David(the owner) is very knowledgeable. He handled some basic stuff for us including: alternator replacement, serpentine belt replacement, exhaust repair, catalytic converter replacement, o2 sensor replacement, sunroof repair,His fee s are never out of control & he is pleasant to talk to.The only negative i could have is that he s always busy (cuz good mechanics stay busy).

Great people all around, towed our car and trailer to their shop and were persistence in fixing it before they closed. We were 50 miles from home. Would definitely recommend. Honest fair prices also.

My car was having issues with starting up. I thought it was my starter and wanted to get someone to take a look at it. I read the Google reviews for Hoods Up Automotive and decided to give them a try and I am so glad I did! I called David and he was very professional and told me I could bring my car in the same day. When I got to the shop, he showed me it wasn't my starter, but it was my battery. I felt he was honest, gave me a good deal on replacing my battery, and he was done within 10 minutes! I have found a new mechanic and I will be sure to tell my friends and family about this shop! Thanks again David!

We brought our car in this morning for an exhaust issue. The team at Hood's Up Automotive went straight to work. They quickly diagnosed the issue and without hesitation went straight to work on fixing it. While waiting, I noticed that the crew worked closely together creating a feel good, confident atmosphere. They were all very friendly and made us feel like valued customers. The mechanic working on our car was outstanding and he went above and beyond to make sure the problem was fixed to perfection. Our experience at Hood's Up Automotive was a fabulous one and we will definitely be back. Thank you to the entire team for a great experience!

Where to begin.... Lifesaver! The car broke down as my husband pulled up to work. Through Google found Hoods Up Automotive. They did not disappoint! We received nothing less than professionalism and honesty. We utilized Hoods Up from towing to the repairs. We are very pleased with the results. The prices are quite reasonable and there were no hidden costs. Replacing an engine in an older vehicle was not the easiest of decisions. It is obvious that Mr. Peterson works with integrity. We will definitely use again with future needs. Thank you Hoods Up Automotive.Highly recommended!

We purchased (unbeknownst to us) bad, watered down fuel yesterday morning and after trying a couple of at-home fixes, we still couldn't get the truck to start. Called Mr. Peterson first thing this morning and after towing to the shop, he had looked at the truck and fixed it by 3 p.m. Great prices, great customer service and he even texted to check in on us after we picked the truck up tonight. A real stand-up man and honest work. We will definitely be calling this shop again if anything happens to our vehicles.

I recently had and issue with my cars suspension and i tried to fix it on my own.well I think I made a bigger mess than and made the problem worse than it started. Hoods up is maybe 30 minutes from my house but I have several friends that swear by those guys so I made the trip I talked to the owner he was very knowlegable and explaned in laymans terms what was wrong and what the job entailed and gave me a few price options.. I picked it up a couple days early and the bill was actually cheaper than the qoute!!! Ive never hears of that. David Peterson is the owner and he does fantastic work and as st8bfirward if a guy as youb will ever meet. He really gives his due dilligence to his customer. My car runs like a sewing machine!! They also sell cars on the same lot. Matter if fact I believe im going to buy ine next week. Thank you for your time regarding this matter.Best RegardsKen HughesDec18 2020

The man towed my truck cheaper than anyone around..hands down and moved to complete the job so fast. I had him take the truck to his shop instead for new tires, oil change and a tune up... And still his prices and service quality was untouched ..... If I had to recommend anyone this would be the place .

My guy David definitely won t let you drive off without A1 service on your car....... I came in to get one thing done and they examined my whole car before you know it they found something else...... Gave me an honest answer to all my questions and the team at Hoods Up Automotive made me feel comfortable to leave my car in their hands..... Great service and reasonable prices........ Definitely going back to them so If you want great service with a good price, come on down to Hoods Up Automotive with your ride and get it fix for a good honest price

Would be 6 star's if they had it .every other place wanted $100 to $160 just to check an see what's going on with the ac he didn't charge anything to look at it an fixed it quick an cheap .I'm going back next week to get brakes doneService: A/C installation & repairService: A/C installation & repair
