I called 8 different shops until giving Car Doctors a call. 4 of the shops didn't answer the phone, and the other 4 couldn't get me in on such short notice. I had a bad coolant leak on Monday and needed the car back no later than Wednesday.Not only did they fix my issue, they worked with me to enable me to get my car back Wednesday after-hours. The price was also less than what I expected.Needless to say, I am ecstatic with the service I received and how professional and polite the staff are. I will definitely be a repeat customer!Thanks Car Doctors!!!

I know it seems simple, but I really appreciate them helping me last second with a piece of plastic I was dragging. I left work, saw it hanging, stopped in on the way home, and was back on the road in less than 20 minutes. Thanks a million!!

Car Doctors has serviced my cars and trucks for over 20 years. It is hard to find professional mechanics (or others) that you trust. They are true blue. If it needs fixing they can fix it at a fair price. If it doesn't need fixing they will tell you so. I feel lucky to have them. I take my vehicles there before the dealership. Anyone should give them a try. I highly recommend.Jim CopelandPS: Just used today 3/1/24 for a coolant leak on a 97 GMC Siera puck up. They diagnosed the problem, pressure tested the system, ordered the parts and of course fixed the problem for fair price. They are the best!!!

Alan Jeff and their team have done over 15k in major and minor repairs over the years for our family. They have always stood behind their work and charge fair rates. I will continue to have Car doctor be our mechanic for anything we need.

his is hands down the best auto repair shop experience I have ever had. We had a battery issue that turned out to be an alternator issue and boy!, did the Car Doctors take care of us. I was visiting my mom from out of town and the battery light turned on when we pulled off of 77. I called on a Monday asking if they would be able to see us that day because we had to be on the road the same day and they said 'sure! We can fit you in so bring your car in and we will take a look at it.' They we're able to get the parts same day and we picked up our Toyota Highlander 5 hours later.Not only were they quick and attentive, they called to keep us updated on progress and did a courtesy inspection to make sure we had no other issues (we were overdue for an oil change and had bad wipers--both of which we already knew--and they took care of it!). They were honest, upfront about pricing, and guaranteed their work for 12 months.I cannot say enough good things about this business, but they are clearly doing it right and we are so grateful!! Thank you, Alan and everyone at Car Doctors! I hope we only have car issues when visiting in Columbia, because I honestly don't ever want to go anywhere else.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Battery, Oil change

Was very disappointed with my service here a couple of months ago. I ve been looking for a shop that would take care of my older honda. Hard to find, asked to have oil and filter changed also to have leak addressed in my trunk. The filter that was installed was the wrong filter and the car was heavily overfilled with oil. My leak also was poorly addressed and is occurring in the same spots once again. Was very disappointed with my service.

I had a nail in my tire and I was unable to successfully repair it myself because my tool that inserts the plug broke. I decided to try the Car Doctors because of 4.8 out of 5 average reviews. I didn't ask how much it would be, but I assumed the average price of a plug to be less than $10. When they finished repairing my tire and remounted it on my truck, I asked how much I owed. The guy said $35! I was like ARE YOU SERIOUS?!!! Then he asked if I was going to be coming back in the future. LOL! Not likely! On top of that, they didn't even check the tire pressure. Luckily I checked it the next day before I drove it. Otherwise, everything was great. They are all friendly and the place is clean.Service: Tires

I took my truck there to get injectors fixed and went to pick it up for my AC not working as it worked perfectly fine. Well they fixed it an blamed me for getting a service done to my truck for free pretty much. But normally I get a follow up call always from them as I have tooken my truck there a few times. No follow up call after my last visit. I think that's weird

As long as Car Doctors is around, I will never go anywhere else for service.I needed new tires, wiper blades, and basically a complete overhaul on my vehicle 2 days before I had to go on a road trip to Florida. Not only did Jeff and Alan get me in quickly, they also provided me with a ride home and back until my car was done. The price for the services they provided were BEYOND reasonable. This was the best service experience I have ever had and I have even sent my neighbors to them. The mechanics are top notch and they detailed my car to perfection. Thank you Car Doctors. See you at my next service. You guys are the BEST IN TOWN!

Jeff and the entire crew provide first-class service. From his first greeting, Jeff showed me great listening skills and accurate honest diagnostic reporting. I was referred to them from someone I work with and couldn't more pleased with every detail of my experience. I have been in the luxury car business since 1992 and was very pleased to get the type of service I provide my customers.

We recently purchased a used van from a local dealership and wanted to get it checked out by a reliable place. We took it to Car Doctors and we are so glad we did. They thoroughly checked the vehicle and let us know what they recommended. It needed a major tune up and Jeff gave us a very competitive price. The work was done quickly and we were very impressed with the folks at Car Doctors. They will definitely be our choice for future service needs!

I have been taking my vehicles to Jeff and Allen for the last year or so since I learned of the shop. They have both always been very straight forward with me and have always stood by the work they have done. We had 2 warranty repairs done earlier this year and they both went to bat for us with the warranty company to get the repairs done. Jeff and Allen have a way of treating people that makes you feel like you came to your own family's shop. I will continue to take my vehicles to them because they really are the best I have ever dealt with.

Yes the car doctor is a great place for your car to be repaired. Thanks to the front office Mr Allen and all the others. Special thanks to such great mechanics that makes its happen. What a great experience I had at Car Doctors!I was referred to Car Doctors by Mr Donahue of Donahue's Auto and Transmission ( A VERY good business ran by a father and son duo - 6333 Two Notch Rd). The gentlemen at Car Doctors diagnosed the problem, called me to discuss the issue, solution, and the approximate cost and repaired my vehicle in a timely manner. It was all done in a very professional manner. No games. No smokes and mirrors. Just good business.To say I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND these guys is an UNDERSTATEMENT!!! I'm positive I won't be taking my car ANYWHERE else for any maintenance issues.Thank you Mr Alan & Mr Jeff for great experience. Doing business the way it should be.

Alan has been taking care of my cars for over 10 years. He is always honest and upfront about any issues my car as had. I have never had any issues with the work him or his employees have done. If you are in search of a good honest machanic your search is over. Seriously the best service in town. Car doctors S.C. is the BEST!

Car Doctors is awesome they've taken care of our Fleet of work trucks for years, I've had two different personal vehicles in there with them , they always get my vehicle fixed and out quickly. Great service! Two thumbs up!

They are awesome! They educate you on exactly what the problem is they don t try to rob you of your money and time.If they feel like a service is something that someone better would be able to assist you on they will refer you to that service provider! Overall good people providing good service. They spoke with common sense and seem like genuine people. Just like their mission they do take pride in their work and they have knowledgeable technicians that know their stuff . I would recommend them to anyone.

I have used dealerships and other mechanics in the past for routine and preventative maintenance because they are the so called experts. I went and saw Jeff and Alan based on multiple reviews and word of mouth. They gave me a quote for service, called to discuss, got my feedback and exceeded expectations once again. Its a gem tucked away on Calvin Drive off of 2 Notch road, do yourself a favor and go see them. BTW- they also have competitive car detailing rates and quick service.

All I can say is when you are crunched for time and can t get your car to the dealership for an oil change call Car Doctors. They come pic up your car and do whatever service you need and are fair on prices and bring the car right back! Excellent service. Jeff is awesome!

Glad that Car Doctor's is back in good hands. I used them for a synthetic oil change and tire rotation on my 2018 Toyota Tundra Crewmax yesterday. They were quick, courteous and less expensive than the dealership. I'll be using them from now on. Thanks Alan and Jeff for a great experience.

Seriously could not ask for a better experience! I mean what is better than someone picking up your car for service and bringing it back to you! Not only that but for once I felt totally at ease and was not dreading the phone call of a million other pricey things my car needed. Honesty, quality, and convience you seriously can not ask for more. I will never trust anyone else with my car.

Wonderful service, quick repair! THESE GUYS ARE NOT JUST PART REPLACERS!! Got an estimate from two Toyota dealerships when my ABS sensor went bad both said it d be $300+ to fix because they d have to replace the part. Took it here and they repaired the sensor for around $50 instead of charging me for a whole new one. In talking to the staff it s very easy to tell they know what they re doing and they do it well!! I won t be taking my car anywhere else from now on

I've had my car repaired there several times and it was always a pleasure to talk to someone who will not BS you. They tell it like it is and will tell you what's wrong and fix it. if its not right they make it right. GOod communication in telling me what needs to be fixed and doing it right. Highly recommend their services to anyone tired of others telling you something not broken needs to be fixed just to try and make a buck.

Car Doctors has handled service and maintenance on our Volvos for the past 10 years. We were in again for service last month and nothing has changed. Alan and Jeff are two of the most honest folks you ll find anywhere. Their mechanics are seasoned professionals and the shop rates are more than competitive. #1 place to go in Columbia SC!!! It s like taking your car to the hospital with affordable prices, they always take good care of my car & are always fast!!! I love the people there they make you feel comfortable & like you re apart of their family!!! I would recommend this place to anyone!!! They work with you & take great care of you!

My son was experiencing a noise coming from his front tires on his Nissan Titan. Took it to the car doctor at 8am on a Friday morning. They diagnosed the problem as wheel bearing needed to be replaced. Replaced the bearing and the truck was ready by 1 pm. Not to mention my truck has a issue with the battery terminal when we dropped off his truck and one of the MACHANIC came out and fixed that problem on the spot . My sons truck feels like it s gliding Thanks Car doctor.
