Stopped by without an appointment to see about a price for tires as I recently had a blow out. To my surprise Brian at the front desk was able to fit me in that day, and took the time to show me that I really needed 4 tires because of steel showing on the others, guess that's why I had a flat earlier . Price was fair and I was out by the time he promised. I will definitely return in the future

I recently went in to get my car inspected the mechanic said they inspect for starters l, batteries and alternators. I took my car in and about a few hours they still didn t find anything wrong with my car. They in fact told me my starter, battery and alternator were fine. A fews days later my car stopped working. I called them back and told them they tell me they don t do that kind of inspection. I then told them why would the kind tell me that they do these kind of inspections but they don t. He told me that the person who told me this is new and they do not do those kind of inspections they only check tires. The only good thing about this is I didn t have to pay!!! Good luck to anyone who deals with these people!!!!!

I wish I had read the previous post from R4ptorBunny about this Goodyear store. From my experience too, they milk money out of you when you come in for one simple repair. In my case, I brought my family member s car in for an oil leak splatter. On that day they called me to state that the car was dripping pools of oil (not splatter) and he man-explained the cause of the drip. (Even though the oil on our garage floor was in a splatter and was possibly due to the oil ring needing to be changed). They gave us a price for the repair and said they would proceed with the repair. Before I could pick up the car, the guy called again and said he see another problem and if I wanted the oil leak fully repaired then I would have to pay more money. I was assured that with this extra money they could completely fix it. We paid the entire amount and picked up the car. Within a 2 week period I notice the same oil splatter back on the garage floor. We cleaned it up and decided to put paper towel under this same area in order to be sure that the oil was yet leaking and by how much. The same splattered continue, so I called to make another appointment for this same problem. After taking my car in again for the same problem, I later get a call stating that the oil problem is now from a different source, and I would now need to pay more money for the repair. Then the guy adds a second problem and tells me that I could get that repaired also with even more money. Even though I am aware that I will be paying for the same oil problem twice, I make an attempt to be fair with him and ask that he go ahead and fix this extra problem that they found and not charge for the oil problem as this is the second time, I brought this car in for the same thing. When deep down I know I was being milked and had given them money for something that was never repaired in the first place. He gets snippy with me and gives me the old song and dance of I got employees I got to pay and I can t just give free service. Well, this is where I drew the line, despite his not taking responsibility for work they did not do, he then insults me to insinuate that I am trying to get free service. Free? No, I only want what I paid for. When I look at my first bill, I also notice that they charged me for a tune-up on the car, which I did not ask for. Only the oil leak problem. When I call later to get the matter resolved, they then twist things around to state that I said the first so-called repair cause the problem for the second oil leak. I never said that. They then blamed it on the car and stated that the car is old and that it makes sense that it would continue to have the same problem after a repair. But in the same area within a 2 week period? That s just too much of a coincident and too convenient for them. They advise that I take the car to another Goodyear for a confirmation of the other store. Really? Who s going to pay for my gas to do this and who is going to cover me from work while I take time to do this? So, I have this same oil leak in the same place that I have paid Hundreds of Dollars for and a tune up that I did not ask for.I was told that someone (supervisor?) would call me to go over the matter again. At this time, I have not gotten that call. For those that read this, don t say you have not been worn. I am not just some bitter customer, as with you, I work hard for my money and deserve to get what I paid for. I now have to find another auto repair to fix the oil problem that I paid Goodyear (hundreds of dollars) to do.

Called to get a quote and the tech was rude. I inquired about a price for service and he kept saying "I would have to look it up" but never asked for what he needed to look it up. He gave me an estimate of what he thought it would cost and said "It not like ordering a pizza". I was just asking for a quote. That was rude.

I would rate this place zero stars if I could. I brought my car in for service on the A/C and got a long rant about how they weren t able to fix it because it would take too long and my appointment was for too late in the day. Then I brought it back the following morning and was told I should have waited another week before coming back in. At that point I decided to go to a different mechanic who got the issue fixed in about 90 minutes and charged it to the dealership under the warranty.

This was my first time visiting. I've been a loyal customer for 16 years at another tire company.Brian, and the employees at this establishment made my day so much better. Let's just say I'm totally locked in to Goodyear now!

I'm sure they probably do tires well.As for any other work on your car, I wouldn't recommend them. My car has been back there multiple times for an overheating issue and it's still not fixed after 4 or 5 visits (first they say it's the hoses, then it's the water pump, then it's the hoses that they supposedly fixed the first time....lather, rinse, repeat)I also had them replace control arms on my car for a creaking noise, and had to return twice because they apparently didn't tighten everything and it was creaking and popping and making noises while driving as parts shifted around (which it is now doing again).I will never take any of my cars back here, especially after maxing out my Goodyear card JUST for them to not fix any of my issues.Wasted time and $$$$$!

We had an excellent experience when we had a flat tire on a Saturday morning. Over the phone and then in person, Joy was helpful and clear about our options to repair the tire or replace the pair of tires on our Jeep. She explained the options and gave a recommendation without being pushy. We decided to replace the pair of tires and the staff got the work done quickly so we got our vehicle back by the end of the day. Based on this experience, we ll definitely return for tires in the future. Thank you for such good help!

Easy appointment, work done efficiently, price very competitive. Much better than going to a dealership for routine maintenance and repair.

I absolutely recommend this companyI went here to get my brake booster fix. My warranty company put me in for a rental but due to that weekend it was sold out because of Presidents day. The gentleman at the front desk was able to get my part in the same within 30 minutes. I was in there for 2 hours including when I walked out. I still given customer service and I appreciate it.

The manager (BD) on the morning I went in needed an attitude adjustment. Seems to be quick to reply before you even get out your question. Doesn't appear to be a morning person and dealing with the public, you may want to adjust that TUDE because I'll give it back. I will not deal with him again if he's there when I go. Never had an issue with none of the other managers. David, Michael and Cameron are always pleasant and they LISTEN before responding. They have never been aggressive since I've been a customer. I will not deal with him again!!

Normally enjoy my experience with this location. This time they admitted that if I had asked the right questions they would have advised a different and less expensive repair. They fixed what I thought was the problem and I was wrong. Surprised they didn t offer guidance.

They have really gotten a good team. The manager is firm but you just have to know he means no harm. Don't make apts online...computer may put 6 people at the same time. I made my appointment and they were done in less than a half an hour. I have taken all my cars here and the guys who work their are fun, friendly, and get the jobs done. Give them a chance if you have not been in a while.

This Goodyear on garners ferry is a godsend. They really care and respect their customers like no other. My car has never ran so smoothly and it's because of their exceptional work. They really cared for my car like it was their own and treated me like family soon as I walked through their door.

I had a a leak in my tire on a Sunday morning. I arrived at the Garner s Ferry store and met two great men - David and Travis - who examined and repaired my tire in less than an hour. David gave me great advise about when tires would need replacement and best tire to meet my requirements! I am very grateful to David and Travis for their professionalism. Waiting room was very clean.

I have had a great deal of work done to my Interceptor and although the prices are high, the work is usually done same-day and comes with a high quality warranty. I can enjoy having my car worked on here. There has been a great improvement.

They are an exceptional group of people. I had a flat tire and was stranded in Colombia. They don't carry trailer tires and I had to search for one locally. They watched my stuff and helped me with locations to where I could find what I needed. They helped every step of the way; always polite and courteous. Thank you guys

This place is awesome! I needed an alignment and oil change for my custom built turbo car. Needless to say I am very particular about where I take it to. I spoke with the Manager and he addressed all of my concerns right off the jump! The tech pulled the car in almost immediately and began changing my oil. The Manager and I walked the car to discover any issues before they attempted an alignment. I even watched as the tech used a digital torque wrench to tighten the drain plug. He was very detail oriented and extremely professional. If you are weird about your cars like I am, then you should definitely consider taking your ride here. Ask for Big Dave, tell em Teddytuned sent ya!

Bought 4 new Goodyear tires at a different location (not garners ferry) in Columbia, and a few days later, I had a bubble in one of my brand new tires. I was told at this other location that they would not inspect my tire because they believed that I impacted something due to the fact that there were scratches on the hubcap near the bubble. The hubcap scratches were from an old impact years ago, so I asked them to still take the tire off and inspect it to confirm impact after which I will gladly pay for a new tire, but they would not. Instead I was repeatedly told that I "should have bought the road hazard protection".I called the Garner's Ferry location and told them what happened at the other shop, and the staff here immediately set me up to bring my tire in to confirm whether or not I had impacted something to cause the bubble or if it was a defect in the tire. They took my tire off and inspected it and determined that the tire was indeed defective and that there was a molding issue with it. They replaced it free of charge and had me in and out of the store in an hour. The staff were very professional and understanding and I would highly recommend them.

I went to Goodyear to get a tire patched a few months ago. They noticed that I had new tires which were not purchased from Goodyear but that's because I don't wish to overpay for average tires when I can get the best for the same price. Anyway, they told me that the tire couldn't be patched and would have to be replaced. I went to a small shop and had the tire patched the next day and still have no problems. I only went to Goodyear to see if they were reputable enough for me to use going forward and they are not reputable. I been around mechanics my entire life and was floored by some of the lies they told the under-informed consumers. This review basically questions the honesty of this Goodyear but is not meant to condemn all of them; you should review what they tell you before committing to have it repaired.

In the last two months have used this Goodyear location- once for four new heavy duty tires for my Class B RV van and most recently to take advantage of the free brake inspection for same vehicle. Was treated cordially and fairly and the work was done promptly. Will go back again.

I use to like this place very much until today, and when I had my last oil change. I asked for the high mileage oil change, and asked if it consisted of the 10 30. The manager stated yes. So, today I suppose to get the same oil change. On the paperwork it stated 5w30, the manager stated that the used 10w30. So, I asked the tech, he stated that they don't have 10w30. So, really, I could have went somewhere else and paid $30 something, and got 10w30 oil. This is a kicker it supposed to come with tire rotation, but the manager stated that the good tires goes in the back. It is a front wheel drive car so the better tires goes in the front dummy.

When I dropped of my vehicle at 8am for an oil change I asked them to please check to see if my coolent was leaking as well and if I needed to get it fixed. When I came to pick up my vehicle at 4pm that day they said they didn't have time to check my coolent. As I drove off smoke began to come out of my hood. I brought my car to Midlands Motor works in columbia and they fixed it. I'm never going back to good year again. If they don't have time to check for problems with my vehicle then what am I paying them for?

Seriously, these guys are the best! Not even Ford dealership would help me with my car problems. They even fixed a part that was dragging on my car, and I never even mentioned it. I've been a customer with them for about 3 years and I'm never disappointed. Highly recommend!

I am going to put this here because these guys are my husband and I s go-to when we are having car issues in town.A year or so back during the hurricane season my husband got a flat and managed to make it with fix-a-flat to refuge in Columbia just in time for the fix-a-flat to give up: approx 170 miles from home. Anyway, we had the car towed to Good Year for service and within the day they were able to change out his tire.Just this past weekend I had finished work and was about to drive home the 170mile drive when I found a nail in my tire on inspection. Mind you I had to be at work the next day and couldn t afford another overnight stay in Columbia. I also did not want to risk it for the biscuit and chance a flat on the way back. After calling to another Good Year for them to tell me they couldn t see me that day, I called these guys up and they said they could work me in. They fixed my tire and got me back on the road within a matter of hours! These guys are amazing and I would highly recommend, especially for emergent car issues.
