My car was "smoking" the other day and I just so happened to be close to Bryson's garage. Austin was so nice and came out to look at it without hesitation! The radiator was leaking very bad. Derek also came to help look and both were so kind and honest about driving the car in that condition. Austin offered an appointment the NEXT DAY, called a Lyft ride for me, kept me up to date on the situation, and had it done is less than 24 hours!!! I highly recommend Bryson's garage, its a third generation family owned business with honest and caring people. Oh, and the price was great too!!! I will be taking my car there from now on for all my car needs even though I live about 30 minutes away.

I can not say enough about how grateful I am for the amazing service and quick work these guys did. I found myself in a tight spot and needed to get my alternator replaced. As a husband, father and an entrepreneur business owner that stays on the move constantly, I can not afford to be without my car.Austin took my call and after hearing my plight had me get my car in within the hour. The part needed was located, obtained, and installed before the end of business the same day! I know business demand fluctuates day to day but on this day I felt like a VIP, and could not think of anything to at could have been done better. Great customer service and quick work! What more could you ask for!Well done, Bryson s! Thank you! You turned what could have been a bad day into a great experience!

Great guys, great work. They always do their best to accommodate but are always very up front about expectations. Honest evaluations and pricing. All communications are backed up by texts with links and everything can be approved and paid for entirely without having to speak on the phone which is great for handling during meetings without losing repair time. The system also allows for making arrangements for after hours pickup. Can't recommend enough.

Austin & Mr. Robbie as well as the whole crew at Bryson's have taken care of my family as long as I can remember. They are the most honest, hard working guys in the business. They are extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy. I recommend them to anyone & everyone that needs a mechanic. They never disappoint!

The power steering went out on my Ram 1500, dealership quoted me $3300. Bryson s Garage got it done for under $1500 and they got it done faster than the dealership likely would have. And they maintained good communication throughout the process. These small business garages run on good reputation and these guys have definitely earned it.

Someplace that I, recommend for my entire family, including grandmother and children to take my vehicles to exclamation, exceptional integrity, and a long standing, 50+ year multi generational business that does not charge for high-quality parts and treats everyone s vehicle like it s their own when it comes to repair cost. honest mechanics with beyond skilled work . My #1 recommendation in Charleston County for general automotive repairs.

My wife and I have been taking our cars to Bryson s for about 2 years now. I don t normally write reviews, but I thought it time to thank them for their service over this time. We find them to be very honest, flexible on making appointments and seemingly always looking for alternative fixes to reduce our repair cost. Austin and his team are terrific guys and although there is always the stress of unknown issues with our cars not operating properly, we never stress that these guys will look out for our best interest. And we always feel proud to support locally owned and operated businesses. Two huge thumbs up for Brysons on Wappoo Dr, James Island.10/04/22: we just had a client and her husband that moved here from Maryland, she sent us a sweet note saying how thankful she was we shared our local car doctor with them. She has been amazed at Austin and team's thoroughness and honesty. Good combination, but these guys don't try at it, that's who they are.

Mr. Robbie Bryson repaired my brake caliper for my Acura TL about a year ago because it was making a screeching noise and engaging and constantly braking while I was driving. I had another issue with my car making noise recently and Mr. Bryson checked out my car and made sure all was well again. Very polite and on time service and an honest man. Very reasonable and kind. Was very considerate about me dropping off my car/keys, and picking it up again to work around my busy schedule. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a good service on their car.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Battery

Bryson's garage was fantastic! I highly recommend to anyone with car trouble! Austin was very patient and explained in layman's terms what was wrong with our car and the multiple options for how it could be repaired. Their quote was a great price and they were able to get a major problem fixed overnight for us! Austin also kept us up to date about the progress of the work and was willing to answer additional questions my husband had as well. Great place!!

Brysons garage raises the bar on expectations for a mechanic shop. I made an appointment to weeks in advance, dropped off my car at the appointed time, they called in a couple of hours and said my car would be ready the same day despite a substantial amount of work that had to be done to it. Their prices are very fair especially considering how little time it took them to do everything, giving me the freedom to not have to deal with finding alternative transportation overnight.

Ausitn and his crew are absolutely the best around. I take 4 different vehicles here for all kinds of different service and have never been disappointed. As far as honesty and price they can't be beat. There have been multiple times he could have charged me for parts and repairs that others have told me I needed but Austin has told me I didn't need it or it could wait. You just don't stumble across that kind of morality and ethics in business anymore. This is why they will always have my business! Thank you Austin and crew for watching out for my families safety and my wallet!!

If you need work done to your used vehicle no longer under warranty, this is your place. The front desk staff and mechanics treat you like family and provide a high quality of repair work with a heavy dose of honesty. I was shocked to make an appointment for vehicle work - but they book their customers and stick to their timeline with efficiency. They charged a fair price and gain business by word of mouth. I m sure they would do excellent work for fleet maintenance for commercial clients as well. I won t take my vehicle anywhere else in Charleston. This place is a gem!

I can not say enough about Austin and the crew at Bryson's. I trust Austin implicitly because he has proven time and again that he has my safety and best interests at heart. He always tells me if I really need a repair and exactly how long I can go and still be safe to drive. He is a consummate professional and didn't hesitate to tell me when it was time to stop putting money into my 17 year old car. The whole Bryson team is amazing! They always manage to fit you in when you are in need of urgent repairs - they give you an honest opinion and always check in with you about costs before doing the actual work! Austin and the entire crew at Bryson's took good care of me and did the job right! Took my 4Runner in with a check engine light and bad vibration. Initially they thought they had it fixed and returned it, but the vibration returned on the way home. Called Austin and he immediately took it back while apologizing and promised to make it right. They fixed it the next day and it hasn't had an issue since. I appreciate their honesty and integrity, how they dealt with the issue speaks volumes of the shop and the people there. Will be taking all our family vehicles there in the future!

Austin and his team are the best mechanics I've had in my life (I've had a license for 15 years). They charge generous prices, give you an honest assessment every time, and they don't tack on charges like other garages do. When I paid my bill last time I said "That's it?" 5/5 stars isn't enough stars!

These guys are very friendly and real. They told me the reason my caliper froze on my car was because Gerald's tires (west ashley) put a bent rim on new tires...I told them it was wobbling. Some hub issues but Gerald's only told me brake and rotors cause they know they screwed up.

I m so thankful to have found an auto repair shop I can trust and has fair prices. Austin made everything so easy. He explained everything to me and let me know upfront what I would be paying down to the cent. There were no surprises. I couldn t have been more pleased with my experience. I highly recommend Brysons.

I stopped by on a Friday because my check engine light was on after driving down to Asheville and I was concerned I would be able to make it back. Even the owner had all day appointments and was short handed, he immediately came to look at my car and ran a diagnostic on it. He advised me what the problem was am offered a few solutions that could work to get me back home. He did all of this without charging me anything. Super kind, super knowledgeable. I was in tears because I was so grateful for his kindness and help. Thank you, thank you!!
