One thing that I appreciate about my experience here is that there is no overdone haggling me to get extra services. The Tech, Woodrew, was nice and asked about my wipers. I did purchase new wipers because they were worn, but when I said no to the new filters and other stuff, he accepted that and continued with my service. That was a breath of fresh air, because other places just hound you until you never want to go back to them. Hence me being here instead of those places. My oil change took about 15 minutes and as advertised, I didn't need to get out of my car. The price is a little higher than old-school places, but you're paying for the convenience. To be in and out of there within 15 minutes with an oil change and new wind shield wipers was well worth the price for me.Service: Oil change

Had a great first experience at Take 5 on Devine Street! William was very kind and knowledgeable and explained all of my options with no pressure! William has great customer service skills and made the entire visit stress free. The whole team was quick and efficient, I will definitely be a returning customer!

A PLEASANT surprise . I went in expecting only an oil change, however there were a few extras included that made my experience even better. I was offered a bottle of water, they put air in my tires, let me know about how many miles my air filter would be good for and they cleaned my windshield!!! The customer service was awesome. I'd definitely go again.

Great experience. The guys up there were great! Excellent service from Wolf, William & Blayton. Andrew was the manager on duty & greeted me with a bottle of water before I even pulled in the bay! love these guys and will keep coming back!

Sometimes it takes a long time depending on what time of day you go, but the techs here are always professional and kind. They have a good energy about them and make sure you're well taken care of. If you don't mind the wait or find a good time to get in and out quickly this is a great place for basic preventative maintenance on your vehicle.

Wolf was awesome! I came in because my car was saying I needed an oil change and when I came in Wolf walked me through everything. I will definitely be coming back! Not to mention another guy who works there even brought me water without me even asking. great environment!

I've been going to take 5 since 2020 and this was by far the best experience. It was quick and efficient. The staff was super friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. Andrew was the manager on duty. He was a sweetheart and answered all of my questions which helped to put my mind at ease as it had been a while since my last oil change. The staff had a good rapport and it seems they have a good bond with each other which made the experience even more enjoyable. 5 stars all around.

I have been going to Take 5 Oil Change for several years, and have never had a better experience than the one in Columbia on Devine. First coming up, a nice gentleman walked up to my car greeting me with a smile. There was another vehicle that came in after me and went to the next bay. He came in about 1 minute after I did, however the gentleman came back to tell me that they were going to wait to work on the other vehicle since I was there before and they were just about finished with the one in front of my car. He was very considerate, however I was in no hurry and told him it wouldn t bother me to start on the other vehicle. Robert was the name of the man I was communicating with and he was super nice! There were multiple men who worked on my car, and each and every one of them were very personable and kind. I usually don t leave reviews but this one was definitely worth it. It hard to find good people who enjoy their jobs these days and although they were busy they were quick and did a great job!!!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

Customer Service was excellent. I visited the Take Five at the Devine Street location in Columbia, South Carolina. The guys that were there topped off all fluids, checked tire pressures, clean my windshield, and offered me bottled water. I have visited one other location that is the one at the Garners Ferry location. I received okay customer service but never had my windsheild cleaned, my tire pressure checked or offered bottled water. I am not sure if someone woke up in a good mood and wanted to good above and beyond on Sunday, but I was very pleased with my oil change. It will be great if all location would be more consistent.

The guys at this location are awesome. Very knowledgeable and friendly. All 3 of them went out of their way to make sure all my fluids were topped off and put air in my tires. I did not feel pressured (like I do at most places). If I could give more than 5 stars I would! THANK YOU. (Be sure to try those speedies)

I've been here a few times before and it was fine, overpriced, but you're paying for convenience. My most recent experience here was horrible though. My technician was nice enough, but he was clearly rushing and carelessly reinstalled my air filter, crimping the edge. I didn't notice until my engine began to stutter, leaving my engine severely and irreparably damaged. Now I have to deal with a massive expense due to an easily avoidable mistake. I would recommend taking your car to an actual garage with a higher standard of professionalism, this type of mistake is simply unacceptable.

My first experience was great, excellent service. So I decided to take my other car there, pulled up, and went over the bell. The 2 service guys were sitting by the door and did not move!! I sat for 5 minutes. When I left, they looked up and kept sitting. Oh well, I won't be back. The sad part about it was the manager that runs the story. Moved from another state to take that store. I was satisfied with their previous service level, but this time was atrocious.

I wish I could remember his name but I had the best service I ve ever had when getting my oil changed here yesterday! I want to say it was Matt, he had a light colored beard. But regardless, they were very quick and I got my services for a very reasonable price, especially considering I have to get full synthetic. He was very nice and gave my puppy some bones and pets! As usual these guys are great and I never go anywhere else to get routine maintenance. They were very busy when I got there but was still speedy service especially when you compare other shops. It was mighty wide of Rumsey to keep me up on what was being done and offering me water. Thanks William for working the pit.

Every time I ve been here the technicians have been really nice and quick. I needed their help with a special ask the other day, and after a day of dealing with a lot of unhelpful people it was nice to be listened to and get what I needed so easily. They even listened to me complain why I was there asking for help:)

Came in first thing after work yesterday morning, 23 Dec 23 to be specific. Since they just opened the service was quite quick. Not to mention very good. The technician was quite pleasant to with with. I can't begin to tell you how good it is to have a facility that specializes in oil changes. Absolutely will be back for my next preventative maintenance needs. Great experience!!

Rob-assistant manager on duty. Awesome customer service. Gave me honest advice on service needed and didn't just charge me for something I didn't need. I am very disappointed that I had to wait for service due to someone who pulled in 10 minutes after me, but was serviced ahead of me. I notified the Service Manager, Kevin, about my disappointment and all he said was, Sorry. They lost a loyal customer today.

Great customer service communication wise. Was all of the things completed as said on receipt, no. Did not refill my windshield washer fluid and did not clean my windshield. The cost of the service was high to not have these done. Not to major just think it s a good perk to do at the time of service.

Freddie was awesome,.super nice and explained the process. He showed me the air filter, which needed to be replaced. It was nasty dirty. Wasn't pushy.Also,..the Manager,..I believe his name was Woodrow,.oversaw everything. He introduced himself and made sure I was satisfied.Couldn't be happier with the experience.Jamie D

Take 5 is by far the most Awesome experience in service and professionalism I have experienced in receiving auto service. I will definitely revisit them and will never ever go to Walmarts service department again. Keep up the excellent work Take 5 crew, y'all deserve a raise!

The business on Garners ferry road doesn't accept bringing your own oil. It's independently owned, so the prices are more. The business on Rosewood and Gerry across from McDonald's is a lot better and you can bring your own oil there.

I was treated so unbelievably rude tonight that I left without getting my oil changed. A member of the staff was directing me into the garage, he was being very confusing about what he wanted me to do and got instantly belligerent. Screaming out "Jesus Christ" amongst other things at me. Trust me, I came no where near deserving this. I called him out on his behavior and he continued to be rude. I turned to the other staff member and I said "should I just leave?", he said "itsit's up to you". So you better believe I left. I've never been treated so rudely trying to get my oil changed. It was really unbelievable. I will never go back. Never.
