I brought my travel van, aWinnebago ERA there for 6 years, so I have a good bit of experience with these people. They are nice, professional, and work very hard to get you back on the road. There is no corporate feel here. Just real, nice, hard working people. When it came time to purchase my next RV, after looking at several other dealerships, I bought my almost-new class C from them. It had a few issues (it s an RV) that they worked very hard to fix and get me back up and running. Their prices are fair, and you won t find a better and more attentive staff. Highly recommended.

I was in quite a bind with needing my camper repaired with short notice for a trip I had planned several months ago. Pro Tech was the only shop that was willing to help me out. I dropped my camper off on a Wednesday, and it was ready on Friday! They were also incredibly efficient and the work cost me much less than I anticipated. Melissa works in the office, and she is one of the most pleasant people to work with. You don t see that kind of service everyday. I would highly recommend them for your RV service needs.Service: Electrical

Amazing service and amazing staff. Protech did some body work on my trailer after an accident and I have nothing but great things to say about them. Great communication, very professional, and great service. Also, the work on my trailer was done sooner than expected. I would highly recommend them.

I'm a retired professional mechanic and have done all my own vehicle maintenance until now. Last year I sold my home with well-equipped garage in order to full-time travel in our motorhome so now I have to rely on others when it's shop-time.Recently, my coach developed a fuel delivery issue. I sought many reviews to determine who in the area was most qualified to troubleshoot and repair. I found that Protech lived up to the reviews. Honest, fair, good people.Wayne & George are capable, strong analytical thinkers. I highly recommend Protech as your starting point if you are in Charleston SC.

We damaged our new RV and it needed a fairly serious repair. We had been to three other RV repair facilities in the Charleston area with our previous RV, none of which were positive experiences. Pro-Tech RV not only did a great job on the work, they were easy to get in touch with and did what they said they were going to do every step along the way. One thing I absolutely love is that they answer their phone.

Im not sure what the deal is with the 1 star reviews but I made a point to write a review because of the great experience I had. My technician, believe his name was Jesse, was fantastic. He was incredibly responsive, quick, and had me up and running in no time. I had to take off work and because he was so efficient and on time, I was able to only take a half day and I really appreciated that. Great technician, great company, and I will always give them a call when I need a repair. Thank you so much.

I own a 2006 Winnebago Adventurer, I bought it a year ago and like any older motorhome it gets to a point where you know it is just not running correct. I took it to ProTech, Maddi, in the office was very knowledgeable and on the ball. When you bring something like this in for repairs you are always afraid of the (open your checkbook factor). They kept me informed throughout the whole project. I felt so comfortable with them.Once I picked it up I felt like I was driving a newer unit. We took it on a long trip had one problem nothing big. Keep in mind it mechanical, stuff happen. They treated me like royalty and fixed it right away.Points.1-Honest2-Knowledgeable3-Prompt.4-FriendlyThank you guys.Services: Exhaust, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Oil change

This is the best place to have your RV serviced. We have had the best service and results. They treat you like family...good family.I would give them 10 stars if possible. I rarely write reviews, but these guys deserve a shout out. Prompt, helpful, quality work, every contact with them was high quality. They were not afraid to suggest cost saving options, and adjusted their schedule to accommodate mine. It's really refreshing to encounter well run operations, what a pleasure. Thanks Pro Tech team!

I have had my motor home serviced at Protech for a couple of years, and have always found them to be totally professional and courteous. Doc always goes out of his way to ensure the best possible customer service. I have full confidence in Protech, and highly recommend them.

Our Class A motor home broke down on I-95 and after 4 no but try here, we were told that Protech was the place to go. Was told to ask for Wayne. He said he would work us into his already busy schedule. We thought we would need a hotel but Wayne said we could stay on property and have electric service. WOW!! They waited for our tow truck and got us set up past business hours. First thing Tuesday morning Wayne was under the RV and confirmed the tranny was shot. A Ford Re-Man was ordered and set outside on Wed morning. On Friday in a swirl of activity the new tranny was installed tested and by 2p we were on our way home. What a quality experience. All of Wayne's staff treated us like family. When you break down on a trip you really wonder who you will find to fix your rig and not take advantage of your situation. Well you will not go wrong ending up at Protech Inc. If I lived in the area it would be my new service provider.

My company owns a couple of 30 passenger Trolley's and I have a malfunction with my carburetor and radiator. I took my trolley to Wayne at Pro Tech and they quickly diagnosed the problem and told me what needed to be done. They were very professional and would recommend them to anybody that needs Heavy Duty Truck repair. Only thing that I was uneasy about was the labor charges. Other than that, they were good.

This was the fifth RV repair shop we worked with, 4 in the Charleston area. I had nearly lost all hope in the RV industry. The indifferent attitudes with customer service and lack of responsivenss was absolutely staggering. Our 5th wheel RV had frame damage involving an insurance claim. Every step of the way, Maddy, Wayne and Doc as well as Jeff and Chuck at Charleston Frame and Wheel were "on it." We're so glad to know we finally have some place to take care of us.

This place is awesome. I am a relatively new to RV ownership and Melissa and the team at Protech has helped me upfit my RV with some necessary additions and they have given me tips on things I needed to be safer on the road.

My wife and I bought our 1st RV a few months ago and she needed some TLC after not being used frequently by the previous owner. The Onan needed major work as it had zero hrs on it and just sat too long.Wayne, Doc and the rest of the crew were extremely helpful with our questions and repairs. Priced right and quality work!I recently went by there to ask Wayne a question as I didn't know how to solve it on my own . He stopped what he was doing, on a very busy day, and showed me exactly how much I needed to learn bout being a RV'r... lolHe showed me what I did wrong and was very kind in doing so.They have lifelong customers....Mitch and Kris Wyman

I agree, I took our family RV to this place for repairs back in 2008 and they did the exact same thing to us. They acted like we were bothering them when we would call in to inquire as to the repair status of our RV. The cheesy water pump that they replaced did not even last a year before we had it right back into another shop for the same repair due protech using inferior parts. If I would have thought about it at the time I would have disputed the charge on my credit card. But hey lesson learned for us? Stay far away from protech if you know what's good for you.

Great place! I didn't take my RV in there to get fixed, but I was trying to work on my own and had some questions so I called and they took the time to answer all of my questions even though they knew they weren't going to get paid for that time. Great customer service!

Wonderful experience!! Repaired my RV quickly and correctly and got me back on the road! Friendly courteous staff and knowledgeable repair techs. Will definitely use Protech for any future repairs!

Had the same repair done 3 years in a row; shame on me for going back each time. Then called to inquire about tires and pricing. They told me "bring it by the shop"; would not give a quote over the phone for tires. Very aloof and belittling to me on the phone, and this is after being a customer for years.

Not recommended for RV tourists. Business is booming and they're booked up even for locals 2 months ahead but were nice enough to give suggestions.
