. No apologies or nothing! Will be contacting the district office

I've had to stop by here 2 times in the last week unfortunetely because my car was having issues. But Adam and the service department got me taken care of in good time. For both visits. Super friendly and kept me informed of the progress as they were working and even showed me the issue once they found it.We got my brakes fixed somewhere else, but I don't think I will be bringing my car anywhere else for service after this.Great customer service at this dealership. Thank you so much!

I have nothing but outstanding accolades for Car Town Kia's service department! I am a special education teacher from Savannah, GA, and I came home to visit family during my school district's spring break. The day I was to return to Savannah my SUV would not start and I was in full panic mode! I called every Kia dealership within a 50 mile radius of my hometown of Pamplico and no one had service availability except Car Town Kia of Florence. My service team consisting of Patrick, Steven and Kelsey worked tirelessly around the clock to diagnose and repair my vehicle in a timely manner and constantly kept me in the loop every step of the way. They were able to determine my SUV was a part of a nationwide engine recall. Because of this I did not incur charges for my vehicle repair. This was an absolute blessing because as an educator I live on a fixed income. Car Town Kia will ALWAYS be my service provider of choice when I am in the area and require maintenance on my vehicle! Additionally, I will also purchase my next Kia from this dealership because of the professionalism, care and compassion of Patrick, Steven and Kelsey!
