10/5 is all I can say about my experienceI do most of my own repairs and maintenance but I would not hesitate to have the guys here at Complete Car Care handle anything I do not want to tackle.This visit was thankfully just an alignment. While their printer want working at the time they took photos to show me my exact specs for the alignment were handled perfectly.My car is semi-low being a 2003 Corvette on coilovers so it's not the easiest thing in the world to get on/off a rack.This shop does have some ramp extenders to easily get the car on/off without scraping the body.The front air dams scrape everything which is unavoidable.The owner even showed me a few of the more interesting cars in the shop at the time & chatted with me for a good bit before closing while my car warmed up.Having an awesome dependable locally owned shop is a blessing.While my friends highly recommended the shop, I understand why. I drove over from Irmo past many other shops and will do it again.

As a business owner, I never write reviews. The rare exception is when someone is honest. I will make the effort because it helps the consumer. I am the father of a USC student and out of State. My daughter's car broke down and they provided advice that was genuine and honest. I can assure you it was not what I wanted to hear, but it saved me a lot in the long run. They were super helpful on the next steps as well. I highly recommend this firm for your needs.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection

Bill, Doug and the whole crew do a great job researching and securing the best parts for the HIGHLY competent mechanics to install. There service all my family vehicles, each with high mileage. The most trustworthy auto repair shop I have ever experienced, you will not be disappointed.

My experience at Complete Car Care was great! I got my car back in less than a day with the problem fixed and at way less of a cost than a chain mechanic like Midas. The locally-owned vibe was there, and I felt very respected and listened to. Every one of my interactions with the employees was professional and swift as well.

Fuel filter change with an appointment took all day and then pick up truck with check engine light on. They say to come back at 7:30 when they open and show up and no techs available. Last visit

Bill usually helps me here. He's consistently knowledgable and trustworthy. I have never felt like Complete Car Care was trying to tack on extra services or use difficult-to-understand lingo to convince me that more work needs done than what's needed. They have worked on my tires, automatic windows, brakes, and assessed problematic sounds I've heard while driving. I feel like my car is safer and ready to tackle big trips after having it serviced here.

Had my car towed to Complete Car Care when I was in a real bind. The staff gave me an accurate quote, finished the work quicker than I expected and had me back on the road in under 1.5 hours after I had the car towed there. Great job! My Daughter is a senior at USC and found that her car would not turn over. With us living 2+ hours away I called this location and they towed her car to their location. Not only did they replace her starter on her car which was a very in-depth procedure they also replaced her front brakes and rotors. And had her back on they road that afternoon. They also communicated by phone when the car came in and with the diagnoses and with cost , step by step . It was a wonderful experience to deal with this company. Definitely recommend to all who have kids attending USC. They were Awesome Services: Engine repair, Auto brake replacement

Bill and the guys do truly great work here my father owns and runs his own shop in Maryland and after moving to the area 3yrs ago I was skeptical about finding a place I can trust. Always polite knowledgeable and fair pricing for good quality work. I called and had my car towed the next day. They replaced the starter and charged the battery. I was able to pick up my vehicle before they closed that day. I have had cars in the shop for weeks! They called me and informed me of the price. My receipt was a little higher because I didn't see the sign that stated there was an extra fee for paying with a credit card. I would not hesitate to contact them should any other issues arise.

I had an emergency early Monday morning. Upon arrival they were booking four days out. They gave me the option to leave the car and may potentially get to work on it. They were able to get my car in within 24 hours and have my car back on the road that next day! These guys are trustworthy people, which is hard to find in an auto shop these days.Service: General repairs & maintenance

My transmission was not performing properly and they replaced in a very prompt and professional manor and all is working great now.D an was is an excellent mechanic and explained all issues and remedies thoroughly. Excellent place! They are always so helpful and keep me updated on what's going on with my car. I don't really have a comparison because I have no idea how much car things cost but I've never felt cheated or anything and I'll probably continue to go to them until I move away.

We have used CCC for multiple cars for more than ten years. They stay busy, and that's generally for good reason, but the last experience was a letdown. Took an SUV in for a spark plug change... despite it requiring hours of labor to access, no mention of leaky gaskets. My husband had forgotten to note that concern but what garage doesn't suggest work? (My particular car's engine is a nightmare to access... so if you're in, you're already in deep.) Worse, when I picked it up, my dome light flickered a lot. Before I even made it halfway home. I recorded it and called them. I'd soon find out my dash would go out too. They kept the car for a week but said they couldn't replicate. They suspected the dimmer switch but they couldn't replace that since the car's an 04. The dome flickers during daylight. It's still a problem and I noticed some acceleration issues with some noises that weren't there before. Plus one of the rubber terminal covers to my battery was gone. I didn't drive the car much because the flickering/blackouts were a safety concern. Despite not driving it much, I found a massive coolant leak when I checked fluids. Instead of going to CCC, we took it to a place out in Chapin. That hose replacement also required engine access, which. Fine. It's fine. New garage noted the gaskets & communication was excellent. Given the spark plug change cost $1200 at CCC and the service for the gaskets and the hose replacement cost less at the other place... The other place was just as busy as CCC, too, and yet. World of difference.Service: Auto maintenance

Complete Car Care is old school in the best kind of way. Friendly, proficient and trustworthy, and fair prices. They've successfully completed any job I've needed, from routine maintenance to installation of parts and accessories. Best mechanic I've ever been to, truly. Will definitely be returning and highly recommend. Could never have imagined I'd be writing a five star review of a mechanic! Honest, friendly, down-to-earth guys here. I've tried a number of mechanics since I moved here three years ago, and most have left me with a bad taste in my mouth, were unfriendly or hard to work with, or left me feeling taken advantage of. Not so with Complete Car Care. And I forgot to ask, but it seems to be a family business which to me is huge bonus. Thanks guys! Bill especially was extremely helpful.

I've had great experiences with this garage. Doug has always treated my cars (wife, kids etc) like they were his own. I trust his judgement and he helps me make smart $ decisions. If you are not sure who to trust, trust Doug at Complete Car Care. I do, and have for many years.

I am still eternally grateful to the great Columbia artist, Mary Gilkerson, who recommended Complete Car Care to me many, many years ago --in 2004. Thank you, Mary!!! Doubtlessly, Complete Car Care is THE best car repair shop in all of Columbia!!! Bill, Patrick, and all the wonderful car mechanics are SUPER knowledgeable and VERY, VERY helpful!!! They are always ready to help and accommodate their customers. When new parts are needed, they go out of their way to find the best deal for their customers, and they explain whatever is wrong or needed even to those of us who are not mechanically inclined. I am still driving the same 1995 car I drove on my first visit to Complete Car Care, and I have no doubt that it is thanks to them that the car still runs smoothly ... even all the way from Columbia, SC, to Ann Arbor, MI, and back!!! Thank you, Complete Car Care, from the bottom of my heart! Here is to many more years of a superb mechanic-customer relationship!!!

Nice people -- but I took my car here twice to be diagnosed by them, and I believe they did their best. However, about a week after the first visit the engine light came on. I took it back and asked for every single thing to be checked to avoid having to return again -- they did some work on it and I was "rolling" again. I was concerned that something was going on with my engine, which was the initial reason for my visit -- I trusted their expertise, and had them do work for me TWICE. Well fast forward to now, my car was still showing the problems that I thought they fixed =/. I took it to another shop that did an very detailed diagnostic and they found problems with the engine that.I'm concerned that Complete Car Care overlooked the issues initially even after 2 visits.

Wonderful service and wonderful communication. Ready and willing to explain everything and let the customer make the choices. They stand behind their work and will go out of the way to make sure you're satisfied and that you understand everything.You pay full price but the expertise is worth it; I've been using Complete for all five family vehicles for over 10 years, and have never had the same repair done twice. They have also given me great service and advice on fleet vehicles.Call ahead because they're very popular.
