My experience at Folly Road Auto Repair was great.I was a walk-in client, asked them if they could get my car in, they asked if I could drop it off the next day, which I did, they called me with a diagnosis, and we went from there.Within the next couple of days, I got my car back, and it seems to be running great.I'm very thankful to them for getting me in on short notice, and the way they articulated the issue, and fixed it.They were very upfront about the cost, and super helpful with answering any questions that I had.I'd definitely take my car back there!

Came to Folly Road Auto Repair because of their stellar reviews and because they are so close to home - excellent customer service and they took care of my car in record time.Very upfront about repair costs and time estimates - even when you don't make an official appointment.Don't hesitate to take your car here!

Love these guys: Honest / straightforward diagnostics and fair prices. Not only did they amazingly handle the mechanical restoration on my personal K5 Blazer, they got our Chevy work van back on the road in 24hrs, which was crucial for the business.

After reading all the great reviews of Folly Road Auto Repair I decided to call them to inquire about having my brake pads changed. Needed to know how long this would take as I'll need to wait on it. The fellow I spoke with was unprofessional & seemed completely uninterested in my business. Was told the job would take 2 hours but he couldn't get to it until next Wednesday. Can't believe he expects me to drive around with grinding brakes for a full week!

I needed a complete brake job for my ford f150 before I moved across the country. I also needed a new battery and to flush and swap out all fluids. Folly road auto repair was great. They were more than happy to help out. The job was done quickly and professionally. I trust them with my vechile. Thanks again!-Justin

I can t say enough wonderful things about the customer service and work they do at Folly Rd Auto Repair. I had an emergency and the team went out of their way to make sure I got my car fixed in time. I am thankful to have found this place and bravo to the team for taking such great care of the customers and cars. I won t take my car anywhere else now in Charleston! The team at Folly Road Auto was recommended to us, but I was hesitant as I've been burned before by shops in the area. What a great experience! They diagnosed the issue with my CRV, and got me back on the road within hours. It was so nice coming into an auto shop as a woman, and being treated with kindness and respect from every employee I encountered as well as the owner rather than being belittled. They didn't try to upsell me on any unnecessary repairs, and explained fully what they'd done to diagnose the problem. I was there for a couple of hours, and had pleasant conversations with Debby, Dennis, and the owner. I also witnessed multiple conversations between employees and with several vendors, and was impressed with the calmness, and tone of those interactions. It says a lot about the owner and business when the employees seem happy and content at work and with each other. I highly recommend Folly Auto, and in fact we left my fianc�'s Equinox when we picked up my car for a repair to his engine.

Can't say enough good things about these people. Found their shop completely by accident but I've been going there for several years now and been nothing but pleased. They are honest and trustworthy which in my mind are the most important qualities in an auto repair shop. Always straightforward about the problem, honest about the price, and prompt in their service. Highly recommend.

We've had two of our vehicles repaired by Folly Road auto repair. Both of my pastors have their vehicle serviced here as well. I was certain that I needed a new CV axle and so I took the vehicle there to have that replaced. They contacted me and told me that I did not need a CV axle but I did have another issue. They could have easily just replaced the CV axle and charged me if they wanted to. I appreciate their honesty. It's expensive to get cars worked on no matter where you go. So if I'm gonna have to pay a lot of money to get my car fixed I at least want to be able to trust who's doing the work to know they're not gonna do something that's unnecessary. I trust Folly Road auto repair in this way. They've worked on my 2018 GMC Yukon Denali that was covered under warranty, and they worked on my 2010 Honda Crosstour.

I cannot express how thankful I am for the great job Folly Rd.Auto did on my car.As a single woman with an older model car I have been taken by mechanics through the years. I am so happy a friend recommended them.They are truly honest & they did such a great job.

Folly Road Auto Repair is my preferred vehicle repair shop. Owners are honest and down to earth. They've done repair work on my truck a handful of times and it always runs great afterwards. I highly recommend this business.

Very efficient ,complete the job in a timely manner. A little pricey. They charge for office supplies. If you accept the job you should have your supplies to complete it. Overall I would recommend them highly

Anyone would be lucky to find a better shop than this. Great work great customer service. Honest and fair with every issue you may have. Couldn't recommend more. If you are looking look no where else but right here.

These guys are absolutely amazing. They charged me half the price of Firestone s quotes and were very communicative throughout the entire time they had my car. They are professional and great at what they do. They are honest and fair in their services and pricing and I will absolutely be going back.

Nice to have mechanics you can trust..... instead of trying to sell me an expensive door panel to fix my door handle issue... they devised an inovative (and inexpensive) way to fix the problem...i really appreciate it

This was my first visit there. The mechanics were very knowledgeable, honest and Friendly. The pricing was fair and reasonable. They will definitely have all of my future business!!Second visit: 10/2/23Took my car in because he was sounding horrible! I ended up needing an engine/AC fan replacement. They ordered the part and had me fixed within a couple of days! I have taken my car there a couple of times now and have an amazing experience with knowledgeable mechanics and service at a fair price! I will continue to take my car there for all servicing needs and repairs.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Folly road auto has been great. They are very genuine and honest. It s nice being a female and comfortable with what they tell me needs to be fixed and at a reasonable and fair price. I don t like going to most mechanics because I always feel like they are trying to rip me off because they think I m female and don t know better. Folly road auto repair is not like that though and always get the work done quickly! I m glad I found this place!

I really owe these guys a favorable review. I took my car in to see if they could repair a broken door latch. The guy says, "Sure, bring it in tomorrow morning." That's pretty fast with the appointment book. When I picked it up the next day after hours it did not appear the repair had been done. So, I called and left a bit of a sarcastic message. I showed up the next day to see what happened with my repair. They very calmly went over the repair and showed me that in fact it had been done and that the door latch they had replaced was, in fact, working properly. Then they gave me a year warranty. They are cool players and good mechanics. I will go back to them the next time I have an issue and with a 20 year old car, there will be a next time.
