Fantastic service from Amber and Steven, despite the shop being overwhelmed.Previously purchased a set of BFG KM2s from this shop for my Jeep. Started having slight steering wheel wobble and (I know they're noisy tires, but) worse road noise than usual. I thought it was perhaps an alignment issue, but wasn't sure.Brought it in to have it evaluated, told them of my alignment suspicion. After looking at it, Amber at the desk and Steven in the garage concluded that it was a manufacturing defect in two of the tires (the other two were fine). They took the time to not only inform me, but actually *showed* me the defect in the tires (and compared to the good tires) to help me understand why it wasn't an alignment problem - again, despite an extremely busy work day. They then worked with me to get two new tires ordered, came back again for installation (on another busy day), and they got me squared away. Jeep drives great again now - no shudders or abnormal road noise.Despite Amber and Steven being understaffed and over-saturated with customers and work, they accurately diagnosed my Jeep's problem, treated me very fairly, and provided me with friendly and quality service. It took a few visits and some patience (due to no fault of theirs), and after giving them the time to do what they needed to do, I left a very happy customer. Both Amber and Steven are quality workers and I hope they'll be there next time I have tire issues!

I recently had a highly disappointing experience with Tire Choice, specifically at the location on 1754 Sam Rittenberg Blvd., Charleston, SC 29407. I scheduled a tire installation for my Honda Odyssey, and unfortunately, my encounter with this establishment left much to be desired.I had a confirmed appointment at 9:00 a.m., and despite the store's official opening time being 7:30 a.m., the doors were inexplicably closed until 9:30 a.m. Multiple attempts to get the attention of the staff by knocking on the door were met with complete disregard. When I finally gained entry, I was informed that there was no one available to install the tires. This lack of professionalism and total disregard for customer time is unacceptable. I had to take time off from work for this appointment, and the complete absence of communication or apologies only exacerbated the frustration of the situation. To add to the disappointment, there was no effort made to rectify the situation or offer any form of compensation. The lack of customer service and accountability is appalling.I would strongly advise potential customers to reconsider choosing Tire Choice for their automotive needs, given the evident disregard for scheduled appointments and customer satisfaction. My experience has left me thoroughly dissatisfied, and I hope that others can be spared from such a frustrating encounter.

I wish I could rate 0 stars. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!! I have waited awhile to post this because I had to get a refund from them and didn t want them to try to be crazy and try to cancel the refund. Went for a simple patch in a tire. They told me it would be $30 and a short wait. We waited in the waiting area and were being silly, sure, we were recording tiktoks but we were still being respectful. My husband is military he knows better. They called us up to tell us the tire actually couldn t be patched and the cheapest tire they had was $300+ ( FOR ONE TIRE). He asked for them to put the spare on and they said that because his spare was over 10 years old they couldn t do that and he would have to buy the tire. He bought the tire and returned the next day stating that he would like to return the tire for a refund and he would replace it himself. They complied with his request, but were veryyyyy rude about it. As he was talking to the manager, a blue haired chick working reception butted into their conversation and said you weren t acting like this yesterday when you were recording tiktoks . UNPROFESSIONAL. he was having a private conversation with the manager. The manager told him he would have to bring the tire in already removed for the refund because they were refusing to work on his car anymore. Understandable. The manager told him if we were to break something removing the tire you d make us pay for it & RIGHTFULLY SO.

My recent encounter with Tire Choice at 1754 Sam Rittenberg Blvd., Charleston, SC 29407, was an absolute nightmare, and I feel compelled to share my harrowing experience.I had a confirmed appointment at 9:00 a.m. for tire installation on my Honda Odyssey. To my disbelief, despite the store's official opening time being 7:30 a.m., the doors remained firmly closed until 9:30 a.m. My attempts to get the attention of the staff by knocking on the door were met with indifference. It was as if my time was of no value to them.Upon finally gaining entry, the bombshell dropped there was no one available to install the tires. The lack of professionalism and blatant disrespect for customer time reached staggering levels. I had taken time off from work for this appointment, and the complete absence of communication or apologies was not only frustrating but also utterly infuriating. What adds insult to injury is the total disregard for accountability. No effort was made to rectify the situation, and there was no offer of compensation for the time wasted. It's a slap in the face to any customer who expects even a basic level of service.I strongly caution anyone considering Tire Choice for their automotive needs. The abysmal customer service, the complete disregard for scheduled appointments, and the lack of any effort to make amends make this establishment one to avoid at all costs. My experience has left me not only thoroughly dissatisfied but genuinely outraged at the sheer incompetence and lack of respect for customers.

Needed a tire repair. Came in left my car all day. Return to pick car up with the tps light still on. Tech set tire pressure to 32psi .Inside door says 35psi. They also threw away my nitrogen tire valve cover and replaced with generic black plastic cap. Had to return and insist they inflate my tire to proper psi and find my valve stem cover. Both the tech and the service writer were friendly and compliant in my request. I just hope they do better next time.

Absolutely loved the service here. Amber and Jessica are so nice and sweet. They squeeze me in because my tire deflated right as I got off the highway.Chris the mechanic there quickly assessed the problem with my tire and fixed it within 30 mins.

This is the most disorganized, rude, overpriced auto shop I've ever had the misfortune of losing money to. You can't so much as get a phone call answered, the staff is aloof at best, hateful at worst but generally just not present. Not sure they've hired more than one employee tbh. Never seen 2 in the same place. And when you DO finally get service, they overcharge by a good $40. Consistently.Well, ya'll can have fun with that because I'm done here forever.

I had great customer service from Amanda and Amber! They set up a date and time for my car to be serviced and ensured that my car was well taken care of. They were able to give me price quotes before hand and answered all my questions. This place has gotten better since they have taken over the leadership positions! I have been a customer here for 5 years and have had bad experiences before. I am so glad Amanda and Amber are there now, they do a great job!

I go here mainly for convenience because it s in the middle of west Ashley, I ve bought 3 or 4sets of tires over the years from here and every time they get me in and out alignment included. But if you go in there for say just an alignment (Monday9:00a.m.), he is booked full till next week sir sorry I ve even left my name and number to call me when they can conveniently pencil me in. I have a few vehicles that need rotate, balance and alignment extremely frustrating. With that said , management lately is not as friendly as in the past.

The manager is extremely rude. The complete service was not even done. I had to reinflate my own rear tires. This is not the place that it used to be a few years back.

After failing to get serviced at Firestone down the road from here(read review on their page) I scheduled an appointment with Tire Choice for the next morning at 10 to drop my car off. Amber and Steven took care of me and my car! I went in for an oil changed and squealing brakes. Amber made sure to keep me updated on the progress as she filed the proper paperwork through my car company to make sure that they would cover repairs, etc. She also made sure to call me when my car was ready. I am a patient person when it comes to getting work done on my vehicle, so I had already was prepared to leave my car there for a few hours. And let me tell you I was not disappointed when I picked my car up! The squealing was gone and my oil was new and these guys had to order a rotor and front brake pads file paperwork and do a oil change in a matter of 5 hours! I even waited (about 3 weeks) to leave this review and my brakes are still silent and car is running smooth! I don t wanna share them with y all but yeah this is my go to auto shop everytime from now on.

It is not easy to find a good auto shop, but I couldn t recommend this Tire Choice more. My check engine light & trac light turned on right before I had to drive to Charlotte. I called ahead of time to ask if I had my car towed there if they could take a look to see what was wrong & possibly fix it the same day. They said they could take a look but depending on the problem they might not be able to fix it today. When I got there they were able to immediately take a look. Turns out I needed new spark plugs & a coil. They didn t have a coil, but I was able to buy one from autozone & bring it back to Tire Choice & they replaced it for me. Everyone was so kind, honest & informative. If I lived here this is the only place I d go for anything involving my car.

West Ashley / Charleston, SC / off Sam Rittenburg- This place is a disaster. I have given it 3 attempts to get a simple oil change and wheel rotation right, and EVERY SINGLE TIME something is overlooked. This time, I had a fully flat tire (psi of 3?!!!) before stopping at a gas station to refill and dropping off with them. I explicitly asked if they could fix whatever caused the leak. When I go to pick up the finished vehicle 6 hrs later, I ask about the tire. Their response- oh. Not sure. Tech is gone for the day. Who runs a large business chain without any notes, software, or accountability of what was performed on a vehicle?!!! How about pick up a phone and CALL THEM TO FIND OUT?! Did they at least make sure the pressures were balanced? Same answer. No idea. Good grief! At the last oil change they forgot to rotate the wheels. THIS IS A TIRE STORE. Wouldn t that be the first thing you tackle?!! Then, to add insult onto injury- they finally look at the tire 30 minutes later (and almost an hr after closing time) and determine- wait for it- THE TIRE IS A TOTAL DUD!! Severe leak!!! Need a new one immediately!!!! Wait- the one you just completely overlooked and even took the time to rotate to the front of my car?? I dropped my car off this morning (expecting it to be finished when I arrived back at closing time BECAUSE THEY CALLED ME AND TOLD ME IT WAS) and STILL sat there in the bizarrely dark lobby (with another customer- awkward) for well over an hr for them to do tasks that they had all day to do. My boyfriend had 2 similar experiences, so we are out. It was conveniently near our house but we will bite the bullet and drive further. Firestone and Gerald s are a little more expensive and busy (for good reason) but it is well worth it in the end. Never had a bad experience and they ALWAYS look everything over before calling me to come pick it up. Often I turn down services they suggest but I am grateful that they at least do a complete diagnostic test with every oil change. It s the simple details Tire Choice misses, and constantly. Last but not least- the check in / check out process is PAINFULLY slow. It feels like they move in slow motion and need some caffeine or better Wi-Fi, or both?? Jury s out on that and I m not sticking around to find out the answer Pros: The employees have always been friendly and professional. (Exception: the customer service at the 1-800 number. Ironically, that person was useless and rude.)Cons: Everything else. Literally.Addendum: 2 days later I go to use my *new* windshield wipers that they supposedly installed for $40 upon my request only to discover that only one was put on and now my passenger side windshield is scratched. They could not done a more half a$$ job if they tried. *Even better- I call customer service to file a former complaint moments after realizing my windshield was scratched due to their inability to do a simple task that was paid for, and because the operator did not like my tone she told me that she had nothing further to add to this conversation. No refund, no apologies, NOTHING. Gosh, lady, why in the WORLD would I be frustrated?!! Guess you had better be on your very best behavior, even when totally sh$t over by your business! Is that your distorted idea of further assistance ?! Talk about accountability!! After reading this review she returned to my call and asked, Soooo, you re mad that you had to wait? Good grief, DID YOU EVEN READ THIS?!! >>>RUN, DON T WALK FROM THIS PLACE!!! IT IS A JOKE- LITERALLY THE WORST CAR SERVICE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD FROM START TO FINISH. AND DON T EXPECT ANY HELP FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE- THEY ARE JUST AS HALF A$$ AND UNAPOLOGETIC. I wouldn t trust this location, nor any other Tire Choice based on this experience. Don t let their friendly please reach out comment below fool you- THEY DO NOT CARE and clearly look for any reason to evade responsibility for their actions. At this point, I am going to take my vehicle to Firestone immediately to make sure they even completed the oil change.

Friday(07-24-20), at around 2pm I called to make sure this place had time to do an alignment. Later, after i got someone on the phone he said to me "I have time, bring it to me". When arrived at the shop(2:45pm), the same front desk guy told me they could still do it right away (3:00). After 55 min, my truck was still at the parking lot. The shop closes at 6pm and it was 3:55. I decided to wait 10 more min( 4:05), and the I ask the guy if they could still do it because I needed it by 5pm. I thought that given he response over the phone " bring it to me" he could do it in 2 hrs, but I was wrong. He, then told me bring it tomorrow morning, 8am.Next day, Saturday(7:45am), as soon as they open the shop, cranck thing up and get ready to work it was 8:35am. Several techs still stretching, having doughnuts, smoke breaks until one of them jumps in to get it to the ramp at 8:40. My driver side tire, outer-side was wearing out unevenly and needed camber adjustment( Not a toe in or out) Anyway, after the Tech sprayed several doses of lubricant, "worked on the truck", he ended up not doing any alignment to my truck. This was after the desk gut try to sell me front tires because it was the reason of the "shaking" which is not occurring. The only thing that I needed was a camber adjustment and I paid for watching a guy sitting down under my truck spraying lubricant, pretending to move the tie rods bolts. SHAME on this team of pathetic rip offs. Lastly, when paying (9:30) I ask for the reading for the alignment, before and after. Of course he told me( desk guy) that the shop printer( the one used on the back) didn't work. I ask for a pdf file to be sent to my email, and he said" There is no internet on that CPU" I mean, Seriously! DO NOT TRY TIRES CHOICE for an Alignment. They might be good for other things (not sure), but not for alignment. I took pictures from my suspension components before and after. So, if THE owner of this place wants to see how crocked his employees are, he/she is/are more than welcome.

My service was done efficiently, the gentleman that answered my phone call was very helpful and got me set up with my appointment effectively. My only negative is the lady working the front desk. I believe her name is Amanda. I heard her complaining about other customers that called while I waited on my vehicle and she also had an attitude with me and the guy that came in after me. She made me feel very unwelcome.Fast and affordable service though!

I ve been here 3 different times and haven t received service any of them. The first time I needed new tires put on and had an appointment set then once I arrived I was told that the people they have that work on teslas don t work on that day (said I had a tesla when I made the appointment). The second time I called and was told I could come in about an hour and get my tire plugged since I have a nail in it. I clarified the time I should get there is 5:10-5:20 and they said yes. Once I got there a different dude was at the counter and told me they stop doing walk ins after 5. So I set another appointment and I get here and the technicians that work on the cars haven t even shown up. I personally am not coming back.

I was able to bring in my new tires I purchased at Walmart and they did not have the staff to put them on, this place took my vehicle and I had no problems. Only thing I should have asked how much it would cost. The price was not to bad to remove and replace all 3. I was able to drop my vehicle off and they called me when it was ready the same day.

Amanda at your Sam Rittenberg location was very helpful, kind, and guided me through my whole process of getting new tires. Despite a few obstacles, Amanda got my car ready to go and stayed in communication with me on what was going on with my vehicle. Thank you and I will definitely be back because of her.

Could not be happier with my experience at Tire Choice! I was very unsure about putting a more aggressive tire on my Jeep Cherokee - staff (Larry) was super helpful in this decision - I was in and out in 45 minutes - and the tires gave my Jeep the exact appearance I was looking for. Highly recommend!

They seem nice, but I called and they said yeh 30min to an hour. So I came in on good faith and when I got their the machine they use was down. So they are working to get the part...so I wait but 20min later nothing. I finally just had to leave and go to Hay. It'll be a longer wait but at least they are able to actually start doing it.

I ordered tires on Thurs. I was supposed to get a call that they were in, never got one. Had an appointment on Monday for 9:30AM, car was not taken in until10:55. Reps, were fine but that kind of a wait is totally unacceptable. If it were to happen again I would be forced to go to a different provider.
