Patrick is wonderful! He is and has always been very polite, helpful, and understanding. The guys there are thorough with their work and I haven't had any issues with the cars I've brought to them. I will only own a VW/Audi so i can keep using Nate & Patrick. We have taken our cars to them for the past 10+ years. You will not find more honest and fairly priced guys out there. Hands down- best car shop in Charleston

Nathan is a rock star! My grandson was given a 11 year old Jetta with neglected maintenance and some necessary repairs. Nathan diagnosed everything and had a list off which we decided what should be done to get it maintained and road worthy. He did a great job and had it ready in less than 24 hours. Nathan specializes in VWs and stocks parts in house so there is no waiting for parts to come in.I am impressed. Thanks NathanYou can see my happy grandson below.

So glad Charleston Wagen Worx came highly recommended, even by my Uber driver that picked me up when I dropped my car off. They took care of my warranty repair with no effort on my part, and completed a full interval service. The car was even cleaner than when I brought it in. This place is the best repair shop I have ever been to! The guys are always nice, helpful and always get me in and taken care of right away. I can swing in and get my oil topped off when the light pops on. No waiting or scheduling. And their service pricing is hands down the best! Unbeatable service and pricing.

Just got my wife's car back from Wagen Worx and I have got to say phenomenal job!!! She had to get her alternator and battery replaced. Great customer service! They stayed in touch with me throughout the process and kept me informed on everything that was going on including some issues that we were not aware of, but they were not pushy on us getting them done. In other words they weren't just trying to get more money out of us. The pricing of everything was so much better than the quotes I got from other places. Got the alternator and battery changed, oil change and a couple new tires. Took a day and a half. Two thumbs up!!! We will definitely be coming back if we have any other issues with her Audi.Services: Tires, Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

I have a headlight issue and my car is coming up on high mileage. They were able to get me in fairly quickly, and I was told to leave my car for the day. I dropped the car off at opening, 8am. After almost 6 hours, I had not received any calls about my vehicle. I called the shop and I was told they would call me back. They called after 15 min and essentially said the headlight cost and repair estimate and that I would need to leave my car for another day. When i picked up and asked why repairs and cost weren't provided to me for today, they said they don't have parts because they're a small shop. There were other noted recommended services that were not provided to me until pick up. I informed Nate that typically needed services are provided early on in the day, so the repair can be made, but I wasn't informed of anything. If they don't have the time for the repairs, they shouldn't schedule the cars.

Kevin North is exceptional. I met Kevin at Ethos and discussed the issues I was having with the Audi dealership. I was hesitant to use a mechanic outside of Audi, however I could tell very quickly Kevin was honest and had a ton of experience. I was told inaccurate information from the dealership and Kevin came to the rescue. Not only did he save me thousands, but he actually fixed the alignment + tire issues. Now, I will ONLY let Kevin work on my RS3 and his work is superior in comparison to the dealer at a fraction of the cost. I have referred 3 of my friends (Audi owners) to CHS Wagen Worx because of Kevin and they have raved about their experience. Thank you Kevin for your honesty, loyalty, and respect. I HIGHLY recommend Kevin at Charleston Wagen Worx!

Wagen Worx is a gem of an auto shop. The service is so great that our next purchase is going to be an Audi based on the fact that they ll be the ones to work on it when needed!We purchased a Volkswagen from Wagen Worx 4 years ago. It was not the dreaded experience that we all feel when it s time to buy a car! Nathan and his team were upfront and transparent with all matters regarding the transaction. Since then we have had all oil changes and maintenance work done by Wagen Worx. We also go to WW for any and all work on our Audi.They are not the typical auto shop. They are truthful, fair and their customer service goes beyond what any other shop or dealer in Charleston can offer. We have been to a lot of them having lived in Charleston over 2 decades.

Patrick is awesome! I ve recently moved to the area and was hoping to find a trustworthy and knowledgeable place to work on my beloved 2014 VW Bug Convertible. My search ended today when someone recommended this place. My bug had been making a loud noise whenever it s in drive ever since I got on oil change. The oil change guy said it was a loose engine mount and no need to fix it. It would just be an annoying sound I brought it in to Wagon Worx and Patrick knew right away what the problem was. He raised the car up and saw the Steel plate under the oil pan which is only on convertible bugs was rubbing against my engine. He fixed the plate and charged me a very reasonable $60!!!! He made other recommendations of repairs I needed and thoroughly explained why I needed them. I ve booked my next appointment for recommended repairs and I m happy to say I ve found my permanent mechanic in SC!!!! Happy to be bringing my car to someone I trust!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I brought my 2011 VW Tiguan into Charleston Wagen Worx after hearing some "grinding noises," I was very impressed with their exceptional service. The turn-around time on the fix was great. The team was highly professional. The cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend Charleston Wagon Werx to anyone needing professional VW repair and maintenance services.If you have a VW, bring it to a mechanic who knows VWs, not just "cars."

I plan to keep driving Audi/VW forever so I don t ever have to use another service shop. The Wagen Worx guys hunted all over the Carolinas for two weeks to find us an out of production part for a small repair.

So helpful and great service! Trusted for sure. Great guys that are really knowledgeable in what makes my Audi run! This is my second car that I have had them take care of. They explain everything to me and never push to get work done. They do warranty and maintenance work to keep me covered. Very reasonably priced. Very convenient on James Island. Highly recommended!

I will always be taking my car to this shop. This place has gained my trust since day one. I ve even purchased my very own Volkswagen from here in March. The sale was smooth and handled professionally by Pat. Also, Josh works on my car usually. Check ups, major fixes...and he never has failed on delivering. I can honestly speak for all of the workers there, they are phenomenal and I will not take my car anywhere else. I ve been to some shady spots and this definitely is NOT one of them. I can't say enough great things about Charleston Wagen Worx! Amazing service, very honest and the best pricing compared to a dealership. I normally have a pretty hectic schedule and they are always so accommodating! Thank you Nate for fixing my tires twice in 3 weeks due to an unfortunate run in with a nail and Patrick for answering my message after hours/waiting on me to pick up my key! Y'all are the best!

The AC went out in my car. I called these guys first thing the day after a holiday, during a 3 day stretch of 100 degree days. I was able to get in later that same day to get the AC fixed. I told them what was wrong - they immediately ordered the part and after lunchtime it had already arrived at the shop. While I was there they also squeezed me in for an oil change, balanced my tires, fixed a slow leak in a tire and reattached my license plate. Super nice guys. No attitude like at the dealership. Not feeling like I was bothering them. You can really tell this is more than a paycheck for them. They're true business owners and take pride in their work. Will definitely use them again. Thanks gents!!

Really great experience and plan to keep coming back. I ve now had my VW Rabbit serviced here for oil/brakes flush as well as had them check on a suspect coolant leak on a Beetle. They did not charge for discovering that the Beetle had a water pump that needed replacing since it only took a few minutes of their time and even went as far as to call and help us get an appointment that morning at the dealership (since car was still under warranty). Honest and friendly, fast and professional service. Thanks, Wagen Worx!

These guys are awesome, highly recommend. My first experience was giving them a call after a dealership quoted me an outrageous labor cost to install a $15 part. Wagen Worx quoted me hundreds less and could get it done in 30 minutes. That was a few years ago and I ve been going back ever since.One thing that stood out to me right away is how they treated me. As a woman, my typical experience with mechanics and dealerships is pretty frustrating. Lots of assuming I don t know what s going on and calling me pet names.The Wagen Worx team is very respectful and very helpful when I do have questions. They re just good people! They re honest with their work and their pricing. 10/10Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Oil change

Update: This place used to be a great place to take a VW. Nathan and Patrick were my go to guys. However, they've expanded and service has gone way downhill. They left the air intake cover off and just left it on top of the engine under the hood. They didn't replace the plastic protective cover that screws underneath the car and I drove on the interstate on my way home and it dragged the entire way before I got home and figured out what the noise was. Destroyed the cover. I also thought during one of the many services I've had (regular oil change, 160k full service, etc.) that they were rotating my tires. Nope. Just the two front are bald now. And if all that isn't enough, I was getting things out my trunk when I happened to notice they took the liberty of using my vehicle for free advertisements by putting their license plate frame on my car, WITHOUT MY PERMISSION! They have lost my business entirely. It's a shame they've become this way.

I stopped by today unannounced when the tire light came on in my Tiguan. Patrick quickly checked my tire pressure, added air and determined there was a nail in my tire. Within 10 minutes my tire was repaired and he noted that my keyless remote battery required replacement. He resolved that problem as well! I would highly recommend this business. They are helpful, friendly, efficient, and honest .

Nathan has been extremely pleasant to deal with even before we actually had our Touareg in for repairs. The prices are fair, the service was timely and the quote was exact. I really appreciated the open communication. We are taking our VW in for some additional service work very soon due to their appreciation of our business. Highly recommended.

The best car service I've ever had! I will not take my car anywhere else. After a car accident these guys fixed my car for a price that was $2,000 less than the dealer quoted me. It was unbelievable. They are great about sending you updates and clearly explaining the best course of action for your car. I recommend this place to anyone!
