My dad and I always take our cars to Zeagler s. They always do the job right and for a fair price. Their customer service is outstanding. They always communicate with you before any work is started on what work will need to be performed and how much the cost will be. I would highly recommend Zeagler s to everyone.

I had a battery drain issue for 6 months that took me to three different shops, through a new alternator, and about five different batteries. Zeagler's was the first shop able to trace it down and finally solve the issue, and at a very reasonable price. I'll definitely be coming here again if I have car trouble, especially for electrical issues.

This place is a lifesaver, very kind and honest people working here. They helped us out with a minor project during a big road trip, and were kind enough to bump us up on the list. As someone who as worked at a mechanic shop, this place and the people there were 5 stars all the way! Thank you so much guys!

I highly recommend Zeagler s. I ve been taking my cars there for more than 15 years because I believe Ralph and Scott are honest, professional mechanics. Their prices are affordable. There were times when I thought there was something seriously wrong with my car, and it turned out to be a small repair. Times like that you re grateful not to be taken advantage of. Recently, something did go seriously wrong. The transmission went out on my old Sienna with more than 225,000 miles. They popped another one in at a good price, and it s riding just fine. Over the past few years, Zeagler Auto Service has provided our family with top-notch service. Being from New York and having a son and daughter attend U of SC, we've had 4 different vehicles brought to them at different times and for different reasons. Each time it's been a pleasure knowing there is no game playing taking place when they get to work. Ralph and Scott are extremely courteous. Jeanine and I appreciated their honesty and professionalism from our first experience using them. They are a perfect example of how an auto repair business should be run and no one person should have any doubts in their mind about the kind of service they would receive if they decide to call them. I made an appointment because my check engine light turned on, dropped my car off at the shop, and waited a few hours until they called back to tell me my car was ready. They said it was something wrong with the code, that they reset the code, and my car was actually fine. They gave me my keys (of which they broke a keychain of mine) and then I eventually needed help getting out of their parking lot. I was charged an insane amount for only labor. 100% will NOT return to this business.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I'm from out of state and needed a dependable, fast, reasonably priced mechanic for my older truck before hitting the road again. The first time I went in I got exactly that. The second time I went for other work, they told me would take all day. I arrived at 7:30, checked my car in at 8:00a. The car was not worked on when I left at 11:30a. I arrived back at 4:00p that same day and my car was done. Assuming they did the work right after I left, that's about 4.5 hrs, with labor totaling at $525. So that means they charged me about $115/hr., that is giving them the benefit of the doubt. A bit steep. Is that the going rate? I sucked it up since I needed my car and frankly exhausted from having to walk 2 miles and wait and hop buses to get to their shop 6 miles away. (no, they didn't even offer me a ride when their well dressed business man got preferential treatment - and I'm an older woman from out of town, which I told them this before). I'm a bit pissed that I got taken advantage of by them. Although the work was done well, I'll give them that. Disturbingly the front office lady (owner's wife) isn't exactly the nicest person. I DREAD dealing with her. She responds to me as if I was imposing on her because I wanted more details than what was on a general invoice.I still have to get a lighter/device replaced but they said putting that in would be under $200. What? It took a bit of doing to get a better idea of why he would possible charge me even close to that much. I only needed ONE of the two power plugs fixed. Scott ordered both of them without checking first and was going to change them whether they needed it or not. Parts for both: $35 ($10 for the one I actually needed, $25 for the cigarette lighter I didn't need, which still works); Labor? His guess is under $200. Sure dude, just because I didn't flinch to pay your over priced rates doesn't mean I can keep this up. Frankly, $1500 given to this shop is more than my budget can bare and still get home safely. I don't get a ride, don't have a ride and the smell of cat crap in the office while waiting is difficult to endure. I guess if I were a well-dressed, well paid man, they would give me better treatment.

Awesome experience. I needed a small repair to bolt down my battery, which was done in about 15 minutes and I was not even charged for the service! I have just moved back to Columbia after almost 30 years away, and will definitely make this my new car shop.

Honest dependable mechanic!! You can trust them to do a great job and not rip you off by doing work you don't need. The only downside for some would be it may take a little longer to get your vehicle back due to the fact they're so busy. This is the only shop I use for my car.

Zeigler is competent, fair, and friendly. Their work is topnotch; they will work with you and your budget to get you back on the road. I know of no better set of mechanics in the state.

I'm a Senior Citizen (75 yrs) ... This is the first time they have worked on my car ... They had my car towed, fixed the gear shift problem and charged a very reasonable fee. Nice polite, friendly and knowledgeable people! I am so glad to recommend them!

I took my Chevy Tahoe into the shop with a check engine light on issue. Issue was with the distributor cap button and spark plugs. Diagnosed quickly, truck fixed, runs great. I got the truck back the same day. Communication on issues great, would highly recommend this shop! Will always take my truck there for any service issues.

So my father-in-law was driving from Florida to Ohio via Columbia in his 2009 Chevy Colorado. About 60 miles south of Columbia his transmission began to fail. After he called and told me the issue, I immediately hopped online and based on Google and Yelp reviews I sent my father-in-law straight to Zeagler. Zeagler did not disappoint. They were able to get him a rebuilt transmission and install it within about a week at an extremely reasonable price. Since the new transmission was installed he has driven the truck back to Florida with zero transmission issues. Thank you Zeagler!

Was driving through Columbia and had car trouble. The dealership could not get to me for at least a day, Zeagler s worked me in, fixed the car promptly and charged a fair price. I now know where to send my college kids to get their cars worked on when and if it s needed. Very nice people.

They are THE BEST! You might have to wait a day or two but that's because they are so popular and busy. Job will be done as excellent as can be and the price I'm sure is the lowest it could be. Friendly and don't talk to women like they don't know anything about the vehicle

Ziegler's does fabulous world. They stand behind their work and unlike so many other places they don't try and sell you everything that you don't need. If you go in for an oil change that's all they will do I will not charge you for tires or tell you you need a lot of work on your car. They prefer to know your car so they can tell what you need and what you don't.

Ralph and his son run a tight honest car repair outfit. They keep the garage clean, simple and straight forward. I have taken all my cars to him for over 30 years. I trust him implicitly.

I drove my girls car up on a stump and damaged the exhaust (what an idiot right) and i have common sense when it comes to mechanical work... i thought only a ring was busted and I called several dealerships and they were telling me it would cost 1000 dollars blah blah blah and it wasnt just a broken ring, I found this man and good god what a guy, the most honest man youll ever meet. He said i was right it was just a broken ring and it only cost 150 dollars. Great service, great work, and someone you could trust with your money! 10 stars if i could go over five

I got an alternator done here that recently malfunctioned. I took the car back to them, and they had it fixed within a day, plugged a leaking tire, and fixed my front end, all for no charge. They have earned my loyalty.

I always take my car here when something wrong with it they fix it and if it's not right they say bring it back so they can get it right. I like Mr.Zeagler and his team good Auto shop!

My daughter attends Univ SC and we needed to find an auto shop that she could rely on. We found that shop here at Zeagler's. They are friendly, competent and fair. I highly recommend this shop.
