I am very dissatisfied with the service my husband and I received. Our Kia was being serviced for a week. The phone attendant act clueless as to when our kia would be ready. When we picked up the Kia it would not start. So the mechanic claimed the battery needed to be recharged. Really???? So the mechanic jumped started our car. When we arrived home we turned the car off. When we tried to restart it the car wouldn't start. So we had to call for road side assistance. Waiting on road side assistance to see if our car will.even start.Don't take your car to Galeana Kia apparently they don't know how to properly service and repair cars. To think we spent over $2,500 on service for a car that won't start?.

I went to get a safety recall repaired, I received a LETTER in the mail regarding the safety recall stating, to schedule an appointment with my nearest Kia Service Center (ASAP). Recall: When a car manufacturer determines that a certain car make and model has a safety-related defect, they issue a recall by notifying the owners about the exact safety issue the manufacturer offers to fix it at no cost to the owner. I called to schedule an appointment. I spoke to a lady on the phone and she seemed annoyed that I was calling to schedule an appointment for the recall(as if I was inconveniencing them). I make the appointment the day comes and (mind you) I have to move some things around which is an inconvenience to ME, to make sure I can make the appointment.I got there and I was not able to drive into the garage because cones were blocking the door. I go inside and speak with a lady and tell her that I am here for an appointment for a recall. She informed me that I just needed to drive directly in front of the door and drive through the garage. I quickly informed her that I could not do that because there were cones there. So, she goes to the service area and asks them about the door. They tell her that the door isn't working(understandable). Well, the service area staff told us that I needed to drive my car to the side door and drive in (the door was open at the time). I get in my car and drive to the side door and it is no longer open. So, I have to get back out and go through the front door. I was just in there minutes ago.I went back in through the front door and stood there for at least 10-15 minutes(could be more) I was the only customer in the service garage. There were three staff members there. One guy was on the phone (got it). Not sure what the third staff member was doing. The second service guy was doing completely nothing. He was looking directly at me and did not speak or anything just stared. The service staff who was on the phone turned around and asked if the other service guy who was not doing anything could help me.He finally said, "Can I help you. I told him I was there for a recall". I gave him my keys. He took my vehicle to the back. He came in and asked if I was having issues with the defective camera. I said No. He then goes to tell me that Kia will not pay for it unless I am having an issue with it. I told him I received a letter in the mail regarding a RECALL. The service guys then informed me that the letter I received was not a Recall just a warning.(Pretty much implying I CAN'T read or comprehend). The letter was warning me, THAT if I happened to have an issue in the future, then bring it in. My brain was just spinning out of control. I simply said ok. Because I KNEW better. The service guy said that he would go get my keys and pull my vehicle around. I said OK. I was so OVER IT, but kept my composure.5 minutes or so later he came in and told me he was "looking at the wrong system." There was indeed a RECALL on the vehicle and they would repair it (at this point, I'm very confused about how you could not see the safety recall the first time, but had the time to explain to me that it was only a warning letter). I asked how long it would take, "he said about an hour or so (the recall letter stated this). If my vehicle was not at least looked at. I was going to leave that service office and call KIA'S CORPORATE office immediately and inform them of my experience. Then make another appointment with the KIA Service Center on Killian Rd. Since it was taken care of, after all of the misinformation. I will just settle with a GOOGLE review. The Moral of the story is... that having GREAT customer service GOES a long way. You can never judge someone on their appearance. You never know who you're dealing with by looking at them. TREAT EVERYONE THE SAME!!!
