I was referred to them by my normal mechanic because he felt he could not complete that repair sufficiently. They had space to get me in right away. They reviewed my problem which was an oil leak. They sourced out the part which was original equipment. And even though it took a few days for them to get the part they gave me a loaner car. They got the job done and the price was fantastic.I was notified throughout the process. The environment is clean and comfortable The shop is also kept clean and orderly. And I have 20 miles away from them. I highly recommend this shop.

I do believe that Brown Motor Works on Clemson Road, Columbia SC attempts to take advantage of women, with bogus prices. I am extremely disappointed in this establishment due to a lack of integrity in handling my sister and her vehicle. My sister was quoted an "out the door" price on a Tuesday, which includes cost for parts, labor, and taxes, but just 2 days later, via a different associate, the total amount quoted (no changes in labor) was more than DOUBLE the original quote. Mind you, she just had a very similar experience with them, about 2 weeks prior, where one associate gave her one "final" price, but another associate, in the absence of the first associate at the time of pickup, told her that her total was almost DOUBLE the original amount.......she went ahead and paid it, but with the intention of taking it up with the original associate, "David" who told her that she was treated unfairly, and he would get her some of her money back, and he did do that, but that NEVER should have taken place. Well "David" was the one who quoted her the cost BOTH times, and once again, WHILE he was absent, the numbers changed. When my sister called to inquire about the promised loaner car, she was then told that any work that costs over $1000 requires a $500 deposit, which is the only way "NOW" she can get the loaner that was promised her so she could get to and from work, but when I asked to see a copy of their policies and procedures stating that, "Trent" could not produce such a policy, and of course he couldn't, because it did not exist. It is Good Friday, and the matter is not resolved because since "David" quoted her the price, but was off today, the matter will be taken up with David on Monday. Before we left there today, "Trent" assured us that the manager "Josh" would give us a call today before closing, and of course, he DID NOT! I will be back with an update and hopefully someone with this company will do the integral thing, but if not, I will make it known.CONCLUSION: Well it's now Monday 4/1 and my sister spoke with "David" and he apologized stating he takes full responsibility for the mix up, so she shared with him that she was told she now has to pay a $500 deposit before they do any work, and he of course confirmed either that there was no such policy, or that he knew nothing about it, so she asked that they pay for her car to be towed to her shop of choice, and he stated that the decision was above his paygrade, and he would need to speak with "Josh" about it. Well Josh reaches out to my sister and tells her that they will pay for the towing "IF" I take down my google review, REALLY???Wow!!!!!!! I don't know if Mr. Huggins is aware of how this place is being run, but if he doesn't, PRAYERFLLY he will see this review and care enough to do something about it. Be it that they are responsible for all of this drama, the least they could have and should have done is to pay for the towing, NOT try to buy my review for the cost of the towing!!! I was really hoping "someone" from the establishment would make this matter right, but all they seem to care about at this point is......a review!

The service department is knowledgeable and does the job. However I booked long in advance and requested a loaner car. I called the day before my appointment to confirm my appointment and a loaner. It was confirmed. When arrived the next day at time of opening they told me no loaners were available. Strike 1. Then when I arranged for a ride so I could get to work, I called later that day to find out my oil change was delayed until the next day. Strike 2. When I called the next day to find out when it would be ready I was told between 1-1:30 PM. When I arrived at 2 PM I waited another HOUR before it was ready. Strike 3. Overall the service is good, friendly people but poor scheduling and time estimates. I may go back but will be more prepared to leave the car and make other arrangements for drop off and pick up.

My experience at Brown Motors was pleasant, and friendly as a matter of fact Brown Motors treated us like family. Brown Motors took great care of our baby aka car. Trenton is a great guy. He comes across as very concerned. He is very empathetic and makes you feel that he is willing to do for you what he. will do for his own car. He is a great asset to your company . You must do everything to keep. Though my car could not be done at your place, I won t hesitate to come back if I need to.ThanksDr. Boateng

The car was in for work that should only have taken a couple of hours but they had my car for a week. Couldnt get anyone on the phone so I had to stop by to get an update. The car was in the same place they moved it to the day I dropped it off. They jumped on it immediately after pointing this out and got the vehicle back to me. I understand it was during the holidays and they were very busy. The work was solid and priced fairly. No complaints there at all. The staff was very nice and apologized for the delays. Giving 4 stars despite the delays because they do such good work.

I had brakes and rotors replaced as well as tires balanced and oil changed. BMW was transparent about the work and did not push any unnecessary updates or additional maintenance that was not needed. They were meticulous in ensuring quality control with their work. I highly recommend them as an option for your Euro Luxery Cars. They even washed the car as well!

Trenton did a very thorough job of keeping me informed throughout the repair process! In addition, I very much appreciated Brown Motor Works assistance with the warranty company in detailing the items that would and would not be covered with the repair. Very helpful!

Terrible service at a high price resulting in more problems than I had when I took my car to them. It now has a leak they cannot identify as their knowledge is limited. Made promises they did not follow through on. Acted like they cared and would get back with me with a resolution. I never heard from them. Somehow this did not surprise me. I would give them zero stars but the default was 1.

Brought my car in, although the service was thorough, I originally left unsatisfied due to the customer service and lack of communication. However, after speaking to the owner, he immediately fixed my issue. I appreciate how prompt he was. Thank you for everything! I definitely recommend coming if you need your vehicle serviced.

My Audi loves them. Brown Motor Works is the best; their customer service is top notch. Trent was my service advisor and he was fantastic. I was kept up to date on the progress of my vehicle and they really pushed to get it done by the time I needed. My experience with Brown Motor Works was phenomenal. It was professionalism from beginning to the finish. They assessed my vehicle, located the issue, and fixed my vehicle in a timely manner. They provided me with a dependable loaner vehicle while my car was being fixed; so I never skipped a beat travelling back and forth to work. Brought in my 2014 VW Jetta SE to be diagnosed for a check engine light. Although the final quote for repairs that was provided to me is relatively expensive (as should be expected for a foreign car), the shop was at least able to quickly and efficiently inspect my vehicle thoroughly in a two-day span. Great experience! Easy in easy out with a fair charge for service as well. Would highly recommend to family and friends. Trenton, the service representative, was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He treated everyone with the same highly respectful attitude that enter Brown Motor Works Northeast. Needless to say, I was overwhelmingly impressed from the moment I enter this place of business up to my departure. In my personal phenomenon, I must say a word(s) about Brown Motor Work, they are SECOND TO NONE AND FIRST IN CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.

My vehicle was diagnosed to identify all issues. I was sent a link to approve all repairs I wanted completed. Trenton was excellent! He corresponded with me and also told me about the snap program to assist if you needed loan assistance! Browns is my forever home for my car repairs and I highly recommend them to anyone! Only downer was my vehicle was left outside a unsecured gate to be picked up. With the raising crime rate this could have resulted in an insurance claim.Service: Electrical repair

Smh..boy they screwed me all the way over! Tell them what you want done but they just do what they want at the end! No communication! I had to go out just to know what the status was on my car! I'll go to the damn dealership before I deal with them again!

I felt like you guys are very good at what you do. I ve had several of my cars worked on by you guys. The thing I noticed was it seem to take longer than usual to get it back. But I m not that concerned about how long it takes as long as it s fixed correctly. As I write this I have another vehicle there as I speak . Horrible experience!! everytime they touch my car something else breaks.. Had my car for over a month...9k paid and mysterious problems keep popping up and they are still not done repairing it. Do not go to the one on clemson rd....

Again I brought my car to Browns for a repeat repair this time on my radiator. Browns had previously replaced my radiator and it started leaking again. I was told the one I had put on previously was not from BMW and that s why it leaked so Browns had to purchase it from them. I waited two weeks for the repair. I asked since they had my car to find out why my heat wasn t working and let me know what it would cost to repair it. Once the repair to my radiator was done I was called and told my car was ready and that my heat was working not ever being told what the fix was for it. Once I picked my car up and left I turned my heat on with the car reaching running temperature the heat still wasn t working. I called back to let the advisor know that it wasn t working and he said that the mechanic said it was working and he would check to see why he said it was working. I then received a call back from the advisor stating that he should have checked it himself before I picked up my car but again never said why or what what supposedly done to fix the heat. He then told me whenever I have the chance to bring the car back so they can see why my heat isn t working. My car was there for two weeks and I stated on the paperwork and I told them to tell what needed to be done to fix my heat. So again not a good experience because I still don t have heat and I can t have my car gone for two weeks again and the issue not be repaired.Service: Engine repair

I learned about BMW from a family member and personal friend. They both raved about the service and attention they received so I tried them ..I was not disappointed! BMW provided exceptional service! The team was very personable, transparent and courteous. They completed the work timely, kept me informed and even cleaned my vehicle before returning! ..I will start taking all my vehicles to BMW going forward .Service: General repairs & maintenance

I came in for an oil change. It took a little while, but really, it s because I came in during a pretty busy time, and didn t have a ride home, so I waited. Wasn t much more than a couple hours.The shop clearly did the work, and my engine was full of oil. Believe it or not, BMW of Columbia didn t do even that.
