The sweetest man helped me an my husband today and he did not have to! Helped us figure out what was wrong with our car and although he couldn t service us, he helped us load my car onto trailer and gave us helpful tips! White haired man, thank you for your service!

I took my 1998 Cadillac there a couple of days ago for an EVAP issue and my car was having a lagging issue. It took me forever to get anyone on the phone for a status, because no one answers the phone there during business hours. A new gas cap was put on my car which is good, but the owner, D, was very unhappy because he said he would have to "eat the cost" of it. Well, it would only cost me $10 at the auto parts store any way. I was also told that I needed a tune up and that was the main issue. Turns out it was just a #5 misfire, which could have been fixed by itself. But the owner swore to me that just couldn't be done. Instead of a $200 job to fix the misfire, it would have been up to $700-$800 for a tune up. I told the owner I was not paying for that so I picked up my car today. The owner was very rude about it and told me to pick up my car and I feel very disrespected as a woman. I would have been treated differently if I was male. Plus, when I went to pick the car up, no one could find my repair report. Go figure! I will never go to this repair shop again and I would not recommend it! I'll go somewhere else from now on! Jerks.

My vehicle was lacking power and it was acting as if the converter had failed or some vacuum component was not working. Anyway, it turned out the spark plug wires were incorrectly connected. Go figure -how did that happen? A questionable shop could have added all sorts of work that needed to be completed - but not D's. They put it on the diagnostic machine and correctly wired the plugs - less than $100.00 for their time and machine which is more than reasonable. Kudo's to D's for integrity and honesty!!!!! I have a new shop to go to!Service: General repairs & maintenance

These guys do great work. This shop has GREAT DEALS! They are honest and very humble! I love the guy at the front desk. As you ring up he will school you on car stuff you should know. I learn new stuff at the check out every time I go. I am so excited my fiance' and I found a great new place to take our cars. Please us this shop!! I would give them 10 stars if I could.

These guys know what they're doing you can feel the wisdom and experience in the car game that they have the owner is a very awesome and gentleman but not to be taken lightly the guy that works in the front very nice very cool and those guys get the job done they did my oil change there was one item that I needed they help me purchase the item do everything I needed to do no stress involved I would recommend this to anyone especially since I am not an easy person to deal with when it comes to cars and prices and mechanical issues these guys are awesome and they know what they're doing thanks again Ds Automotive

My advice is to keep looking, there are no deals here. I was charged 20 dollars for a tech taking two minutes of his time to look at tail light and then told my little hundred dollart part install would cost 400 to fix with a straight face.

I called Ds Automotive that morning to explain my Starter went out on my 2006 Honda Element, he was very helpful, when I called he provided me with a tow company that could bring my car to him, and explained that he would have my car complete by the end of the day, I was hesitant as this was a holiday as well, around 5:30pm I got a call my car repair was complete and I could come pick up my car. I am very pleased and happy with his service and he was excellent and explaining what he had done and if any issues that he saw in the process of the repair that was complete. I would recommend this repair shop to anyone and will use him in future if needed. Thanks !!!!

My brother has been coming to see Mike for some time so I was there with a suspension problem, especially because he is so close to where I live. The reviews speak for themselves! A previous shop had quoted me $900 for new front struts. Not only did he quote me about $300 less for the same repair, but he properly diagnosed that all I needed were control arm links, a grand total of $225! I can't begin to imagine what would have happened if I had paid the previous shop $900 for something that wasn't even a problem. True experts speak for themselves, I would recommend D's to anyone for an honest assessment and pricing!

We were in town for my brothers graduation from Fort Jackson. 5 hours from home and having car trouble, I turn to Google for help. Based on reviews and location we decided to give them a call. They said bring it in we 'll take a look. The man took a ride came back about 20 mins later and said nothing happened. These guys knew we were from out of town and could have picked that old van apart piece by piece and charged us an arm and a leg. Instead they charged us nothing and said if it starts acting up again just bring it on back. Honesty and integrity goes a long way. I am totally impressed with these guys and highly recommend them for anyone who finds themselves in my situation. We made it home yesterday without any trouble at all. We still don't know what was wrong with it but we aren't broke!!

They could not take even 5 minutes to simply test our alternator just to see if it was the problem so we could get the part and fix it ourselves. They were willing to leave people stranded out of state without the means to have a place to stay and charge us everything we had making sure that we wouldn't have made it home. Thank god for Midas

We lost our trailer on behalf of negligence of the Uhaul around the corner. Michael came out to assist us and asked nothing in return. His actions reflect a trustworthy shop I would recommend to anyone

These guys are honest, fast, and best pricing. My charger sat for 8 months and was having some electrical issues (of course) and the team did a phenomenal job getting her back up and running like brand new.

Terrible customer service. Workers with terrible attitudes. I would not recommend anybody to go there again. I am a 19 year old kid and the worker just flat out disrespected me. Very out of pocket and one of the workers could tell he was. Dont have names. The white hair guy hurt my feelings with disrespect when other guy was just trying to help me.

My Hyundai Sonata needed a new fuel pump and I spoke to Dwayne on the phone about the parts and labor. He was extremely helpful in providing me a quote. I will certainly have future servicing done here given the great customer service!

Mike did a great job diagnosing my cars issue and getting it repaired all in one afternoon. And that s with him having to go pick up a part elsewhere. Great customer service.

Brought two cars here on separate occasions, and both times all the guy could do was shrug his shoulders and tell me he couldn't find anything wrong with it. Granted, he didn't charge anything for the second car, but it's frustrating when you take a car to a mechanic and he has no answers.

I've never been so impressed! Mike, Dwayne, and the whole team at D's were absolute lifesavers for us! My boyfriend drove to SC from Wisconsin for military ordres (15 hours away) to have his car breakdown. While he was unable to communicate while on base from 530am-600pm, I was able to coordinate repairs over the phone with the most understanding and wonderful staff I've ever worked with! We were quoted $6,000 at a Chevy dealership, but everything at D's cost less than $2,000!! Mike even stayed late at the shop so my boyfriend could get his car after being released in the evening! Angels. I have no idea what we would have done without their help. VERY highly recommended!!

I had my suv towed with understanding diagnostics to be done 1st. for problem ...gota call of problem alongwith offer to change oil ( added pricing)...I was told need a hose replaced get suv running again ...Repairs & oil change & lite diagnostic(? of which I couldn't retrieve a copy(?)....Services done b4 lunchtime..Paid over $400 !! To retrieve my vehicle same day...THEN Returned to show HOT AIR from AIR CONDITION VENT !!..NEXT DAY...With dissatisfied attitude from (owner)? Got in my suv saying adjustment of vents & its a very hot day give a chance....ai was APPAULLED...To this day STILL HOT AIR FROM MY AIR CONDUTION WHICH WAS WORKING FINE B4 I CONTRACTED D'S AUTOMOTIVE

great service had a great time the team was very nice and explained everything down to the T. Did not take very long, not cheap service, or costly but good service none the less. went in for a belt change and tension inspection on1998 ford taurus just needed the belt right at 100 buck service time was a hours plus but it was worth the time because afterwards he explained the part and how the entire system works to me and it was very helpful. i given sound advice on future car problems, i'm never dealing with shady tree mechanics again they told me my tension and pulleys where bad but D' automotive told me real problem and fixed it for much cheaper it was jus the belt.

D's automotive has fast and friendly service, and they will tell you if your car issue is simple and able to be resolved outside of the shop. They are honest and don't try to push you into some expensive fix that you don't need or can do yourself.

I can't say enough good things about this automotive repair shop the honor is extremely reasonable he tells the truth and hes not out to rip you off like many of the repair shops that I visited in the past I highly recommend coming and checking him out he won't steer you wrong and he'll tell you exactly what it is that you need and nothing more..

Went in for a diagnostic and got nothing but an attitude from the mechanic. Was so told that they would shoot compressed air into the vents to try to clear out a clog, but instead all they did was pour water in the drain. Didn t attempt to clean it up and said you gotta take it to a body shop . Horrible customer service and a sorry mechanic.
