I was provided absolutely terrible customer service by the Owner of the establishment, John. I requested that his employee Stopped Smoking a Cigarette while providing an oil change service. John s immediate response was No, don t you know how hard it is to keep good mechanics? I m not going to get onto my guy for smoking. I informed him that as his customer I saw it as a safety hazard and he still refused to inform his employee to put out the cigarette while completing an oil change on my car whilst I m in the vehicle. He then gave me the ultimatum to leave or get the service with his employee continuing to smoke. I chose to decline the service and was disappointed with the oil plug being unscrewed and leaking oil. The behavior of the manager/owner John is unacceptable and irresponsible. A clear violation of OSHA standards.

I called and John was very polite over the phone. Pulled in for an oil change and he was also able to change my headlight for my Jeep Grand Cherokee which are notoriously A PAIN to do. He was quick and friendly, honest about pricing

One of the workers drove my car into a car wash grate ( drain in the ground) and my right tire fell into the hole. underneath my car broke off a lot of plastic covering and bent some structural metal. When I confronted them after picking up my vehicle, they lied and said it never happened even though I watched it happen and my stepdad saw it happen with me. Talked to the manager over the phone and he screamed at me and threatened to call the police on me if I didn t leave immediately. Said that never happened and said he would ban me.Absolutely awful customer service. Extremely unprofessional and childish atmosphere with no accountability. Didn t try to help or even look for damage. Do NOT recommend going here.

I took my car to this location yesterday for an oil change. They began to process being very rude and talking over me. They never asked what kind of oil I wanted and were dishonest about the services they said they had provided but did not do. I have called the owner twice to no avail...he has responded to either of my messages. So disappointing...wanted to share my horrible experience to hopefully spare others.

Gave me a quote over the phone and in person. Received oil change and charged $30+. Plus the mechanic had an attitude the whole time doin the job. When putting the sticker on for when I'm due for a next oil change, he put it for only 3000 miles and attitude when I questioned it. (Fixed it). Going out of the station, my car dragged over something, I questioned it, he said " don't worry you're fine." I'll be back if a problem occurs.

I have gotten my oil changed and tires rotated at Mobile 1 for a few years. I stopped by yesterday to have my tire checked and ask about brake service. They were able to replace my brakes right away. I asked for front and back brakes. They actually told me I didn't need front brakes! The won't sell you something you don't need!!! I cannot tell you how helpful, kind and honest they were. Tim was knowledgeable and professional. I really will not go anywhere else. I sat on the bench, in the sun and watched customers pull in. They were all greeted within one minute of pulling up. It is nice to know that these guys won't try to sell me something I don't need. Thanks for continued excellent service!!!Services: Brakes, Oil change

I use this place for oil changes in my company vehicle. They're quick and thorough and that's why I go here, not for their bubbling personalities. I dont want the "Gerald's Tire" lets make a bunch of meaningless small talk with strangers In a crowded waiting area experience. I want my oil changed so I can get on with the rest of my day. This place helps me to do just that

Changed the oil but did not even touch the filter. They said they did but I could see where the filter was through the window and they never touched it for 126 dollars. Ive changed the filter several times so i know where it is. What a rip off...

We came in because a check engine light came on. Everything was fine. The gentleman hooked up the machine to the inside of our car. The car drives Great. They took their time out for us without charging us.We do go there monthly for an oil change, ect.... We will never stop coming here.Even the new worker, Chris, kept busy, doing work without being told what to do.

I went here for an oil change today. One of the employees pulled off my door handle and then they refused to fix it and told me I would have to pay for it. Called the owner and he also had horrible customer service skills. They didn t even apologize. I knew I shouldn t have tried this place. They also were not wearing masks during a pandemic, didn t have ANY precautions what so ever. They didn t even put down paper on the floor like every single other place that does oil changes or car repairs does as a courtesy to protect your property. Just plan awful. Be careful

I have visited this location twice. The first experience was . My second experience my car started shaking,rattling,smoking. They told me they were finish with everything after about 5mins of me being there. And I know it takes a little bit longer to check everything, and today I found out that the car didn't have any oil in it, so to the shop it goes.

Great service, I have always felt like I am paying a fair price and getting great customer service.Paige Thomas' review below is false. I was present for this situation and her car was not only missing other door handles but the door handle that came off was already broken and she threw a fit to try and get the shop to pay for it to be repaired.

I regularly get my oil changed here because of convenience and price. But when my oil filter started leaking on to my exhaust manifold and creating copious amounts of smoke, I brought it to them thinking it may have been faulty or cross threaded. Neither was the case, but the manager came in on his day off, replaced it and topped off my fluids as a courtesy. Above and beyond! It's important that we reward this kind of good business practice with our loyalty. And cold beer. 5 stars!

I got an oil change here last week in preparation for a road trip. I ended up having tire problems during my trip but thankfully the mechanic working on it noticed my oil dripping. They did not tighten the oil plug at all and it was extremely close to falling out!! Their carelessness could of caused so much damage. Seems like a pretty simple but extremely important task to overlook.

The good: Very fast service. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Superior products.The bad: Dirty. See my photos. When service techs care so little about hygiene, it makes me wonder what they actually do during the actual service.When will mechanics and automotive service personnel understand we do not want our cars dirtier post service. This one thing will prevent me from returning.

Awful experience. All he ask was if I needed an oil change. Didn't discuss options of service. I thought I was getting a conventional oil change and he comes in an tells me it would be $80. I was shocked! Then he tells me that my cars requires a certain type of oil and that is the only type he can put in it. If I could give them no stars I would. Tried calling the owner and he didn't answer my call. Left a message and waiting to see if he returns my call. I told the guy to take my car out of their system and I will never have my car serviced at Mobil 1 again.

They overcharge minorities, after looking at the names of other people that stated they were overpriced, it s obvious. I paid $80 for a synthetic oil change. Which has always cost me only $60 (with air tire pressure check & pump,) for my car that is under 45k miles.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

They are fast, but my son and I won't be back for anymore oil changes. I stopped by for air in one tire and the guy said it would be $15 to add air, check all of the tires and fluids. I chuckled because I thought he was kidding. Pretty sure I was speaking clearly when I said I needed air in ONE tire. Most places, such as Take 5 Oil, do it as a courtesy. They not only put air in my with a smile and free of charge, they also gave me a bottle of water.

Check behind their work before you leave. Got home and found that the dipstick handle was broken off. Drove back to ask them to put another dip stick in and they called the owner who didn t want to talk to me or hear my story, accused me of lying and got really irate and told me to never come back. I couldn t believe it and never had any such experience with any business. If I had broken it off myself I would have simply asked them to repair it while changing the oil; just like one year when I asked them to install headlights I had a problem with, which at that time was no problem for them. He did at least hand me a new dipstick, but they got tired of trying to drill out the broken stick and of hearing me try to explain my side, so the owner asked me to take it somewhere else for removal of the old dipstick.

I barely sat down and checked my email and they were already done. Didn t try and upsell on anything like I usually get from other places. The best part for me was I didn t wear a mask and no one said a word. I think the mask wearing should be a personal preference and not forced. If you are uncomfortable and want to wear one then great but if you don t feel it s necessary then you shouldn t be forced to by anyone. Great business and if I needed an oil change every week I would go there.Service: Oil change

Fastest oil change. Seriously man. I went to 2 different business and they told me it would be literally 5 hours. I came here and got an oil change and tire rotation in 20 minutes. I ll never go anywhere else.

Friendly, honest and fast service. I've lived in west Ashley for years and tried most of the other places. Definitely best all around. I was also confused by the bad reviews here. It's an oil change place not a restaurant. They cost about the same as every other place but there faster and less likely to try and sell you stuff you don't need.

These guys are awesome! I have been coming to them for the last couple of years with three different vehicles and every experience has been a great one. They're friendly, don't try to oversell you, very helpful and QUICK!
