I was having trouble cranking my car and took it to Advanced Auto. I was not sure if it was the alternator or the battery. A gentleman name Rob came out and tested my battery for me and did find that the battery was dead. He made sure to let me know that the battery that I had should still be under the three year warranty from Auto Zone and told me I should call them first and see if it s still under warranty because they should replace it. I did call AutoZone and they did confirm it was under warranty. Rob could have easily just sold me a new battery and not pointed out the warranty. It saved me from paying $200 for a new one. It was greatly appreciated! Thank you for the honesty and excellent customer service Rob!

Yesterday I had a great experience at Advance auto.Normally because I'm a girl most stores try to put a fear something bad is going to happen to my car. But I had a guy named Rob who helped me with issue I had. The best customer service I have had in months. Definitely going to ask for him next time.

I called before running by here, was told that they replace batteries if bought by them. I go there and was told only battery they have is 190 with 2 year warranty. I said that s fine. I am then told they can t replace my battery because a message in their system says it would take 45 minutes to replace. I went down the street at speedee and was out in 15 minutes. The worker didn t want to work and had a attitude.

Have to share an encounter with an employee. It was so concerning to me, I contacted their national customer care and was told I d get a call back from the GM or DM , which of course never occurred.The encounter: I usually don t ask for help going to auto store as I have the part number figured out. I m a regular here and each time an employee asks me if I need help as I walk in. Not this day. Instead the employee was putting up signage. I was the only one in the store. I asked for help. He continued with his task for about 30sec more and then walked over to the register. He was never friendly. He wrote on register paper the part numbers and had me go look. First time an employee didn t do that for me. Remember, no one else in the store. I couldn t find the item and mentioned that as he went back to his task. With his back to me he said that I was wrong, it s there. As he continued at his task, I just said you look busy so I ll go someplace else. I wasn t angry because, there are 3 competitors within 1 mile of the store.Well, apparently this got his attention as he suddenly stopped his task and turned and faced me and confronted me about what I said. As he continued to repeat that I am wrong and just need to keep looking for those numbers.A rude employee I can deal with, but a confrontational employee that goes from practically ignoring me to suddenly facing me in anger, is disconcerting. It is why I contacted customer service after I left. But now their lack of response tells me why they hire the people they do.In conclusion, I went to AutoZone, less than 2 miles away, whose store was packed and an employee immediately helped me get what I needed. Advanced Auto lost money that day and recurring money. And based on the lack of traffic in the store they re losing lots of more money than mine.If you dare to go, watch out for the employee that is about 6 feet tall and bald and in his late 20s early 30s. He ll be the unfriendly one that doesn t want to deal with customers.

The staff is amazing. They don't rush you and take their time. Maybe other stores beat the price but they can't beat the customer service and for that I would use their service more

Ok I walked in and purchased some coolant for my AC and I ask the young man black guy can he help me, he said he didn't know how to put it in so he asked his ballhead manger Mr. Perry can he help me that ball headed uncle Tom looked at him and told him what to look for, let me remind you, this place wasn't busy at all. So right after I returned the item since he didn't want to help, 2 white couples came in they needed help so he jump right on it and whet outside with his tools but listen this is a black man and im a young black women. We the only race that get treated badly by our on kind. You don't see white men behavior like this. Thats why I love white men. They are so nice. Please put some white guys in this location and leave the old black wash up black gentleman home.

Stopped in this morning for a battery. After waiting almost ten minutes to be rudely told, 'It'll be awhile." Wouldn't have minded the wait, but won't tolerate attitude. He had seemed pleasant enough to the guy in front of me, so I have no idea what I did wrong. In the meantime, two other employees were wandering around the store doing seemingly nothing while this guy was drowning in customers, which certainly would contribute to his attitude as well. Took my business elsewhere, and I was in and out in 15 minutes with no hassle.

Walked in right after an employee, normally at other locations someone will ask me if I need help or looking for something in particular. The two individuals were on their phones when I walked in and didn t acknowledge me or look up until someone came from the back. Then he walked off when I told him I know which product my vehicle used. Not at all happy with the way they handle customers here.

Paul Tessa and Craig gave me outstanding service today! They were nice, congenial,and had a passion for their job. Good customer service is hard to find these days, but they went above and beyond to help me with my needs. Make sure you visit the Bushriver location for your Auto needs, you will not be disappointed. I'll be back as long as you work there. Thanks guys.

I will always use this as my auto parts store! Rob, the store manager was extremely helpful and handsome. I went in there expecting one thing and he gave me options, my battery needed to be replaced and he was fast and efficient! Thank you Rob!

I went to buy a replacement taillight bulb for my vehicle, I even had the old broken one as a reference. After looking around inside the store I asked the clerk at the counter if the new light bulb would fit my vehicles make and model. He said yes of course, so I finalized the purchase; once the purchase had been made I returned home, I went and removed one of the new bulbs from the two pack and went to install it in the place of the car of bulb, and the new one didn t fit. So after that I had called the store to see if I could get a refund since they d both confirmed and sold me the wrong product and they said since the package was opened they were unable to do so since they wouldn t be able to resale it. I find that unfair because I asked the clerk was it the correct light bulb and he said it was.

Jay and Gary saved me today! I showed up needing a car battery and they checked the life of my battery, found the one I needed, mentioned the online order discount, and installed it. I screwed up my online order and ordered to the wrong store. They made some calls and made it right. I haven t experienced customer service like this with my car ever.A visit to this store is worth your time and money. I trust these guys with my car.

I visited the store on January 10th 2021 between 8-9pm. It WAS RAINING AS WELL. My brother and I had a flat tire in the parking lot of Advance Auto Parts on the side of the building. It was very dark so my brother went inside to purchase fix-a-flat. He said I didn't get the receipt the man said oh I don't need it. As we approached the tire we discovered that is was a blow-out. I took the fix-a-flat back in the store informing the manager that I needed to return the fix-a-flat and that my brother had just left from the store in less than 10 minutes. NO ONE WAS IN THE STORE PRESENTLY NOR HAD ANYONE BEEN IN THE STORE. Teddy the manager said NO he needed a receipt. I said to Teddy that my brother had just been in the store and we don't need the fix-a-flat. We were on the side of the road in the rain and it was very dark. This is poor management/leadership. Teddy had no compassion for us or our situation. He totally ignored me and was very rude. He displayed HORRIFIC customer service skills. I have reached out to corporate as well. If I could give it -1 star I would. This is terrible.

The member of staff that tried to help me had no car knowledge and didn't know how to work the computers. Other customers seemed to have competent staff but I'll never know that joy because I won't return to that store. The Pep Boys down the road was much better on all fronts.Other Advance Auto Parts have been better..

Friendly staff. Not extremely vast variety of car accessories but you would do Just fine. They will check your batery for free if you can bring it to them which is a very nice gesture. Not very good collection of seat covers which was my primary concern when i went there. Got some nice kits for headlight restoration. Good place to search for accessories if you need anything but do not expect to find anything for latest year models.

Ive known how to change a battery for over 12 years now. My father would not allow me to drive until I could change a battery myself. I allowed 2 "mechanics" at this location to change my battery for me because it was included in the purchase price. I figured I was saving myself some trouble. FALSE. My car died while driving in rush hour traffic 2 days after having the battery put in at this location. After a quick open of the hood, it was blatantly clear that the TWO workers had not bolted the battery down. It took 2 employees 20 minutes to do a simple job incorrectly, that I or any other person with basic knowledge could have completed in 5 minutes, easily, and without complication. I will never trust someone else, especially an Advance Auto Care employee, to perform simple work on my car again.

My experience at this store receives 5 stars solely based on their Commercial Parts Pro. She goes ABOVE and BEYOND each and everyday for our business to deliver quality and dependable service. We know we can rely on her to assist us with anything we need as an automotive repair facility. She is a huge asset to this Advance Auto Parts and a huge asset to our business as well.

I just wanted to give compliments to Mark-- He was very honest, patient and wasn't trying any fast sales pitches on me. I called several mechanics to explain the issue I was having with my car, they all said it sounded like the battery was dead and I needed a new one. Mark disagreed and wouldn't let me buy one. He made sure I had the car tested before making the purchase, he was correct because it was the starter. A lot of times people won't take the time to listen and will just sell you anything, especially when you say you talk to a mechanic. Thank You so much for your honesty and help. ( And, I got you on those BIg Mac Double Cheesebugers-LOL!!) Jo

I frequent this location because I can honestly say that this store and their staff is easily the best auto parts store I have ever come across! They are always honest, extremely helpful and they share suggestions if they do not think what they can do is your best option. They are also great as a second opinion. Check them out!
