Came in today cause I needed my tire checked. Kevin helped me out. Even though he gave me the bad news that I would need a new tire, he was very kind. Whole process lasted a little over 30 minutes. They are quick, professional, and offer great service. Kevin is an exceptional worker so go see him and the rest of the crew at Marvis!

When I called the customer service representative made a sweet deal on new tires. I got there and the service was fast! Highly recommend Mavis, this is the best tire shop & customer service I ve gotten so far in Columbia, SC.

I was traveling on a Saturday afternoon from Charleston to Charlotte via I-26 and I-77. Approximately half-way between Charleston and Columbia SC I experienced a catastrophic tire failure. I put on the temporary spare and immediately got back on the interstate and started looking for someone, anyone, that could replace my destroyed tire. A dozen calls later - no other tire companies had time to assist me - I reached Anthony (?) at Mavis Tires in Columbia. He was fantastic in every way imaginable. He said to drop by and he'd see if he could repair or replace the tire quickly. Forty-five minutes later I limped into Mavis Tires and they were waiting for me. Twenty minutes later I had a new tire installed, the spare was back in the trunk and I was under way and able to make my Charlotte appointment on time. They were so spectacular in their customer service I might just drive to Columbia SC anytime I need new tires. One of the best automotive repair experiences I've ever had. And I'm nearly 70 years old. If you swing by, ask to meet Tick. Cutest dog ever. Thanks so much Mavis Tire!!!

This place is great! I suddenly got a flat tire so went to Firestone, but they were all booked up so they referred to me to Mavis. Zach was amazing and helped me out immediately. He also gave me my tire coverage for free. My tire was replaced and I was out of there in 20 minutes.

Was driving by town, sadly ended up getting a flat. Reached out to this place due to it being the only shop open and close by on the weekend. Was able to get a spot in right away and my tire replaced quickly with no problems. Workers are friendly and welcoming! Definitely recommend!

Mavis Tires and Breaks on garners ferry is the best auto shop that has serviced my car. The crew is amazing and very very respectful. Drew is a such an awesome person and very friendly! Steven has worked on my vehicle and has done a phenomenal job! I definitely recommend him to service your vehicle! Thank you guys!!

This location is amazing. The staff was very concern about the issue with the hood of my car. Mr. Andrew Pringle did an exceptional job. He fixed my issue within 5 min. I panicked but he made sure I was okay and also gave me advice on what to do next with my car. He was amazing as well as the others there. Thank you all.

I just needed my battery replaced. I had the battery but it's behind the front tire. They got me in quickly and even did a good deal on the labor cost. Great friendly service and fast.

This was my first time here and I must say that I am impressed. The front desk was super helpful and greeted me as soon as I walked thru the door. They were able to get me taken care of right away. Also the pricing is affordable as well. The bulding is very clean as well, which is always a plus. I had been looking for a new place to get my car serviced and I think I found it

Purchased some tires from them less than a year old. I got road hazard on them and all. When I purchased these tires I wanted to get an alignment and they said I didn't need one. I have the paperwork to prove that. One of the tires must have a slow leak in them so I went to get it replaced and they wanted to charge me over 179.00 for a tire that had the road hazard warranty and said it was voided due to wear and tear on the tire due to alignment. I will not buy anymore tires from them anymore bc they refused to honor the warranty on the tire. I also meant to post this review a month ago.

I have had a "nightmare" experience with this company. I purchased a set of tires for my vehicle. First they installed the wrong tires. When we questioned it they said , "our bad" but they are a more expensive tire and didn't charge us extra. This was a lie. They then refused to change the receipt. Bottom line is that they screwed up the sensors on all 4 if my tires and they won't hold pressure. Goes from 43 to 33 in a matter of miles. Second they installed a new set of windshield wipers incorrectly and they both flew off going down 77 in a major rain storm. Scary 3 miles. They were gracious enough to replace them! Ha. Discount Tires fixed my tire issue even though they didn't sell me the tires. We will never go anywhere else. Beware of Mavis!

i paid for a new set of 4 tires, when i arrived home i noticed the tires didn t appear to be brand new as it was communicated to me. a staff member explained before picking up my vehicle that they didn t have some of the tires i needed so they got a few form elsewhere. when i arrived back to show them my dissatisfaction all of the staff were aggressive to me verbally, refused to help me solve the issue, being blatantly rude, one staff went as far to swearing on her children that i was lying about the tires looking as if they were used. the issue was not resolved and the authorities were called leaving me left unsatisfied .

Great experience at Mavis Tire. Staff was great. Installed four tires in roughly 90 minutes. Pricing was better than other places I had shopped. Goodyear sport tires look awesome on my wheels.

First impressions are lasting impressions! Made a great impression!Tire Pressures Light came on. Unfortunately, indicator light does not let you know which tire has low pressure. Took car to Mavis on Garners Ferry Road. Staff was amazing. From the front desk (didn't get the kind gentleman's name) to the gentlemen who worked in the bay area. They looked at ALL of the tires when placed on the lift to see if there were leaks or anything, Thank God, no leaks, all tires needed air. This was done at no charge and took less than 15 minutes! Mavis has gained a new customer.

I came to Mavis because my car had a bad vibration. After checking they told me all four of my tires were bad and what needed to be done. The nice manager saw my expression and went above and beyond to help me. I appreciate him doing what he did for me. I recommend them over and over again. Also the warranty on the tires are worth it. Thank you sir for helping me fix my car that I said was being ghetto.

Overall great experience and awesome customer service. I am not very knowledgable when it comes to cars, tires etc. however everything was explained to me (issue, cost, time etc). There was a guy that helped me out, I think he was a manager, his name is Andrew. great location, fast, clean; will return! :)

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I visited this location for the first time for something very minor. They immediately fit me in and got me squared away! I will definitely return for future business. Note: This visit was made possible because I had an appointment at another location and no one showed.

I have been to this place twice and both visits have been amazing. The first was to get four new tires. They were competitively priced and honestly the best deal in town and the quality was second to none.Just left there about five hours ago after getting my tires rotated and a leak repaired and Kayla at the front counter as well as the on shift manager and technician who touched my car we re all phenomenal. I will definitely continue to come to Mavis for my tire needs.Update as of 21 December...I brought this place back up to 5 stars as Zach is a phenomenal manager and the technician whose name escapes me right now did a great job swapping out the rear brakes on my F150 while also rotating the tires and changing the oil. I will continue to come here for my vehicle upkeep and really appreciate Zach and his team.

I hardly ever leave reviews but this shop definitely deserves it!! I had an amazing experience yesterday everyone was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I would highly recommend to friends and family. They had EXCELLENT costumer services and that s something that stands out to me so i will definitely be returning!! Y all deserve 5 stars and 10/10 if i could.
