3 hours for oil change and tire rotation with appointment. They never rotated the tires and the oil plug was not secured, causing oil to leak on my garage floor. The acting manager offered a free oil change after 2 return trips to correct the issues. Unacceptable

When you make an appt and arrive on time, someone should communicate and update the status after 50 min of waiting. I shouldn't look outside to see that the car has not moved as a form of communication. I asked for my keys and left and to be honest it didn't see to bother the staff.

Very polite and friendly check in at desk. Had a 9 am appointment for oil change and rotation with inspection for a road trip this weekend. 29 point inspection.Unfortunately the service tech skipped a few items after being directed by another employee which I overheard him say. I knew two tires were very low (27 psi) which is why I went to Goodyear instead of just an oil shop. I returned and had the air rechecked and sure enough all 4 tires needed considerable air. What else did they skip is the question

I arrived on time for my 8:30am appointment. I asked for an update around 10:15 and they had not yet started the car. I'm sure they do fine work but they wasted my whole morning by not respecting my appointment time.

The Goodyear Auto Service Center is the place to go for any mechanical repairs. If you have not been there I highly recommend going there for your next auto service visit. I am not one that writes a lot of reviews but when you have a great experience anywhere now days it s definitely worth sharing some good reviews. In the past, I have had lots of bad experiences with mechanics but not this place. I took my vehicle there a few years ago and have been a repeat customer since. Truth be told, the first few times after having them diagnose a tell me what work is needed on my vehicle, I went to another mechanic and each time I got the same diagnosis. That was all the proof that I needed to know that I could trust them. Paul and Matt are phenomenal managers. They are very personable and professional. Their honesty, and reliability, and kindness are outstanding!! The technicians are top notch and completely truthful in all aspects about what is going on with my vehicle. I absolutely cannot say enough about this TEAM. Today, while picking up my vehicle, I was beyond impressed with how professional Matt was with a customer who was not satisfied with the service he received. The customer was loud (intentionally I m sure), extremely rude and accusatory. Matt, remained very calm and respectful to the customer and provided him with proof of the service that was needed and completed per the customer. The customer refused to accept anything Matt had to say or do to make him a happy customer. Once, Matt confirmed the truth and caught the customer in several lies, he began to make threats and disturbances to Matt. Out of concern for the safety of his unsettled customers, Matt thanked him, encouraged him to call corporate, and politely asked him to leave the store. After the customer left, Matt apologized to his customers for the experience. I know this review is long but I can t say enough good about my experience at Goodyear Auto Service Center today. Matt, incredible customer service and it did not go unnoticed by me or the other customers. Thanks

Very good and timely service. I was visiting family in Lake Wiley over July 4 weekend and needed a quick tire patch before heading home to Maryland. I took my truck in without an appointment, they squeezed me in and was on the highway within an hour. Other places couldn't help at all with a same day fix. Sympathetic staff. I'm gratefull to you guys!!!

Took two full days of me begging their service manager to call my cars warranty company to see if the issue was covered. Every time I would be told they were about to call and hours later I d verify with claims no one had ever reached out. When I dropped my vehicle off I was told the diagnostics would be covered and imagine my suprise when I was hit with an 85 fee.Would never recomend.

I had to edit my review on this location. Goodyear told me my timing chain was laying in oil when they took off the drain pan and first said I needed repairs to total about 2k. I agreed and I got another call where the guy said I would be better replacing the engine which was 6k because I had 190k miles and I agreed. I waited two weeks and they said they could not find an engine that worked and sent me on my way not fixing any leaks. I went to Firestone and they laughed because the guy said if my timing was broken my car would stop or if loose the engine light would come on. I am paying a quarter at Firestone to fix my car and it will only take them two days because they have to order a part. Be careful at this location. I had to rent a car for two weeks for NOTHING!

Bought 4 new tires for a 2015 Toyota Corolla. After tires were changed the TPMS sensor light went on driving back home. Next day brought it back so they could check what was the issue. Location took care of it in a timely manner. Friendly staff. Highly recommended!!

Guy at the desk was nice. However the 12:30 appointment is apparently just for show. I was told it would be an Hour and a half for Just an oil change. Well after spending 2 hours waiting for my car at 2pm my car STILL HAS NOT MOVED. Then the guy tells me it ll be about 45 minutes when they pull it back there. People have stuff to do. If you can t keep appointments then don t offer them. Or at least give a realistic time frame instead of making me waste 3 hours of my day. Will most likely not be coming back here. Personal experience though.

dont go in for new bearings, the mech doesnt have a proper press and he wil just beat on it with a hammer which is why mine went out under a year due to the ring seizure they knew they caused, just go to another shop and save your money and time,the guys across the street will save you a whopping third of the price on tires,dont get ripped off.if these stars could go negative...

DONT GO HERE THEY ARE CROOKSBrought my fiances 2018 nissan rogue here for an oil change and tire rotation on June 11th. Here we are a month later and 3 of the 4 hubcaps have fallen off. With in 20 minutes of our visit we had to come back because they bent the plastic clips on the front hubcaps and made the guy at the front desk re install them. Then about a week ago the third fell off as we were driving and it was damaged beyond repair.Also they never actually rotated the tires. I know because I marked them and they never even touched them. The young kid that worked on the car had a terrible "I don't wanna be here attitude" and just tossed my fianc�s keys on the desk. I will be filing a complaint with corporate as well as the BBB. Absolutely terrible service.

Great people, great service! Everything went smoothly. Tips for a pleasant experience when buying new tires:1. Go on-line to Goodyear.com and select the tires you want. There is a vehicle selector if you do not know what size you need. Make sure the tire size selected matches what is on your vehicle.2. Call The store and make an appointment if at all possible. Let them know what tire and size you want. They will make sure they have them in stock.3. Plan to drop off you vehicle and leave it there. These guys get hammered all day with calls and work.4. Be kind.It s easy and it worked well for me. Thanks to the folks working at Lake Wylie Goodyear! Great job!

The gentleman Paul was such a great help, just over the phone!He kept in contact with me about my tire. Very professional and kind. Once I got there Tuesday an older gentleman was processing my bill. Very courteous and funny! Highly recommend Goodyear!

Although the Lake Wylie Good Year dealership was busy, they worked me in. Their manager, Greg, was polite and put me at ease about getting a new tire and the installation.I received a courtesy tire and maintenance inspection for free. He also explained the tire installation pck.that included not only mounting and installing but also lifetime balance, lifetime rotations, TPMS rebuild kit, and free alignment for the tire.My bill was reasonable.

Staff was friendly and thorough... Explained what did and didn't *need* to be done to the car, and were happy to go over all the details.The only issue was that after having an appointment, it was still about an hour later before my car was brought into the bay. Otherwise, a great experience.

Great customer service! I had a screw in my tire and needed it fixed same day. They fit me in and I was ready to go in about 2 hours. Very thankful for their quick and efficient service. I ll definitely be going back when needed.

We moved to the area not too long ago and it s usually a hassle to find a reliable mechanic. The team here has always been very welcoming, informative and we trust that they re going to take care of us. The customer service we receive is always awesome and glad we have somewhere nearby to service our family s cars!

Horrible customer service! Came to get my car fixed and when I picked it up my oil light was still on. Asked for someone to come out and help to reset it, a guy came out and was unable to do so. He said wait a minute, I ll be right back , waited 20 minutes for him to come back and next thing you know everyone was getting in their cars to leave. I waved the guy down and he just kept going in his car as if I wasn t waiting for him to come back.Called to complain to a service manager and got absolutely no apology, clearly he didn t care about how rude his worker was and how they lack at customer service. Never going here again!!

I just left Goodyear in Lake Wylie and had a great experience. I ran over a screw this morning and they took me immediately, no charge for the patch and were very friendly and professional. Good prices on tires also, I will definitely be back!

This was a far better experience than I expected for last minute service on a Jeep. Yes, it was more expensive than other places but that's a corporate issue. The Manager there was professional, non-judgmental, and realistic. More importantly, he was honest and knowledgeable. I will be going back even though I know I can get less expensive service elsewhere. Good job!

The manager, Chris, and his entire crew are not only courteous and professional, but they gave us the best deal around for 4 brand new tires for our car! We followed Chris when he moved from the Rock Hill location because of his honesty and genuine concern for his customers. We highly recommend them for all your car care needs!!

I needed to drive 4 hours with kids in the car for spring break and discovered a nail in my tire. Leaving later in the morning I went to Goodyear tire in lake Wylie South Carolina. Greg was very helpful and got me in immediately even though they had a full workload. He asked Paul to work me in and I was in and out within an hour. Thank you to both Greg and Paul for helping me that morning! P.s. we had a great trip!

I called last minute to see if they could install some tires on my 5th wheel since a competitor decided that they were not willing to do the work after sitting there for an hour. Goodyear was very polite as I explained what I was needing done and offered a competitive quote. Without an appointment they were able to mount and balance all 4 camper tires (the same ones a competitor refused to do) and I was out the door in a little over an hour. Their service has always been top notch and I will be taking all my business to them going forward. Thanks to all the hard working employees for turning a bad day around for me!

Stopped in today due to a screw in my tire and was very surprised when they fixed it for free. They took us as a walk-in and fixed our tire within 2 hours. Very friendly and helpful staff. With family living in the area, I'll be sure to send them here for any future repairs

I went to the shop last Saturday to schedule my appointment for wheel alignment. I told the guy at the counter about little shaking when I break the car. He said they can also check the wheel balance while they do the alignment and when asked about it again, he said free of charge, that it would be included.So I scheduled the appointment for Sunday 7/15. When I came on Sunday, a different guy at the counter told me that ONLY wheel alignment will be done and no wheel balance will be checked unless I pay for this extra service. When I told him what happened on Saturday, he didn't really care and repeated his thing. Then I asked for a manager, he said he is the manager. I then told the guy if he is the manager, then maybe they should train the people better not to tell customers different things on different days. The guy took it personally and told me they can refuse to do any service at all. Are you kidding me?? I paid for 3 years of wheel alignment ahead and this is what I get from "The Manager" ? I really don't appreciate this kind of treatment. Then on top of it, after 40 minutes of waiting (remember I had an appointment on SUNDAY), my car was still sitting on parking lot and when "the manager" was asked when they take it in, he couldn't even give me a time. So I left. What a joke. I'm sorry, but the owner should really do something about his staff.

I had a great experience with Josh the manager at this location. I was in dire need for two new tires. Josh was able to guide me in the right direction on which tires to get to best fit my vehicle and the type of ride I was looking for. I will definitely be using their service again.
