Very rude, didnt repair what I asked or anything for that matter and didnt even tell us what was wrong with the car. DO NOT GO!

I stopped in to Joe s Colony Station Auto Repair because I was having an issue with my clutch pedal not operating correctly, and when I say that Joe fixed it, not only was he able to fix it right he also did it pretty quickly too. Joe is a good guy, he was friendly and honest. The honest mechanic shops are hard to find so in my opinion when you find them you hang on to them. This shop is great! I highly recommend bringing your vehicles here. Definitely will be my go to shop for my two vehicles whenever there is a repair or maintenance that needs to be done. Joe and his crew are very efficient and knowledgeable. I feel very comfortable leaving my car(s) in his hands. He will let you know ahead of time what needs to be done and give you an estimate before starting any repairs or maintenance. Great customer service and quality work! I highly recommend!

I drove from Tampa Fl. on Thursday due to the hurricane Irma, my car needed to be fixed before taking a drive out here, but we had to leave for our safety! Before heading back home I wanted to get my car fix, I found Joe online. Called him, he was very nice ! Helpful, once I got there he was even more great!!! Great price. I felt that I could trust him, and he fixed the problem and everything seems to be good! I'm very happy I had chance to come in and meet him and get my service done by his awesome team! They are great thank you so much !!!

My van was at this shop for several weeks. During that time I had a rental vehicle. I'm a carpenter, my van is my livilhood. I needed this van repaired as my other van had a damaged engine. Joe the owner had the problem with the van clearly explained to him enough that he said" no problem, I got connections". This van was parked for almost two years, while I tried to find a part it needed.The part is the throttle body elbow, in that elbow is an air admittance sensor. A shop in Columbia broke one of the bolts that secures this sensor in place, with this bolt broke, the sensor is not fitting correctly and will create a vacume leak, causing the spark plugs to foul and possibly damage the egr system. This part is specific to vans with the optional 5.4 Triton engin, not very common. Joe proceeded to repair what he found wrong ignoring the very issue that had the van parked for so long. He must realize this now and refuses to make the needed repairs. I don't even know all what was done, rotors!, Yes but new break pads? As with most of the work. I'm thousands in debt, and this man has put my ability to have dependable transportation and earn a living at risk. I gave Joe 4 stars, had he been willing to listen about what was wrong and not overreact I would have offered 5. Joe is good people, I just wish I would have gotten repaired what I asked for , it is less than an hour repair when the part is available.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

Joe is a great business owner. We were stranded and he took excellent care of us getting us back on the road. We were on a road trip heading from Tennessee back to Florida and our vehicle gave us some issues. Called Joe and he got us set up with a tow truck, got us right in and back on the road. Super friendly and very honest. Difficult to find these days and wish he had a shop local to me. Highly recommend this repair facility!!!

Mr. Joe is unmatched in auto repair and customer experience. I drove to his shop with no appointment, asking for a mechanic to take a look at my engine that was leaking oil. Mr. Joe would not let me leave in my vehicle in the dire state it was in. He drove me home, stating that he'd have my car ready by the end of the day! Not only did he do just that, he came back and picked me up to get my vehicle - saving me Lyft or car rental fees. And for all that, his cost for the service was fair and lower than I expected! Mr. Joe even washed the vehicle for me too!! He is now my go-to for ANY repair I need to my vehicles. He can consider me one of his loyal customers. If you're reading this, you should choose Joe's Colony Station Auto Repair for the work you need done. You will not regret it!!

Joe is a mechanic you can trust and he is a great person! When I take my vehicle to Joe, I know it will be done right, what needs to be fixed will be (he will not lie to get more money out of you for unnecessary repairs), and his prices are extremely reasonable and fair. In the past, I've always paid a little extra for my car to be serviced by people I can trust, well since I have found Joe's Colony Station Auto Repair, I no longer have to pay more for that trust. Joe is beyond great and my car will not see another shop! Thanks Joe!

Joe's a good cat ! I live up north and my mother lives in Columbia. She has an older car and she wants no car payments. Her car is in good shape but it's a 2005. He's reliable and fair and he keeps her rolling and communicates well with me way up here. Maybe it's that southern housepitalty but I wish he was up here . He knew exactly what was wrong with my car. He ordered the parts and before I knew it, my car was Ready!! Sounded really Good!! I left with A Big Smile!! I was worried about the cost, what was wrong. Very reasonable!!!Thanks so much Joe!! I will recommend Joe to all of my friends!!

Joe is an honest mechanic. I went to a chain store mechanic and they tried to tell me I needed an expensive repair that I really didn t need. I brought my car to Joe for a 2nd opinion and he gave me an honest answer. Joe is my new, forever mechanic! Honest shops and mechanics are few and far between. Joe s Colony is a treasure and I will let all of my friends and family know about my new find!

Took my vehicle to Joe's for a diagnostic test for a second opinion as a recommendation from another technician at another shop. Joe was thorough in the diagnosis and confirmed what the other technician informed me. Joe was professional and honest about how the repairs would be made and the price was fair for what needed to be done.
