After going to several other places in the area I was pleasantly surprised to hear someone do it for an affordable price ( brakes change : pads rotor cylinder and drum).They actually came in under price near 400 dollars what I was quoted elsewhere. The service is fast and friendly and I felt like I wasn't being taken advantage of or price gouged because of my limited knowledge. I will definitely be taking all my vehicles here from now on. I waited a few weeks from my service date for this review and everything is running smoothly.

Hilliards rocks!! I have taken both of my vehicles here for servicing for many years!! They are extremely customer friendly, efficient and quick! I m delighted to see Mike back!! Wonderful company!!

This is the ONLY place I will take my Lexus. Not only are they knowledgeable and are used to the brand, they are so kind, and really go out of their way to look out for the customer. A few times back, there was a part I needed and he could have easily charged me double the price bc it was a Lexus part he found out that a Toyota part would fit just as well, and charged me much less. I appreciated that so much and they always do a phenomenal job on my car. I m so happy and grateful I found them!

The owner, Mike, is one of the nicest people I have ever met! He gives you all of the facts and options that he can prior to working on your car and always calls with an update and an estimate of pricing before doing the repair. The mechanics that actually do the job always do a great job with the repairs, as well. We drive all the way from Hopkins any time we need them because we refuse to take our cars anywhere else!

Wonderful place! They fixed my vehicle in 1 day, and at a fair price! Everything was explained thoroughly and told what to keep an eye out for in the future. Now my car drives like a dream! They have earned a lifetime customer from my family. I most appreciated that I was treated with respect and not "a silly woman" as I had experienced at other mechanics.

I've had my vehicles worked on here since the late 90s. Extremely courteous and professional business. They have always treated their customers with utmost respect and honesty. I've never had problems with the costs of things as well. I can't recommend a much more enjoyable experience like Hillards Automotive! Randy and Mike will take care of you.

Mike and Randy are always pleasant and professional. Extremely knowledgeable, they only repair what needs to be fixed. I've been taking all of my cars to Hilliard Automotive since 1990. I never have never felt taken advantage of for any repair work they have advised. Their prices are very fair. I recommended Hilliards to anyone who is looking for reliable and expert car care. They do everything from oil changes to engine and transmission overhauls.

We have owned several Japanese vehicles that have been serviced over the years by Randy and his team at Hilliard Automotive. Every service was done quickly, and more reasonably priced than going to the dealership.We strongly recommend Hilliard Automotive for convenience, high quality work, and timely service.

Great service and excellent work! Have been taking my vehicles here the past couple years and have never had a problem. They may be a little more expensive than other places but you get what you pay for.

I took my car here for a failed thermostat / temp sensor on the recommendation of a friend. They did a great job at a fair price. Most importantly they worked to squeeze me in quickly so I could get back on the road.

This place is the best. Small business that doesn t try to upsell you for things that are likely fine for a several more routine oil changes. They tell you what you need and charge you accordingly at good prices. Friendly staff, too. I recommend this to everyone I know with car problems.

Unbelievably honest. I went in for an inspection and brake job before a long trip. Mike inspected everything and only did what was necessary. He could have easily done more and charged an arm and a leg. My family will continue to go to Hilliards for all of our vehicle needs.

I will literally never go anywhere other than Hilliard. As a woman who knows nothing about cars, I always felt taken advantage of everywhere else I went to get my car serviced. I trust Hilliard Automotive implicitly with my car, and I know they've always got my best interest at heart. I am always treated as a person and not as a number, and I absolutely love this shop.

They are a bit on the pricy side but the service and quality are worth it, in my humble opinion. They are especially good at Honda and Toyota and have trusted a few cars to them in the many years I have been going to them. I highly recommend if you are in the Irmo/Lexington area.

I dealt with mike through my whole experience at Hilliard Automotive. This business is five stars on all facets of how a business should be run. A+ in customer service, knowledgeability, car repair, and communication. Mike shot straight with me tho whole time. No gimmicks or headlight fluid nonsense. I needed a new clutch, and they did just that for a a fair price. If you re looking for a go-to auto mechanic, Hilliard is 100% my recommendation. I won t be taking my car anywhere else unless I absolutely have to.

Mike goes above and beyond to make sure you have all of the information for the repairs needed and suggested maintenance. They never try to get you to do unnecessary repairs. I feel they are one of the most trusted service companies in the area. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
