I went to SpeeDee for the first time last Saturday and Blake and the team were very courteous and professional. The wait time was not long and my car is well aligned and they did an overall check. Thanks for outstanding service.

Great service! The guys were very friendly, they suggested services that I should do for my vehicle but didn t push me into anything. I didn t have to wait too long for everything to be completed. I ll be going back for my next oil change.

Very affordable and quick. The only reason for four stars was the check out. The two people checking customers out were more interested in talking with two salespeople. I sat for an extra 7-8 minutes after my vehicle was finished before one of them noticed that my car was ready.

Extremely quick oil change. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes and the guy at the front desk who was ex-cop was friendly and gave a great explanation.95$ for a full synthetic oil change, I ll probably shop around next time but no complaints.

No wait, serviced my car right away. Changed oil and installed new wiper blades. They got a special rear blade at an auto parts store instead of special order. Very pleased and will be a definite future customer. I recommend SpeeDee s in West Ashley!

Fast. Affordable. They said they did a 17 point inspection. But during that they mentioned my battery was in good shape.3 days later I begin having starting problems. Toyota then replaced my battery and brand new. That s the only reason it was 4. I ll definitely return if Toyota is booked out too far.

We always get such good service and advice from the guys at this Speedee location. Had some trouble installing a car battery on our own, so the manager here took a look for us and quickly identified the problem. He had us fixed up and out of the door in under 10 minutes. Always very impressed by the service and integrity of the work done here!Service: Battery

I keep coming back to this shop solely because of Blake. He is the sweetest and most helpful mechanic I ve ever worked with. He goes above and beyond to make sure I understand what is needed and what they are going to do to fix the issue. I cannot say enough good things about him and this location!!

The men at SpeeDees are truly the best!!!! They are SO helpful & go above and beyond to look into any concerns I've had. As a female who doesn't know much about cars, I am used to being talked down to & viewed as an idiot. Really great group of guys, super honest, and super helpful. I felt really confident leaving my car with Wes and Blake. I've been coming here for years, and it's always been a pleasant experience with no forceful upsell. Just real talk on what really needs to be done and when. 10/10

I am revising my review after having time to reflect and cool off.They performed the oil change and DID top off the fluids (a DIFFERENT locating I was at last time didn't top off). So that is good.They came in and told me I needed a battery because mine was dead. They had tested it, and it wasn't any good.I thought this odd since I had started the vehicle 3 times that day without any issues.He said they would install a new battery for just over $200.Generally, I do not get mad easily. For some reason this really irritated me. So I told them that was OK, I'd take care of it (I figured I was within walking distance of being able to buy a battery if I had to... for less than that as well).The attendant said the vehicle wouldn't start. I said I'd take care of it. We kind of looked at each other for a second.He walked out and I saw them jumping it.They got done and I paid for the services. I assumed (though with some suspicion) that they would leave the vehicle running since, according to them, it would not start.It was not running, and this is when I really began to fume as I felt this was done on purpose.I popped the hood and found a battery cable was loose. Gave it a twist to tighten, and the vehicle started right up.I do not think they loosened the cable, but I do think they failed to check it - and possibly tested the battery by hooking onto the loose cable... which would give a bad reading.Happy that I tried the battery cables.I suggest they be reminded to check cables as a first step.... and if you think the vehicle won't start, don't turn it off when you hand it back to the customer - it will just make them feel you're doing it on purpose.I have revised my ratings to 3 stars, as they lost 2 stars due to failing to check the cable - and mostly for turning the vehicle off when they believed it wouldn't start.

I ve come to this location several times for a spectrum of services: batteries, oil changes, general service, and more. This team is so quick, friendly, and clear every time! Blake is always ready to help. This is my go-to car service spot!

This is my favorite place ever! I actually look forward to coming here and getting my oil/tires changed. Every time I come in, they remember my name, and they know exactly what I need to get done; they all work super fast as well! Blake and his team are wonderful. I just moved to the area and was nervous about finding a local mechanic to take care of my car. SpeeDee took good care of me in New England and I m so grateful to have found this location to take care of my car here.PS. I had my last car for 20 years and 275,000 miles by finding a local mechanic and doing exactly what he said to do when he said to do it.

We took our car in last Friday and they were so unbelievably nice and accommodating!! We have an old Highlander and they fixed us right up. We will definitely head back there for everything moving forward!

I have been taking my car to SpeeDee on 17S for years. Blake is fantastic. Helped me understand how to read my oil level in new Audi. Never upcharges. I always trust they have my best interest.

Best quick oil change shop I've ever had the pleasure of using. The technicians are all polite and friendly, and offer honest suggestions for additional work rather than trying to force an upsell.

Asked if they changed brake pads and they said yes then when I got there said the total would be over 1,000. Just left but it was frustrating waiting around to use this shop when they couldn t help me.

They are always so great and very down to earth and willing to answer any questions. They are regular guys doing their job and they are good at it. I only go to speedee for my oil changes. I always have a great time going there i know that sounds weird but i do enjoy talking to the workers but not holding up their work progress they like i said are very nice and down to earth and they offer military discounts to us which is always great to see and be supported by a company even with something as simple as a military discount. My vehicle has never had a problem after going there unlike some places who like to make you think you need all this extra work done and you don't. Speedee is honest and upfront. Thanks speedee

I couldn t recommend this place more. The mechanic s are kind and explain things clearly, even for folks who aren t super knowledgable! The prices are fair and the service is quick - the chore you dread is actually super easy here. I just wanted to say thank you guys and you are amazing. I went in for a routine oil change and it was somewhat busy. I was greeted by a kind gentleman named Richard. The best part what made it great was he was the one who serviced my vehicle. I've been to many places and I won't go anywhere else. When I was called out to go over my vehicle by him, it made me a bit nervous. Upon arriving, I saw my vehicle was vacummed. I'll admit my car is a mess but he made it look great. After a few minutes of talking to him I was at ease. He is confident and well spoken. He went over the entire car from A to Z. He showed me things I never thought or was told prior. I feel like places sell you things you don't need. Not here. He is very honest and gave me my best option and you can tell he cares about his customer. The prices are very fair and he even opted to help me as much as he could. I also liked the fact that even though other people were there, I felt like I was priority with him. Tell Richard thank you and he is an excellent employee and I wish you guys the best in your success and I will always refer your company to family, friends and whoever else needs service.

We were in an urgent jam while on vacation in Charleston. Another place up the road with a big brand name turned us away. Blake, Nicole and everyone at SpeeDee were kind and professional and went so out of their way to solve our flat tire just before close time! They saved our vacation and blessed us so much! Go there a over any other place.
