Big giant waste of time, currently on a 8 hour road trip, needed a tire, call ahead and talk to two different rude Walmart employees, told that they had the tire and I asked if there was a long wait. Walmart employee says no but they cannot give an exact time on how long it will take. I show up 20 minutes later and the Walmart mechanic man walks out and says that it will be hours. The mechanic man was actually friendly and understanding, but the two ladies I spoke with on the phone shouldn't really be in a customer service type job if they don't want to even do the basics.

I went here on 2/13/24 about 9:30 AM for a new auto battery to be purchased and installed. The technician that helped me was very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. he installed my new battery and had me on my way after about 1/2 hour. Thank you, and yes, I'd recommend this place for service if they offer the item you are interested in.

The auto department has to be the worst I've ever seen with a Wal-Mart ever!. Didn't top off fluids had no lights but they said they was fine. They got sealant all over my rims while patching a tire. Didn't put the spare back. I would never recommend coming here and waiting 4 hours for no reason.

Back on November I had went get my oil changed and they mess up the hood of my car it didn t want to close all the way now today the hood of my car had open and crack my windshield if I were you don t take your car to Walmart auto center

Something needs to be done about the service at this location. I don't know what was going on for this to happen today but all I needed was an oil change & my tires rotated. I had to wait for about 4 1/2 to 5 hours! It was a bit busy but that doesnt make this okay. The customer service wasn't good at all and saw workers just standing around. I don't know the situation but I hope it gets better for everyone including workers there smh

Got turned away for an oil change, because they're not smart enough to start my car. The ignition switch is touchy, but does start. I started it twice, in front of the guy working there.

Great price but could only work one car at a time even though they had 2 bays for oil changes. 2 hours for an oil change is a bit much.

It doesn't take me 3 hours to change oil and tires with basic tools. But here it takes more than that with all the latest tools...waited so long I decided to leave at 130 been there since 10am. When I told them to cancel the tires they gave me a free oil change.

Got a great deal on my tires, but I think this will be my last time coming here for an oil change. The first time they told me I had oil pan damage and it was too dangerous to change. Took it to a shop, oil pan was fine, 0 issues. Now I've been here since before 10:00AM (it's 11:35) and my car still isn't done. There was 1 truck and 2 sedans in front of me. I've now seen several SUVs go through and be picked up that were not there when I dropped my car. You used to be able to scan the ticket they gave you on your phone to see what was going on, not anymore. The price is great, the efficiency sucks.

I think it's kinda lame that you can get a basic oil change for less than their service charge of bringing your own oil and filter... everywhere else was cheaper. They're usually the cheapest for basic stuff like an oil change.I stopped using Walmart Auto Care Centers years ago when they (Seaboard St. location) replaced my K&N filter with a paper one. There was clearly a big red STOP do not replace K&N sticker on top... but I thought I'd give them a second chance and call to check the price... no thanks.

Got new tires here. Ordered my tires online, booked an appointment to get them put on. unfortunately missed my appointment due to an emergency but I went in later that day and they still got me in whithin a reasonable time period. They also checked my battery and my fluids for me.

I go here pretty often only because they re opened later than most mechanics. They are understaffed and usually pretty rude no matter how polite I am. Only 2 guys have actually had decent customer service. I was there today for a tire exchange and so were the 2 people ahead of me and they didn t have the tires that any of us needed.

Cheapest oil change price but you'll have to wait for hours. We went there around 1pm with only 3 cars ahead. With 5 people there only 1 man is working because some are just walking and looking around and browsing their phone. Waiting is 3 hours and half, and 15 mins to have oil change for our car .

Went to Walmart to take back a battery and customer service said it had to be tested which is fine. Took it back to the auto center they said it would take an hour, that was fine. Hour was up and went back and it wasn't ready so we left and went home went back 3 hours later still not ready. It has now been 5 hours and they still say it isn't ready yet.Service: Battery

I have never seen slower service or ruder customer service. We were told three hours for an oil change and they had two cars in the bay and two cars outside including mine. The first car was being pulled out. When we asked how much longer after 1.5 hours we were then told that there were 4 cars ahead of us. Will never go back!!!! I would rather go to jiffy lube and pay a little more with faster service!!! I wouldn t give one star but I had to give them something! I worked in the auto care center of Walmart and know how long it takes. The woman at the counter has no customer service skills what so ever!!

I was about to take a road trip and knew I needed new tires and an oil change. I was in and out of there within about 2 hours. Very pleased with the service and the price I paid was reasonable. I made it there and back safely thanks to the guys at Walmart.

I ordered tires online like I have done before. The tires were in stock, the website stated the tires would be ready for pick up at 3:16 pm. I got there at 3:15 on the way home from work. I live an hour and a half away.I was then told that I would have to go over there. I asked where? Over to the old lay away place. I have been to the store several times but, where is that? Near the tv's, I asked can't I just get those tires right there, they had my size right there.No you have to go over there. Okay I say. I go over there and they tell me truck just backed in, it will be 7. I asked 7 minutes? No 7 pm. I am not waiting almost 4 hours to get the tires. So I cancelled the order, it took 5 days to get my pending charge of my debit card.Rude and disrespectful, how incompetent to just not let me get tires I had paid for.

The manager Matthew here is so sweet & awesome he even helped me on his day off while he was here when I had concerns about my tires. I will always come back here & I recommend this Walmart auto center over all the other ones in horry county!Service: TiresService: Tires

On 7/26 I took my Car to Walmart for a tire Replacement. I was shown Two Nails in another tire that needed to be repaired, said Mr. D. The Man behind the Computer Mr. H asked if I Purchased Insurance. I said Yes. He said only one of the tires was Insured. I knew differently!I asked him, when you get time, would you get me some Windshield Wiper Blades, for my other Vehicle and he said he would.After Waiting 1hr and 35 Min. I went to the Counter to Pay my Bill, I asked Mr. H if he had the Blades. He didn't, so I told him not to Worry about it.I Went to my Car and got MY recipe and took it back to Mr. H. I pointed out both tires were insured. This Man looked at the Recipe and said, that wasn't his Writing. He Refused to Acknowledge my Recipe because his Writing wasn't on it( lol)? I was Charged $30 for tire Plugs the Insurance should've Covered. Walmart PLEASE return my $30 and tell Mr. H a Recipe can be Legit, even though it's not in HIS Writing SMH. I Miss Christy!Your mechanics are wasting Customers time, They Intentionally Work like snails or Turtles and stop to hold conversations with each other, Friends that pull up to the Shop or people they know entering or leaving the Store. They can't give you a straight answer on what an oil change costs. They have to complete the service and start billing you through the computer before you know the cost. It's a convenient way for them to jack the price up and you have no choice but to pay since they already did the work.

I went there with a complete disaster situation from another tore store and they went out of their way to get my tires changed and oil done in the time I needed to get to work. Amazing quality service and great prices on new tires !! So thankful for the shop manager as well!!

Elderly counter gentlemen was the most helpful and informative employee. Techs were very courteous and our tires were a very good price, purchased extra warranty due to low cost and coverage. Excellent deal.

Broke down on the side of the road with no oil after an oil change. Had to be towed back to wal-mart. All around huge inconvenience, yes they re cheaper, but, avoid a headache and take your vehicles to a licensed shop.

Everytime I go to this place they are unorganized they seem like they don't know what they are doing and the girl that works the counter has no customer service skills she is the rudest person I have met and I lived in Delaware for a year and people up north seem to come off very rude. When you go to the management team and tell them your concerns they brush you off like they don't care so it would be in your best interest to go somewhere else considering I have tried to give then multiple chances and they seem to mess up every chance they get! Thanks for reading from a very irritated customer who worked for Walmart for 10 years

Was very disappointed with the tires I purchased last year. Bought one day, traveled to Ohio the next day, and 3 days after buying them, one of the tires already had a huge bubble on the side wall.Paid over $200 for 2 tires, they were junk :(

Had a flat tire at the last minute... staff was transitiong to leave because shift was over and thankfully the staff stayed until I arrived and assisted me with patience.... such a great pleasure!!

Mr Charles the tire and lube manager and Keren told us when we walked IN that they was booked up and most likely would not get to my one tire that I desperately need cause my car was stuck on the side of hyw 378 cause my spare blew out on the way to get the tire fixed and they was the only place open at 6pm on Saturday. I first called them before arriving and talked to Mr Charles and first aseed if they had a tire in Stock he said yes I do then I asked can I get it on today if I bring it to you cause I'm stuck on the side of 378 waiting for a ride to come get me he said yes just get here before 7 we close at 7 so be here in time before 7 so we have time to mount it for you so I said thanks see you soon. Then we finally arrived at the tire and lube at 615 and walked in and spoke to keren and told him I called and I just need a tire my car is on the side of 378 I'm a walk in and he said probly not cause we are booked up till 7. I said whoa I called I'm stuck on 378 and Charles said he could do it. So he got Charles to come and I explained to him and he said yes I remember talking to you I said good so I need this tire bad he said ok but probly can't get to it today we are booked. Well that's not what he told me on the phone then he said I never said that and then he started with I probly don't have that tire in Stock let me go look ok so he lied to me an the phone and lied to me in my face. Luckily he came back and had the tire but still said probly won't get it done today well I'm sure u know the conversation went on for awhile and finally he said ok I'll skip my break and do it now for you but I never told you we had the tire or would get to it today. So he was willing to leave us stranded on the side of the road if I didn't say anything. Wow what customer service

They need help so badly! The poor man at the counter was by himself the whole time, and there was 4 vehicles ahead of me. And more people who came in behind me. He kept his attitude professional but asked me if I knew any mechanics looking for a job.... that was a cry for help and I am not sure how I feel about that!
