My car broke down on the way to work. I called Midas to see if they could help me. They told me to get the car there as soon as possible. And I did they had a car waiting for me to take back to work for me to drive.They expedited the diagnosis of my car. And then called me with a price. And it was very reasonable and they had it ready before I got off work. It was a great experience

Chain shops like this one are good for general upkeep and maintenance. Just keep in mind when you have a major issue it would be worth it to get towed (if included in your insurance) to a local business that doesn t have to mark up every piece and part. You can save hundreds that way!

Ill give them one star for being open, In March 2023 I dropped in on a rainy Saturday for a dead battery that was caused by a malfunctioning Alternator.Service here was fast, a bit pricey though I decided to let them continue because of their guarantee and the 2 year warranty on the NAPA parts they installed. This was Both a new Alternator and Battery.Four months later on July 30, the new alternator failed. The thing rattled as if it was coming apart and the battery was at 11.8 volts according to the dash and my multimeter. The next day I DROVE the truck to them and reported the issue.They called back a few hours later- here is where it gets fun.I believe it was Richard that called, he said the battery was dead so he replaced that under warranty, then he said that the starter was dead and needed to be replaced. I agreed and they called back saying the starter wouldn't turn the engine and that the engine was seized! How? I drove it there with no issues.They offered a no charge if I would pick it up then_ NO WAY, they will give me a reason. I went up there and they agreed to pull it in for a diagnostic. A while later they call and say there was metal debris in the #2 cylinder and that the engine needed replacement.He quoted me a price of $10,000 to do so and the next day I'm having it towed home after paying $183 for their diagnostic.Once home I turned the main crank myself with a 12" ratchet and a 15/16 socket! The guy that picked it up also turned the engine while the truck sat in my yard.It went to another garage where the mechanic had it back to me 36 hours after he picked it up. New Starter, new alternator, new set of plugs. He said he looked inside the engine and didn't find the metal they were talking about.Now she runs greatNow though I'm out of a $400 alternator that's 4 months old. The new guy just went after issues and fixed everything as he knew time was at a premium for me.If Midas had diagnosed the issue correctly it would have saved me 2 separate tows and 4 days.This is my work vehicle, a 2015 Colorado that I have done my best to keep in top shape. Its clean, and now it works.No thanks to Midas. I would be hesitant to bring in a set of floor mats guys.Picture of the vehicle was taken on the day of this review.

I was charged for a Nissan Rogue radiator part $326. I was told (after the job was done) that it is the price of the market. THE PRICE OF THE MARKET IS BETWEEN $78-$100. Nissan service is charging $199 for the part. In the top of everything I was charged $14 for the lid. And they used the old lid! This was the most greedy team I deal in about 12 years of using Midas services. I changed tires, tune the engines, change oil all those years. This was my last time using Midas servicing.

Good at appointment times. You can set one online,phone, and in person. They check almost everything they service to let you know where you car stands for examples oils transmission brake etc. brake changes tires alignments rotating tires free water for your wait. a great view of servicing of your vehicle. Restroom area as well.

Needed my front driver s side tire replaced about an hour before I had to go to work. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes, and the price was fair. Would highly recommend!

The Midas Technicians were Amazing! My 2010 Honda Civic came into their shop limping on 2 tires but when I left it was running on all 4 cylinders. The took care of it as if it was their very own. They rock! Great job! You can ask me I will tell you exactly what a great job they did. The price was worth every penny. It was reasonable, and they stand behind their work. That's what I like.

You overcharged me. The lady sales associate did not tell me about my lower priced options. I was highly taken advantage of. I should get a full refund. I need a manager to call me for a refund. Nearly $400 for one tire? RIDICULOUS

The managers and staff at the Millwood Midas store were absolutely wonderful and so helpful. They assisted me with a flat tire and had me back on the road in less than 10 minutes. Highly recommend!

Everytime I have been to this location they are friendly, they explain everything thoroughly and work with you for whatever you need. Recently I used the courtesy car and was very impressed with the ease and cleanliness of the vehicle

My first time at Midas, based on neighbors' recommendation. I had an oil change and my sunroof drains cleaned. I arrived for my appointment and was greeted promptly, and they went to work right away. I was updated from start to finish on what was taking place, and the price quoted to me over the phone is the price that I paid. Great customer service employees. Great feedback on their free (and honest!) Midas Touch Visual Courtesy Check. I was in and out in under an hour. I will be returning to them for all service work on my car in the future!

Just called asking for a potential estimate for parts and labor for a catalytic converter and labor. A young lady transferred me over to Richard (says he s the location manager) I do understand that they can t give and exact price over the phone but I ve called before and they ve given me a rough estimate before. After telling Richard what was wrong with my car he proceeded to ask me how did I know for sure ? I told him I ve had my care coded/diagnostic done etc! He proceeded to ask BY WHO and I said Does it matter If I told you you wouldn t know them ! He then told me that they weren t going to touch my car if I wasn t goin to pay for a diagnostic. And GOOD-LUCK and hang up the phone in my face! I shouldn t have to pay double for something because you say so when I already know what s wrong with my car. The diagnostic is $150 that s pointless to tell me the same exact thing. He was very rude and had very poor customer service. I was actually referred to this location by a friend and it left a very terrible taste in my mouth and will never attempt to patronize another Midas location. If I the customer wanted to put 50 parts on my car without diagnostics it s my money my choice I shouldn t have to argue with RICHARD about how I spend MY money! TERRIBLE BUSINESS! 0/10 Recommend! Will definitely be blogging about this one!

What a great experience I had here! Richard really came through for me! When I walked in I saw they had a picture of an employee of the month and I knew that I was walking into a company that cares not only about their service but their people too.David was great as well and my whole experience was fantastic.Thanks for making my car safe again!

They get 0 stars for one simple reason! The First and only red flag you need from a company is one who refuses to quote you a price of a part over the phone! I called to price some rotars, gave the man my car info and he told me I need to bring my car in for a free brake inspection. I told him I did not need to do that to be priced for a part. He insisted he could not quote me a price without it and I hung up in his face! The lies that ppl will tell you. And just reading other reviews in regards to this same problem says a lot! Midas the Greek god was a god of greed! This place reeks of it

I have been going here for years now and I can't believe I haven't left them a raving review yet. I have an older car that tends to have issues that come up without much of notice. Every time I bring my car here they are accommodating, friendly, and are quick to fix any issues with my car even when their garage and parking lot are packed with customers. I have to also shout out Jessie at the front desk who is attentive and has fantastic customer service skills. On Saturday, my tire blew. I called them up and they were ready to see me and get my car fixed. When they didn't have the tire in stock, they ordered it right then and there and were able to fit me in on my lunch break on Monday. I kid you not, for a tire replacement and an oil change, I was in and out in less than an hour! Thank you for everything Midas! You are always my go to!

I trust this Midas team. I have an older car, a 2004 Camry, and they keep it running safely for me. I never worry that they are upselling or charging for unnecessary work. Honest, hardworking, knowledgeable team!

I had a tire blow out and needed it replaced ASAP as I had an appointment in the upstate I had to make. I showed up at 8am and they staff had me on the road in about 30 minutes! Everyone was so nice and helpful and I ll definitely return, if needed in the future.

It's amazing the difference between the Millwood st midas and the Cayce shop. These guys and gal are very professional. I recommend this shop. Stay away from the Cayce shop. They don't know what they are doing.

On January 3, 2018, I was traveling from New York to Florida with both of my adult children and two dogs, when our car's exhaust system began making rattling noises. We exited the interstate in Columbia, SC and stopped at a Goodyear store, which recommended the Millwood Avenue Midas Shop. Even though the shop was extremely busy that day, Frank and Joe invited us all in, and within an hour they had the car examined. Within another hour we were back out on the road! No appointment, and with a snow storm barreling down on SC, they got us in and safely back on the road in under two hours! They made us feel welcome, and even allowed our two small dogs to come in and stay warm in the waiting area while the car was being taken care of. I cannot give a high enough recommendation to accurately express their fairness, compassion, and kindness to travelers in a stressful situation. They are an AWESOME bunch of folks!
