We took our car here because a friend of ours told us they are trustworthy. We came to pick up our car after they called and said it was ready after 2days just to diagnose a light on in the dashboard, when we started the vehicle to pick it up there was a different light on in the dash, Mike told us that was normal .wait what!?!? It wasn t on before I brought it in and now it is .. so they said they would look into it, next day we came to pick it up. This time it wouldn t start because they left my key in the ignition turned on all night. After they jump started my car they told me I should probably let it run for about 15 min after I get to where I m going since it wasnt far away. I turned the heater on and it smells like wd40 now .. needless to say we now have to find another mechanic. I will say they got us in quickly, but unfortunately they did not make me feel confident in bringing my vehicle back.

Mike has always gotten the work done on our vehicles quickly and does a good job. However, he does not acknowledge your warranty if you have one on your vehicle. My husband told him and the lady in the office that he had a warranty company he would like Mike to call, gave the number, (etc) when he dropped his truck off. The lady on the office wrote it on the work order. Mike did the work, and when we picked the truck up, we were told Mike does not use warranty companies because they have been burned in the past (understandable). But neither Mike nor the lady in the office were honest with us about that up front. We found out after Mike did all the work.So just a heads up, if you re looking to use your warranty to help pay, don t come here. I don t think it s a very honest reflection of their business and we will not be bringing our vehicles here anymore.

Mike was quick about being able to check my van out. He quickly came back with a very reasonable quote for the repair. He repaired the van the same day I took it in. I felt that he was very honest and was pleasant to work with. I did not feel like he was trying to get extra money out of me by coming up with other wrong things that needed to be fixed. I know the price he charged was very reasonable, even surprising.

I'm Mike's nephew. He's never done me wrong. If he has the capability to fix your vehicle he will. It should be noted he does not do transmission work.

Mike is very hardworking and a respectable man. He treats people fair and his prices are not overpriced as someone else said. I have used Halcome Auto for many years and he is the only person I truly trust to tell me about what needs to be done to my vehicles. If you don t want to listen to me just take your can in for an oil change and see how well they treat you.Brad

I took my car to have warranty work done from Family Auto. Mike found the problem and told me to bring the car back the next opening he had and he would fix it. So I later returned to have it fixed. Once he completed the work when it was time to pay, I was supposed to have to pay $100 for my warranty deductible. Mike had added a $5 charge for a total of $105. I had only brought $100 exactly and I told Mike that was all I had with me. He said not to worry about it this time and let me go without paying the $5.

I have had work done twice on my car over the past year and am very pleased with Mike and Susan's professionalism. They talk to you like family and are straight shooters! They are more convenient than a dealer and don't try to Up Sell you on other services! Thank you Mike & Susan!

Terrible service, ruined the brakes on one of my vehicles, then put 7 quarts of oil in another vehicle of mine. Refused to fix either of them, although he guarantees his work. I was nothing less than polite to the man, he cussed me out and threatened me.

A friend had his vehicle towed to Holcombes. Traffic kept us delayed. My friend contacted Holcombes and informed them of the delay. They were understanding and agreed to wait for our arrival, even though they had already officially closed for the day. This saved my friend another daily charge. I feel like this company is definitely one of the few who treats their customers with kindness over profit. Very rare find!

Mike is anyways willing to take a look at our cars and is really honest about what's going on with the cars. It's hard to find a mechanic you can trust but the Holcombes run a great business and are the most trustworthy I know

Cause my car got impounded and it's been thier almost 1 month and every time I call about my car no one ever answers the phone or when they do the person they say I have to talk to is on vacation or out of town I have been trying to get in touch with this business about paying the amount that is owed to get my car (Honda Accord 2007) Been down to the business number of times no one is their at thier hours of operation noone seems to be helpful I just want my car and pay what is due on the car this is crazy
