Sam and the men there are the absolute best! You will be able to get your car in and out of the shop quick. They are very transparent and explain everything in full detail. Being so far from home while at school and not having my dad to help me whenever something happens with my car, I am lucky I can always trust the Muffler Shop of Columbia!

Initially came in before to address the catalytic issue but just didn't have the time to have the vehicle serviced. I came in this week wish I had more time to get the vehicle service in which it was done in a timely fashion as well as being professional. An additional caveat the warranty was pretty good too. I would recommend if you have any Muffler issues or catalytic converter issues check them out.

I had installed a cat-back exhaust system on my car and needed them to align and weld it in place. I had only a temporary exhaust clamp in place. They were able to get me in quickly and did a great job. I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonable they were on price. Thank You.

The most amazing experience that I ve had with a car service shop in many years. From the first phone call with Sam answering to my appointment to speaking with Brian and dealing with their entire staff was like a whole new world. Loved people watching and seeing them interact with their customers was a treat and I dread having to spend time in car shops but not the Muffler Shop. I honestly feel like I ve made friends there and can t wait to tell my friends about this gem that I stumbled on. I live between two cities Atlanta and Cola and I will be telling everyone about Brian, Sam and the team. I was go impressed with them I prepared a Charcuterie box for them! I m smiling as I type and that s the kind of impression they made. Great job guys!

Great customer service, quick service, great communication. Got multiple things done and repaired here with my mustang. And has been a great experience each time. Highly recommend. Make sure to call or use their website for appointments. They can sometimes get busy, otherwise great business.

These guys are professionals!Very good service and accurate time and price, took my Genesis to this shop and get fixed my loud exhaust, still sound strong even with the new mufflers but just enough to avoid a $$$ ticket.Thank you guys!

Muffler Shop always takes great care of my aging Nissan! I recently took it in because I was experiencing an audible shudder at high speeds. They determined it was a worn out axle on my passenger side and replaced it within the day and for a more than reasonable price.

My exhaust pipes had rusted out of my truck, so I took it to the Muffler shop. I met Sam for the first time and he was very polite and well mannered. Sam gave me a couple of different options for getting the job done. I chose to go the cheaper route without any problems. They replaced and rerouted the exhaust pipes, the job was well done and I'm very happy. I would recommend the Muffler Shop to all of my Family and Friends. Go to the Muffler Shop for all Exhaust problems. Ask for or Brian, tell them Rony sent you.

Anytime I have ever needed any kind of exhaust work done, the guys at The Muffler Shop have always taken care of what I needed. The last 2 times I ve been there it has taken them under 3hours combined to finish the job. I don t take my car anywhere else!

This was my first visit to The Muffler Shop. They were able to get me in quickly, started immediately on the muffler replacement, and it went far quicker than even they estimated. Add to that the price could not be beat. I highly recommend them.

I am a senior at USC and have been going to the Muffler Shop all four years of college. I know that I can trust them and their pricing is always more than fair! They are very quick and flexible. Great communication. I have recommended many people to go here.

Took car here to be tuned, it left with more problems than it came with. Zero accountability by anyone at this shop. Upon leaving my review, Chris/Sam decided to leave false negative reviews on a family business they've never used- rather than reach out to me to see what the problem was. Chris doesn't see a problem with his employee stalking customers or prank calling them 30+ times in an hour. Zero responsibility taken by Chris, Zero apology from him or Sam. - The one that got my information from Chris to harass in the first placeHostility, immaturity and unethical business practice have been my experience here- but certainly no actual work being done if they have time to play childish games.

Great service, fair price for the work involved in my particular project and very upfront staff. The particular gentleman that replaced my failing exhaust took time to let me know what he saw and recommendations. Will definitely recommend these guys to friends and family!

Got an install done on my forester. Supplied my own exhaust midpipe and mufflers. The shop gave me some solid advice and priced me at shop rate. In and out less in than 2 hours. Great service, definitely recommended.

I was very happy with the service provided by The Muffler Shop of Columbia. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I was quoted a price of $4000-5000 for a repair that was made here for less than $300.00. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs exhaust system work done.

Some while back we were downtown on a Sunday, and after attending Sunday Services downtown, found that one tire was almost flat. Question became, where do we find service, or even air, until we thought of trying the Muffler Shop on Huger St.Fortunately they were open for business, and after waiting a very few minutes, they had the car on the lift, found and removed the nail, plugged the tire, and we were back on our way to a family dinner.Enough cannot be said for the professional, pleasant, and courteous manner presented by the manager/owner?, and the staff that day, to say nothing of their very modest prices.Great service, and great people.

I came here to alter the sound of my vehicle and was surprised at how professional and knowledgeable the staff was. I started with a dual resonator delete, then a recommendation was made to also do a dual muffler delete, and we added a bottle style resonator to the center of the vehicle for drone reduction. Best decision ever for changing the unique sound of my Audi A4. At first listen, you d question if it s an A model or S model. Sam and London took great care of my car and unique situation by ensuring the minor hiccup was resolved once and for all. Thank you both and Thank you Muffler Shop!

Sam and team proved to be reliable, efficient, and outright forthcoming with any issues or matters that needed to be tended to on an 05' JGC. Great people over there doing high quality work. Went there for my gand marquis exhaust system and they did an amazing job. Cant wait to go back for them to do my truck next.....Well i went back with both of my Dodge Durango one with the 5.9(red) & my other with the 5.2(black). They worked their welding magic and now my 5.2 sounds so good. I cant wait to go back and have headers installed

These guys make you remember how it was to go to a mechanic shop. No extremely long and unexplained long waits, no incomplete work, no overcharge....They give you what you have asked for, completely and with high quality, in a short amount of time and with reasonable pricing. Def recommend.

We were stranded in Columbia on a Sunday afternoon when our newly purchased used 2005 Winnebago Rialta unbeknownst to us had a large hole in the top of the muffler. The carpet on the floor inside the RV above the muffler literally caught on fire and burned!!!! No one could help us on Sunday but Monday morning as they opened we went to The Muffler Shop of Columbia. We were 11 hours from home & they got us right in, surveyed the damage & fixed it asap and at a very reasonable cost. Plus, every single worker we dealt with was kind, courteous, friendly and professional!! The gentleman running the office is the best!!!!I can not highly recommend them enough!!! Service: Exhaust

Came in from out of town with an exhaust emergency and they got me right in within 30 minutes. And that was my drive time! Awesome service and will visit again if I am ever in the Columbia, SC area and need exhaust work.

I have been using this business before they opened the doors. I met Brian and Chris in 1995. Brain worked on my foxbody mustang during that time. He has done so much work for me over the years. He recently worked on the same foxbody mustang yesterday. They are very honest and straightforward. Sometimes it s not what you want to hear but it s true. The Muffler Shop of Columbia is outstanding! Brian and his staff are true professionals. I have a 2020 Chevy 2500HD that I got an exhaust system put on. The Muffler Shop did a great job on my exhaust, put a flowmaster flow fx on my 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 2500hd and did and outstanding job and it sounds great. All the guys there are nice and informative. Highly recommend.

Sam the front guys customer service was great over haul the work they did in my car was excellent will recommend anyone needs Muffler job just pay them a visit ! U won t be disappointed
