Finding this place was a blessing from God. I highly recommend coming to MST Performance. This guy really loves and KNOWS mustangs and wants what s best for you and your car! If you have a mustang or any Ford at all, do not hesitate to call and make an appointment you will not be disappointed. Service is great, honest, professional and friendly. Ish has helped me greatly! I am not going anywhere else except for MST Performance from now on.

This shop worked close with me over the course of three months, back and forth between texts and calls planning everything I needed. The owner is super communicative and is likely to be the most knowledgeable individual out of Charlotte/the surrounding area regarding mustangs. I brought my dead 4.6 GT to him, obtained a used motor, and in a matter of a week he got it running and driving like it was off the dealer lot. Highly recommend it to anyone needing repairs, modifications, or otherwise for their mustangs as well.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Transmission repair, Battery, Oil change

Wanna start this off by saying if I could give more than 5 stars I would!! I had recently acquired my new to me 2011 mustang GT/CS. After having it for about a week and a half, I unfortunately had the nasty rod knock the gen 1 coyote s are known for. To preface this a little more in depth, I had went to 4 other very reputable shops nearby only to be told there wasn t anything bad wrong with it other than a possible lash adjuster or something in the drivetrain. I then started a deep dive search and come across another mustang specific shop and went to him, to then be satisfied with the correct diagnosis, that place then was telling me to throw in a couple of bearings for $3K and sell it in hopes it isn t making that sound. I then called Ish at MST performance and he advised me he can take care of me and the car. Once I left that shop I spoke to ish about what we could do moving forward, he assured me there wasn t anything that I needed to do other than drop car off and expect it back within 4-6 weeks. He saved me a ton of headaches as I was willing to just drop the motor and rebuild it myself, I was honestly happy to just pay for my time by allowing him to handle it, he found an engine for me (a gen 2 swap)! Very communicative throughout the process as I m very controlling when it comes to my car and he was very patient with me too! I wound up getting the best out of him while he busted his butt to get this done for me all the while running his business at the same time! The guy is a wonder worker for sure! If you have a mustang or anything that may have a mustang relation, NO ONE should touch it other than ISH!!! He is a mustang genius! Thanks so much ish I look forward to more time with building my stang throughout the years!!

A master at his craft, to say the least. Ish is one of the hardest working, most knowledgeable, and honest mechanics in the business. He pulled my failed Coyote 5.0, sourced, and installed my new one in amazing fashion. A wizard on all things Ford! Relatively new to the Charlotte area from the Midwest and I have a 1987 Mustang GT 5.0 convertible that had been been garage kept. I had an issue with my manual transmission and I knew that wanted someone knowledgeable to work on it and that's how I found MST Mustang Parts & Performance and Ish. After talking with him and discussing the issues that I was having, he recommended that I let him take a look at it and he would let me know what his thoughts were. That's where the trust entered, he gave me a thorough assessment and made some recommendations of some things that I had also neglected doing in order to get it back into top shape. Ish's knowledge, experience and love of Mustangs reassured me that MST Mustang was the perfect shop for all my 5.0 GT needs. I would definitely recommend Ish and understanding that the quality of work he does, keeps him in high demand and consistently busy but he's definitely worth the wait!

Want to said thank you to ismael, did a great job putting a new trassmission in my 2016 mustang gt. & finding me a new one. Replace the clutch & flywheel. Did a great job. Can t complain, putting back together exactly how it goes. Brand new short shifter. It feels amazing. 10/10. Keep the good work always & he always very nice and a calm guy.Service: Transmission

To all Mustang owners if you are looking for a reliable place to take your car for repairs look no further than MST. Ish is helpful, professional, and honest about whatever problems you are experiencing with your car. His knowledge on Mustangs is unmatched and I haven't dealt with anyone else that knows as much about cars than him. When he finds the problem he gives you your best option, gets the parts, and gets the job done in a timely fashion. Great guy and I wouldn't take my mustang, or any other car anywhere else. Don't waist your time with the others. You've tried the rest, now go to the best. GO TO MST MUSTANG PERFORMANCE!! You won't regret it.

Building a very meaningful car that was gave to me I was limited with a budget and down in the dumpster. One day ran across MST Mustang Parts & Performance and gave them a call just to bounce ideas and keep my spirits alive. Ish said come on down and talk to me. Ish made my dreams come true. Ish was open, down to earth, honest, and help me in anyway possible. I will HIGHLY reccomend this company for all your needs. Give them a call just like I did, you won't regret it.

I was in a panic right before Christmas, my transmission started making a horrible noice and my car was shaking violently coming out of first gear. Ish got me in to diagnose the issue and quickly identified the problem being with my clutch. I was in denial as I have never blown a clutch before and of course the internet was telling me it was the rear-end. Ish assured me that was the problem and I took the leap of faith and had him service the transmission. He sent me numerous pictures showing me the condition of my clutch assembly and replaced it with a Exedy. I got my car back and it drove like it was brand new. I won t bring my car anywhere else now. His honesty, his experience and his professionalism is something that is very rare to come by these days. I am so happy I found his shop!Services: Transmission, Transmission repair, Brakes
