Talked with Basil made an appointment to have my headlights adjusted on my 2004 mercury marquis. They took me in had never done business with them before but I was in and out in 30 minutes. Had called four other places before them even some that I have done business before And did not want to mess with adjusting headlights. When I need service in the future, I am going to check back with Chuck s auto service.

We have been going here for about 5 years. We will not go anywhere else as long as we can. They work hard, they are kind, and honest, and for two young married people 5 years ago, scared to try and find an honest business, we sure got lucky with Chucks. Just so thankful for them.

I'm a true car guy and recommend Chuck's! I went to Chuck's for a dent in my fender. While there, he offered to also clean my extremely foggy headlights with caked on tire marks from a tractor trailer tire that hit me. The fender is perfect and the headlights look brand new. You can tell they truly care and want the customer to be happy. Trustworthy, honest, good prices, quality work.

My go-to place to take my vehicle for everything! Honest, friendly, and trustworthy folks. I know I am getting a straight, fair deal when working with Chuck's. Wouldn't go any other place in the Midlands!

I last used Chuck's six years ago, and vowed never to again due to the poor customer service I received. But maybe I've gotten mellow over the years and I decided to give them another shot. They're in the neighborhood after all.Not a great idea.I drop the car off the night before. I call the following morning and get an older fellow that I presume is Chuck. I start to explain what I want, but he keeps cutting me off. There's another service I ask for and for which I provided the part, but they "don't wanna do that." At that point, I figure I'll just get the things they WANT to do done, then take it over to Mooneyhan's like I should have done to begin with. No ETA, no estimate, no nothing.I call the following day and get a younger guy who is a little more forthcoming and explains they "didn't wanna do" the one job because it would involve taking apart the dashboard and would be around $1k labor, but he'd see what he can do. At least that's an answer. I do get a timeframe for completion, but no cost estimate. Ok.I pick up the car. Pay for it and leave. My CHECK ENGINE light is still on...I dig into the invoice and am met with more surprises:*I asked for coolant change when I spoke to Chuck. This was one of the services I SPECIFICALLY ASKED FOR. But it wasn't done. Nope, not at all.*There are several other services that I didn't request and didn't authorize. Nobody bothered to run them by me at all. Would I have said yes to them? Probably, but it's the principle.*I'm also charged for replacement headlight bulbs although I provided my own.To their credit, they *did* do the job that Chuck initially "didn't wanna do." It wouldn't have been done without me having to be a little assertive when I called on Day 2. It shouldn't have to be that way.Look, what it boils down to is customer service. Poor customer service kept me away for several years prior to this. When I requested services I needed, it feels like Chuck was barely listening (though he was quick to cut me off when I was trying to explain what I wanted). Obviously the coolant change not being performed (while being charged for other services) bears this out as truth. The lack of transparency is incredibly concerning. The lack of being forthcoming about things like timeframes, estimated costs, and additional services doesn't foster any sense of confidence, respect, or trust whatsoever. So yeah, $760 later, no coolant change as requested, and my Check Engine light is still on.Fool me twice, shame on me I guess.

Can t say enough good things about Chuck and the work he and his staff do. Made my junk car drive like new again and did it for less than he quoted me for. Excellent local full car service center with a friendly and easy going owner. Chuck is the man.
