I started my purchase process way back in June of 23 with salesman Arizona looking at some options. Then I came in for a follow up at the beginning of August and met Garret and he sat me down and was very patient with me explaining to me what options I had with future inventory builds and helped me understand the build specs and told me he could hold one for me for delivery SEP 1,23. Arizona then called me and told me that the one I picked was arriving early in August and gave me tracking information to track the shipment to make it fun. I then came into place my order with Garrett and met Christen the financial lady and she was so awesome!! She said she could arrange for me to all the paperwork a day before my pick up date so all I had to do was just come in and collect my keys and pick up my RRS. I took her up on that option and I have to say: This was the most pleasurable no pressure, quickly done, professional and smoothly process I have ever had in a financial department purchasing a vehicle. I have purchased and leased many High End vehicles such as Mercedes, Audi, BMW and with her I was treated with respect and made to feel like she had my best interest. I met Jordan the manager and he was super cool and willing to work with me, with the high demand of the Range Rover Sport markup nationwide. When I came in to finally pick up my Range Rover Sport I was greeted with the New Car Reveal Black Cover, I almost cried, It felt like something you only see on Youtube and it was happening to me. Way better than the Red Ribbon treatment. So Happy. I feel welcomed and part of the BAKER LAND ROVER family and I can honestly say even after just 24 hours in my Range Rover Sport I will surely consider them in my next Land Rover purchases.Pictures: 1. Will never service my car at Baker Ranger Rover ever again. After keeping my car for over a week for a routine oil change was charged over $2000, then advised that if I used a credit card had to pay bill would be charged an additional 3% on the charge. Range Rover is supposed to be a luxury brand. You re supposed to get luxury service. Not a shister money grab like the 3% they charge you for using your credit card. Let s all remember that the card is really for their convenience and not yours. Total money grab. The opposite of client service and luxury. Will never use their services ever again.

I would only get my service here if my vehicle is CPO and even then I d be weary. The sales and service advisors are great, and wish Land Rover managed the service side because there is a huge disconnect in the quality of service. Full disclosure I purchased a used vehicle and knew the risk I was taking, my issue is how my vehicle was treated and promptness of basic service. My water pump went out and got fixed, but while they had my vehicle the front suspension collapsed. The service advisor did help with parts pricing but still feel like this was sus. After spending over $5k for my struts to get replaced I found ashes in my car door as someone was smoking in my vehicle. Fast forward to a few days ago, I called to get an oil change and they stated that they ll have to take my vehicle for 2 days I took it to EuroPro and my oil change took all of an hour and don t feel like I was taken advantage of.

Chad and team are awful (including service manager Jamie). Please save your time and go somewhere else. I scheduled an oil change and advised coolant was low. I drove 2 hours there, from Myrtle beach, and they advised that I d have to come back 2 days. I advised that i had the appointment time scheduled. He stated they should ve called me but didn t. Finally they agreed to change the oil. Chad came back and advised the leak would be 2909.87 to fix. After I agreed I went back and asked if there there was anything they didn t have to do like changing the water pump.. he said their was and advised it would be approx $1000 less. Couple days later another guy sent the invoice- wrong price. Chad sent one the next day- wrong price. Finally, after I corrected them the price was corrected.. all were overcharging charging me. Get in the car and service vehicle light is still on. Service manage say well you don t make mistakes? Are you perfect. Clearly I m not but when I make mistakes I don t blame other people.

Awesome dealership. Everything was smooth and easy from the 1st phone call to delivery of my beautiful Defender. Our sales person, Quentin Koonce, was fantastic. Very enjoyable to deal with & so helpful, even after the sale. The young lady in finance was also very kind and knowledgeable. I would definitely buy from this dealership again!

*Updated a month after the dealership responded*I have yet to hear back from the dealership even after they made a response asking them to contact them at their earliest convenience.Even though I adore the brand, since I left my car here, the facility's general lack of care and communication has been glaringly obvious.On August 18, I had my car towed in for work. My car was returned to me on September 7. On September 9th, I had to have it towed in once more. I opted to have my car towed out rather than have Baker work on it once more. I wanted to raise my concerns because of my experience.Before asking to be elevated to his manager, I had a back-and-forth conversation with my service adviser David. David was, to put it mildly, condescending and dismissive. James, David's manager, was notified of my situation.James read through my email, provided a response, and when I addressed my concerns he informed me he would reach out in the morning as he was in a meeting. He never reached out, it took me reaching out to get ahold of him.After speaking with James, I requested that my case be forwarded to the center manager. After phoning me once and leaving a voicemail, I followed up but got no response. I got in touch with James again and asked that the center manager either follow up with me or send me an email. James hasn't responded to my attempts to contact him for more than a week. It took me reaching out to another individual twice to get a response from James. Ten days later, at 9:24 a.m. today, he responded to me. It was 9:29 when I answered. I have not yet received a response.Alongside all of this, my invoice was incorrect when I first picked up my car and was not adjusted until I made note of it. Given the prices this dealership charges, I should not need to be weeding through my invoices (especially when prices were given upfront). My real problem comes into play with the work itself. When my car was towed back a second time it would not start. The battery was the obvious problem here (even though I was already billed to charge the battery which died within 48 hours). When my advisor reached out to me he informed me that I needed a new battery and a low fuel sensor. I asked my advisor if the car is currently drivable and my advisors words were (via text) "I wouldn't recommend driving the vehicle with the fuel sensor acting up. Hard to say how long you can drive it before it starts acting up". I'm not going to sit here and say that things can't change, I will say that I had the vehicle checked out privately and there was no indication of needed a new low fuel sensor at that time. Any engine codes that came up were related to the battery. Once the battery was replaced everything was back to where it needed to be.This has nothing to do with 'Baker standards' or expectations the company holds. It is a vehicle. Any mechanic can diagnose the vehicle. For the sake of resale, I kept all work done at the dealership. The general lack of care, communication, and respect this dealership presents is astonishing.

First world problems, but still problems. Bought a $105k Rover and have had electrical problems for the last 8 months. The first time I brought it in, I waited 5 weeks with no loaner car. They had my truck for a week and never even looked at it. My climate control only works periodically and that s not ideal for a South Carolina summer. I just tried to get it back in again for regular maintenance and get the lingering problems fixed. They wanted me to wait another 6 weeks! There is zero point buying from a dealer anymore! Done!

Saw the Range Rover Sport and Jag F Type R in person at this store. Shame that Jag is not going to have actual cars in their lineup anymore because that coupe was beautiful, especially in British Racing Green with Windsor Tan leather

Where to begin, I brought my vehicle in for service in August along with the service I asked them to replace the A Pilar on the driver side. When I came back and picked up the vehicle it was not until i was almost home i noticed they replaced the wrong side A Pilar. I had to make another 2 hour drive back to dealer to get the correct side put on. Now, fast foward not even 1 month and the 2nd attempt replacement is falling off the car. I have been calling for weeks to this dealer to get the car in for them to repair and nothing but crickets, nothing but promises of call backs and have yet to hear anything!

Stellar service at Baker Moyer dealership. Garret accommodated me at a moment's notice and the service department was top-notch. After a rough day with a dead battery, their efficient response and prompt assistance was a breath of fresh air. Highly recommend.

Sold me a Range that is worth 40k lower a year later. UPDATE $50K LESS. My sons Tacoma of the same year is worth more and cost a third of the price. That is insane. Should have done my research better I suppose.Also, their service department is ungodly slow and it takes months (not an exaggeration) to get the smallest thing done. Worst I've experienced in over a dozen cars, 5 brands, and throughout 3 different states.And don't give me your canned response of "call us so we can help". Are you going to take off the 15k COVID charge you put on it last year? Or make up the other 35k we've lost?If you buy a Range Rover after reading this, it's your own fault.

The service I get from Baker Land Rover West Ashley continues to be a great experience. Chad Pollak is outstanding! He consistently goes above and beyond his duties to make sure my service needs are met. He is both extremely knowledgeable and well informed. I m always satisfied with his professionalism and eagerness to take care of my concerns. Chad has been taking care of my Range Rovers since 2017. He is attentive and always willing to listen. I value his honesty and I m well pleased with the customer service.

The most laidback, low stress car buying experience ever. Because of Arizona, I was able to get my dream Jaguar! During the process he was knowledgeable and always quick to respond to my incessant questions via text. Even after the purchase he still responds to any questions that I have!Christen was the loveliest financial guru and went above and beyond to get things situated and rolling. I honestly can t thank them enough but especially Arizona for turning on that svr for the first time in the show room!

Do NOT have your vehicle serviced here! Had my vehicle towed there in September, and I didn t get it back until mid December. I had a busted radiator. My vehicle sat there for two weeks, and then I got a call the following week telling my about an accident. While my vehicle was parked there, it got shot. Both my back and front windows were shot, as well as 5 of my seats! Not only did the service manager made it same like it was partially my fault for it being there, he also made my insurance pay for ti have it all fix!! I wish I could post the pictures on the shatter glass that was in my vehicle when I got it back! Glass is still dropping from the front glass when I drive. Also, the tailgate is full of glass! I hear it every time I lift it! Even after having it detailed, it s still coming from places! My truck is also running different and is pulling to the right really bad!!!! We ve sent several messages to the GM, and he s never spoken to us!!!! Every time my husband went there, he s in a meeting or he s not in!! Worst experience in my life!!!!

Horrible experience all around. Purchased 2018 Range Rover Sport in late July 2022 with 30k miles, promised a new set of floor mats and a second key when purchased. As of February 2023 haven t received either. Promised loaner cars for service, but they re never available unless you can wait 3-4 months. Don t use that as a selling point if you can t honor it! Check engine light came on a few days after purchase and service due warning. Took car in and it was 10 days before they looked at it and another 2 plus weeks to get it back. Check engine light back on again in November. Callled after holidays for an appointment and earliest was 2-3 months out. Now with appt scheduled for late April car is having electrical issues and battery is dead. They could care less and offer no solution. I ve had this car for just over 6 months and it s still under warranty! Never again Land Rover and never again Baker motors.

This was the first time I custom ordered a car and I wasn't sure how the process worked from start to finish. I placed my order back in July and I was constantly given updates on build dates, and when we would take delivery. The Baker team and, Matt Dietrich did an amazing job with keeping up to date on the status of my order coming from overseas. I had a great experience buying my Range Rover Defender with Matt, and the team there. I will definitely recommend working with Matt and their financing team. Prior to taking delivery, Matt would send me detailed updates every few hours with pictures on the final touches prior to delivery. I am excited and, more importantly, motivated to buy another car from them. Thank you for everything!

Our 2019 Range Rover sport has been in the dealership service department since last June for a faulty lithium ion battery and the dealership/ manufacturer will not take any responsibility for not having parts to fix the vehicle. We still don t know when it will be fixed and getting any information about the part is absolutely ridiculous. We have been told its coming in for months but still nothing. I have even tried to trade it on another vehicle on their lot yet they give me a trade based on the fact that the car is not working. So my vehicle is just losing value every day it sits and waits for this part. I will never buy another Range Rover because they don t care about customer satisfaction or doing what is right.

From the moment we stepped onto the lot we were treated like family. Our salesman Matt who was not only super knowledgeable about Range Rovers but was extremely helpful & not pushy whatsoever. A definite pleasant surprise from the other car lots we visited over the past couple months. He very casually sold us our first Range Rover which we are extremely happy. Christen in the finance department was the most pleasant, personable person that we have ever dealt with, out of our 30 plus car purchases over the years. Christen & Matt together made our car buying experience a 10+ on a 1-10 scale.We highly recommend the Baker Motor Company & their team to anyone looking to purchase their first car or to simply add your dream car to your family of cars, as we did.

Although I did spend $60,000 + plus for an Evoke earlier this month, which we love, the sales technique on the Used Mercedes we were looking into did NOT go well. Georgia, the sales manager was very demanding and REQUIRED us to buy in one day or all deals were off. We had not even test drove the car yet. But hey, a monthly quota is a just that. So much for Baker's commitment to return buyers and any thought of loyalty. Strong Arm tactics are just part of their genre, I guess. Buyers beware and do not be intimidated. Mr. Baker will be getting a call from my wife and I. Will NEVER buy from them again!!!!

It's not often that I leave a review however the service I received from the sales staff at Baker Land Rover of West Ashley was exceptional. I had the pleasure of working with sales representative Matthew Dieterich in finding my next Land Rover and my first Range Rover! Matthew was very friendly and easy going, he listened to what it is that I was looking for in the vehicle that I wanted and was helpful at making suggestions on things that I might not have considered. The financing staff were also very helpful in walking me through the process and preparing me for what to expect when that time comes. Unfortunately, due to the fact that my requirements for my USED RR are very specific, they did not have the vehicle I am looking for at this time however they are still looking and will contact me when something comes in. From the experience I had I would highly recommend using Baker Motors for your next vehicle purchase!

Had a great experience. Everyone was friendly, helpful and willing to work with me. Sean Dyer was a great sales consultant, thank you for helping with a wonderful purchase. Love the Land Rover! Jordan and Carmelo were also great to work with. Purchasing a new vehicle is always stressful to me but the team at Baker, whether Jaguar Land Rover or Mercedes have always treated me kindly and put me at ease through the whole process. Thanks!

I can't say enough that the customer service from Matt Dieterich has been above and beyond outstanding. I originally went into Landrover to test drive a defender and left the same day purchasing one with his help and guidance. He fought for me to get the best deal and even had a few issues resolved quickly and without any stress on my part days after the deal was complete. He followed up daily until both things I needed to have done with the car was complete and made sure I was a happy customer. I wish I could give him 10 starts and really appreciate him and would tell everyone to go to LandRover and use Matt as your go to Car Guy!!

Best car buying experience ever!! The folks at Baker were all so helpful. Jim Wicks assisted me with the purchase of a Range Rover and he was wonderful to work with. Extremely knowledgeable, not pushy and just an overall nice person. The entire team is great, from the finance department to the GM and every other person that helped with me, I could not have been more impressed. Can't wait for my next purchase!!

Christen and Tien, best of the best! I normally complain about being stuck in a dealership all day. Tien knew what I wanted. Called me when they had it in. I was there in 20 Minutes, Christen had the finance paperwork teed up and ready to go. Fastest car trade in I have done yet. I actually really enjoyed myself on this round. My husband and I recently leased a Range Rover from Baker Motor Company. I cannot express enough how well we were treated and how the entire staff made our experience 5 star. Our Salesman Matt was terrific & coupled with his manager Jordan helping us get an incredible deal! Once we hit finance, Carmelo was great as well. If you want a Range Rover or Jaguar- I highly suggest this dealer!!! Thanks Matt!
