Had a great experience. Got a nail in my tire unexpectedly and they worked me in within the hour. Really professional and courteous crew. I ve also come to them before for trailer tires and the prices were super reasonable will be back 5-star

I hate posting a negative review, but I want other women to be aware. Don't let a man dismiss you, when you know something is not right. They put warped rotors on my car, but lied to me and tried to make me feel like the issue was all in my head. I am not happy with the service and what I went through. I feel all the details are just a waste of time putting them online. Bottom line, I don't like being lied to and dismissed. The worse part is that they tried to make it like I should be grateful that they corrected the issue without charging me more. Wow.

My husband uses them for their work trucks (spends money money with Hay every year) so I thought, why not give them a try with one of our personal cars.They put new brakes, rotors and tires on my car in July (nearly 2,000$). The first set of brakes they put on were faulty. They were discolored after a few weeks and had to be replaced (would loudly squeak whenever I deployed them). I ve been back 3 more times for squeaking brakes. Hay told we throughout this process that they just need to wear in. That they adjusted them. To give it time. Here we are in October and the squeaking continues. I went in last weekend and was told that there was nothing for them to do and to drive at 65 then brake hard with no one around to wear them down. After months of driving around with these brake pads, I still have to slam on them to wear them down to the point they won t squeak?!(Video is from 10/24/23)The guys at the front desk aren t that friendly either. Go elsewhere.

I was in Charleston for a wedding and my father's 2002 Buick had a leaky tire. I called Hay Tire at 4pm on a Thursday. Phil said if I got there in 10 minutes, they would look at it. Due to traffic and a wrong turn, it took me 20 minutes. I was so nervous that I was too late and I really needed the car the next day for the wedding. Phil calmly took the keys and told me where I could find the waiting room. The technican not only fixed my tire, but diagnosed a misfiring cylinder, which I had suspected. He also pointed out that the alternator and battery were in poor condition. Phil and the technician stayed after closing hours to fix my tire and diagnose my car's issues. I am indebted to them for their kindness and superior customer service. You can guess where I will have my father's car repaired as soon as I return to Charleston.P.S. We made it to the wedding on time.

Scott and the Hay Tire Pro team took such great care of me and my family. From working to answer questions and ordering tires, to scheduling our appointment, to communication during our tire replacement - their team was warm and welcoming. Our service was fast and professional. I will absolutely be back and highly recommend to anyone looking for a tire and auto center here in Charleston.

We had a tire emergency while we were passing through town & Hay s Tires was recommended by another shop who couldn t help us same day. Phil from Hay s was very helpful & even found a new tire from another place when they realized it couldn t be repaired. They were very communicative, efficient and prices are extremely fair. We definitely recommend!

I was told there would be a long which was fine. I was there about seven hours. I had to come out and asked for Progress report. I was told that everything was finished and that my computer had Been reset on my car. As soon as I got in my car, the computer was not reset. They tried it there. They fix it and then sent me to Ottohaus . I went there and they could not reset it either. I was told there was a nick in the wire and they Order a new line. Everything worked fine until I got to Hay Tire. Ottohaus said it would be around $300. Also said it may have been a rat. I just can t help but think it was nicked by your mechanic And you should pay For this repair . Please contact me on Monday morning and let me know. I need to make several trips to Jacksonville and this is a big inconvenience to me and that I wasn t expecting.

workers there were so nice and caring. We are coming from out of state and from all the places we called this was the only one that answered first off and actually was nice about everything. Other places we gone in person and they had the most rudest ppl at the desk. Def recommend this place. Thanks guys.

A couple years ago, I switched to Hay from another local company that advertises on customer service. My service experience at Hay has been immensely better. The time estimates I get when dropping off my car are accurate. When the car is ready, I get a call, instead of me needing to call for status update. The receptionists recognize me when I return for my car.I bought a set of tires a couple years back. I might have paid more than a national chain (maybe not, I don't remember) but the follow-up service with two punctures has been great.

GREAT EXPERIENCE. Flat tire thanksgiving day. Called Hays Friday morning. They had a tire driven in from Columbia which arrived late, but Hays stayed open past their closing time to put on the tire. Very pleasant service people .Also price less than otherplaces estaminets.

Excellent, reliable service. They have always been straightforward and honest, the work quality is top notch, and the prices are very reasonable. I prefer to use Hay Tire in the Lowcountry!

It was a fantastic customer service experience. Hay Tire saved the day for us last week as we needed a low profile specialty tire for a badly damaged tire. Punched a curb and damaged my tires. Needed a tow late at night. Received an early morning call from HayTire .. Tires, alignment and brakes all check the next morning. Repairs made before end of that day. Service individuals kept me well informed. Thank you

I was visiting in Charleston for the holidays and drove into town all the way from Austin TX - in doing so we ended up with a tire in the back passenger tire of my Jeep grand Cherokee. I went to a few shops who were all full before landing at Hays. They were kind, professional and prompt! I would definitely go back!

If I could give them 20 stars I would! Traveling in the military it s hard to know where to go to get great service! They went above and beyond for us! Phil drove up to North Charleston twice to get us the right size tires for the challenger and they even fixed my truck s exhaust and it was just in for an oil change! They didn t even charge me for it! We can t say enough about how much we appreciate them!

The staff is friendly and helpful. Found me the right tire at the right price and were ready to install as soon as I arrived. Jeff had everything lined up and there were no surprises. As a part-time resident I would never go elsewhere.

Went around 7:30AM on a Saturday (without an appointment) for an oil change and tire rotation. Scott was able to squeeze me in on a busy day and had me out of there before noon. Great service and great staff. Will definitely be going back for all my trucks maintenance.

I had a very positive experience with Hay Tire Pros recently. They were very conscientious and explained that my tires needed to be replaced. They recommended tires that will be perfect for my general driving habits.They performed the work in a timeframe that was very helpful to me.I would recommend them to anyone wanting honest, top notch service!

I showed up right at 7:30 a.m. without an appointment and was greeted in a very friendly manner. RJ took care of my tire needs within an hour and explained everything very patiently and clearly. I will definitely use them again. I was especially grateful because Costco Tires and Gerald's were going to be at least a 4 hour wait.

I arrived after dark for my first visit to folly beach and hit one of the concrete median strips and put a pump knot on one of my tires. The next day, Hay Tire worked with my road hazzard warranty company and replaced my damaged tire the same day. Great Service. Terribly hidden concrete median lane strips.

You know how you have your favorite barber shop beacuse they do the job just right? Well Hay's is like that but for you car. Whatevery work they cannot do like transmission they send you to a quality professional that can. They have serviced my vechile over the past 3 years with affordable quality care. Not once have I had an issue with any work they have done the staff always makes time to actually listen to your mechanical issues and gives actual care. Best in the area!

My husband and I got there a little early and the service specialist jumped straight into action. We were there for an alignment of our Honda CRV. The service was fast. The atmosphere was clean . The Associates were courteous and kind. What more could we ask for. I would most definitely recommend Hay to my family and friends.
