I was very pleased with the service.If it was not for Matt Service Advisor..Tony the transmission builder. And all other Techs. My Cadillac would haveEnded up in the salvage yard.Instead I am driving my car around .withEverything right back in place.and drivesLike a new car...Several places turned me away...Cottman. Said lets .make it happen..

Took my 1933 Ford truck because the transmission was not shifting properly. This company handled it with kid gloves and where very fast and found that the vacuum line was not on they placed it back on and tested the transmission and had it back to me quickly. Thank you guys for such excellent service and customer relations.

I took my Challenger to Cottman to have issues figured out that a prior shop created.I dealt with Matt Hancock from the beginning and he was very peofessional and told me that they could fix it. He kept me updated throughout the entire process.Ended up having to replace the clutch and some other parts. Got the car back today and she shifts smooth as butter now. Couldn t be happier with the results.Will definitely come back and would highly recommend.

Extremely professional. Explained everything simply and supplied pictures to show issues. No pressure on what to fix or not. Easy transaction. Very automated made paying and diagnosis a breeze. Telephone conversations were always pleasant, professional and complete. Strongly recommend these guys if you are looking for a trustworthy place to get your car fixed.

The service advisors were knowledgeable and kind. I had a very thorough diagnostic on my vehicles. They included pictures in the report which I appreciated. The price was fair. I will continue to take my vehicle there for service.

Everyone was helpful, professional and polite. They gave me a ride home. Matt identified the problem quickly and fixed it promptly. I had been to 3 different mechanics who told me there was no problem, or they wouldn t touch it or they wanted to do expensive work that would not have fixed the problem. Very pleased.

We received great customer and mechanical service! We received a diagnostic from another shop stating we needed some transmission work complete, however, they took the time to conduct a thorough inspection which was videoed and found what the issue really was. They were honest instead of charging us for something that wasn t needed!! Great shop!!

Thank you Cottmans transmission. I loved my experience starting from Frank through Liz picking me up at my home to pick up my car at the shop . Car shifts beautifully and brakes function perfectly as well . I will be a customer for life .

Everything is running just fine now with my son's Chevy truck. So glad Cottman's was able to fix a skip in the transmission that even the Chevrolet Dealer couldn't figure out (according to my Dad). Also, it was good to get a tail light assembly and a side mirror cover replaced. Good work guys.

Great service great people working there extremely helpful this was my second experience with them quoted me at having the work done by Monday and surprised me and had it done two days early. They really went the extra mile to get me my vehicle back as soon as possible. Frank is the man.

READ THIS!! Sometimes times thing just go wrong for a lot of different reasons. My visit went sideways in a hurry. An old saying is, "people aren't judged by the mistakes they make, but they are judged by how or what they do about their mistakes. Cottman offered to make my situation right by coming back in. The issue was resolved without delay and a full refund was issued to me. I can't remember the last time that happened. Cottman's cares enough about their reputation to go all the way for their customers. I will return again the next time I need service because I know it will be quality service.Service: Transmission

Thank you to the guys that did the work on the transmisson you are the real MVP's. Cottman has a customer for life with me. I'll be by in a few weeks to get my spark plugs, wires and fuel intake done. I may be by there to install my low beam headlights lol! Thank you thank you!

I recently had Cottman Transmission and Total Car Care rebuild my failing rear differential after taking it to two other companies, who both had little interest in my concern. I then saw Cottman on the internet, and took it there expecting the same treatment. WOW, was I pleasantly surprised! I shared my concerns with Frank, who listened intently, taking notes of each detail, and gave me an estimate of the repair if the diagnosis confirmed the problem (it did). We scheduled the repair, and I signed off on each step before the repair was started.While underneath, the technicians found that my driver's side exhaust manifold had two bolts broken off. Frank said that when the engine was cold, the escaping exhaust could make a "ticking" sound. I told him I had heard that sound, but assumed it was a lifter going bad. They fixed it, and NO SOUND!All the work came in as estimated, and I couldn't be happier with my experience! I strongly recommend if you need any work done on your vehicle, go see these folks. I know I will!

Needed new or rebuilt transmission for my 2014 infinity QX80. Had about 275,000 miles and didn t want to sell yet. Love that SUV! Cottman gave me a fair price to rebuild. Always kept me up to date on progress and time to completion of job. Had a small but persistent issue after repairs completed and they quickly took care of it without any additional charges. Car runs better than it ever has. I found their service excellent and their prices fair. Definitely would recommend for transmission work and will use them again.Service: Transmission repair

These folks are great! My transmission quit on a recent trip. My usual garage said the diagnostic code usually means a new transmission, which my internet search confirmed. Cottman investigated, replaced a transmission solenoid for about $300 p&l, which also cleared mystery engine codes and the "service engine" light that my usual shop couldn't resolve. I had them do other needed work as well. My 20 year old Honda Odessy van has never run better!

I have used Cottman in the past. I went to Cottman after another shop told me my issue was the transmission. Cottman did an additional diagnostic and determined it was not the transmission at all but two plugs fouling. They made the repairs and saved me thousands over a transmission repair.
