All I can say is wow ! I called and asked if I could bring in a vehicle that my family was looking to purchase. They accommodated my requests. We brought it and they were able to get it in, give us an honest assessment in a reasonable amount of time. Customer service was above and beyond. We dealt with Philip (I think that was his name) and he did a great job. If we are ever in this area again, we will only Deal with Bert s!

Thank you Nick and the entire Bert's Automotive team. I ran into an issue with a part replaced November of 2023 in January of 2024. When the part failed suddenly, I reached out to Bert's and spoke with Nick. In under 30 minutes he had a game plan on how to get my car back to Bert's and assured me that the parts and labor would be covered under warranty. I really appreciated that they stood behind their work and wanted to find a solution immediately. I had my car back in under 48 hours with great communication. We've used Bert's for almost a decade and look forward to working with them for years to come. Thank you again for honoring the warranty and going above and beyond. I would strongly recommend them to anyone needing automotive assistance.

I stopped by to plug my tire. I was nearby when it happened, and it was losing air fast. They got to me quickly, service was top notch, and I couldn't have asked for a more reasonable price. 10/10

Awesome service in all aspects! Bert and his outstanding staff took the time to help us out of towners with an emergent mechanical need. They quickly assessed the problem, came up with a solution and altered their schedule to get us on our way! Their kindness and help was way above expectations, and truly gave us a sense of relief that there are still good and kind folks out there! I am very pleased with the service I received. I have an old Nissan Titan that needed front end suspension work and a exhaust manifold leak. They told me it would be a week and a half before they could start in my truck. I was totally fine with that timeframe. To the "T" they called me in a week and a half with a estimate and diagnosis. A few days later my 2008 Titan got the needed repairs and drives so much better. Everyone I spoke with was knowledgeable and courteous. I'll come out from Boiling Springs to have any of my vehicles worked on at Bert's Automotive. Thanks Bert and Joe!Service: Steering & suspension repair

I am new to the area and had no clue on who I should trust a car repair to. Went to Bert's Automotive on the recommendation of a neighbor. I could not be more pleased. Bert is honest, helpful and shoots straight. His team had my 2017 Hyundai Tucson diagnosed and repaired in 4 hours. They even gave me a ride back home while they had my vehicle. Let me say this place by far exceeded all my expectations!! I blew a tire on Wednesday morning when I hit yet another pothole in Duncan. I needed a replacement tire fast as I had a business trip scheduled for Friday of the same week. I looked at all the major retail stores and none of them were able to get me a tire by Friday. I searched for local repair shops that also does Tires and that s when I found Bert s. I called them around 1:30pm in the afternoon on Wednesday. They had no idea how badly I needed a tire. I simply asked when they could get it in. Not only did they tell me I could come the next morning which was when I told them I could be available, they found out where the warehouse was that had the tire and went across town to get it just to ensure it would be at their shop and available for my replacement the next morning. They went out of their way like this just because not even knowing the urgency in which I actually needed this completed. That was enough to make this a 5 star business but it gets better. The price for the tire and repair was also LOWER than the wholesale big box store and the larger tire companies that you all know we tend to go to. Yes, this hometown, locally owned business not only went out of their way to ensure my repair was completed in less than 24 hours, the cost was actually less than the large retail chains and wholesale stores!!! They fixed my tire in less than an hour, everyone was super kind and professional and I have now found an automotive repair shop I can feel 100% confident in returning to and recommending to anyone I care about!!!! Thank you for your exceptional service Bert and all the people at Bert s Automotive!!

Well, I got a completely flat tire and didn't realize it til I got to the park. I have never used Bert's before because we have a regular mechanic. But I looked up "tire repair near me" and Bert's came up. Even the tow truck driver said they were the best. So I had it towed there and they had me two new tires, balanced and even delivered the vehicle back to the house for me because I didn't have a ride--all that in less than 24 hours. Totally worthit, great price, and awesome service! I'll go to them for all our tire needs in the future.Service: Auto tire replacement

I worked in the auto parts industry for several years in Duncan and have Bert's Automotive work on my personal cars since in Duncan, SC. They really take care of their customers. They made an exception, to fit me in sooner, while I was on a trip back to Charlotte for an emergency issue I was having. They were informative and fair and helped me get back on the road trip. Thanks again guys!

My car broke down in Duncan, SC on the way from Atlanta to Charlotte on the Friday afternoon of Memorial Day weekend. We didn t know what we were going to do. Found Bert s Automotive online. Called the office and talked to Bert. They were very busy but they took us in. I needed a coil replaced. They didn t have the part in stock but was able to get their supplier to bring it over in about 10 minutes. Nick worked on my car from the time I pulled up until he completed the work about an hour later. The total charge was far less than I was expecting. Great mechanics. Great people. My whole family has been using Bert's Automotive for years. The owner is honest. The mechanics are top notch and hard working. They explain car details well. Prices are extremely reasonable. Would highly recommend Bert's.

Bert's always treats all their customers like their family. My husband and I have been going there for a very long time and I most recently needed an oil change for a 12-hour trip. Bert was working the front counter when I came in and he included a tire rotation for free. Their staff is very friendly, approachable and knowledgeable inside the office and in the garage. If you just need to drop off your car they have a service that somebody will drive you back to your house and then pick you back up when your car is ready. I don't know if there is a driving radius for that service but I live about 10 minutes from his garage.Great place to take your vehicle and be I sure that you're getting phenomenal service.

I am so thankful that I found Bert's Automotive yesterday. I was traveling alone from North Carolina to my home in Alabama. I was going home after spending time with my mom who has been in the hospital for 5 weeks. I happened to stop for gas in Duncan and and had someone point out an area on my tire that had been damaged and looked like it might blow out. It would have been dangerous to continue on I-85, so I searched for nearby auto shops. I decided to try Berts because they were close and had good reviews. I prayed that they would be honest and able to help as I drove to the shop. My prayers were answered! They were able to use my full size spare tire and had me back on the road less than 30 minutes later. When Bert told me there was no charge, he could tell I was emotional and he gave me a hug and wished me a safe trip home. Thank you Bert and staff for all you did to bless me!!! Y'all are amazing!

Been going to Bert's for years. From a basic oil change to tires and engine repairs, I have always gotten good HONEST service.Bert and his staff have always gone out of their way to explain any repairs and the approximate cost to me before proceeding with any work. Have personally heard them do the same thing for other customers as well. GREAT place, HONEST staff, can't go wrong with Bert's.

Brought my car in to have these people look a gas leak, and I was told it would take 2 days before they would have a chance to look at it. After a week of waiting for them I was finally able to get a diagnosis, and when I realized how overpriced their service was going to be, I denied the repair. When I went back to go get my car, it only ran for about 2 miles before breaking down on the side of the road. I would not recommend this auto shop to anybody, they are slow (and lie about it in the beginning to get your business) and if you deny your service they will make sure you don't get far when you leave. 0 stars for these crooks
