I had Sammie Powell as my sales rep. He was wonderful. He only showed me what I was looking for and the price range I asked. He was patient with me throughout the whole process. His whole team was amazing and really did all they could to get me not only the best deal on the car but the best loan. They took the time to answer any and all questions and made sure that I was comfortable with every step we took. I would definitely recommend Sammie Powell to anyone looking to get a new or used car.

Baker Motor Company (MB), Valerie, Coin, my sales person, was phenomenal in understanding my needs, and finding what I wanted quickly. The sales process was smooth and easy even though I did the entire thing remotely as I live in another state. I would highly recommend Baker Motor Company (MB) as a place. to purchase a vehicle. The team there is professional, efficient, & a pleasure to deal with. They represent the best of Mercedes-Benz and the type of experience one would expect from this brand. Looking forward to an ownership experience that is equally as good.

I recently moved to the area and needed service for my GLC. The Baker team was not very helpful. They were not willing to talk maintenance schedules, work performed, or anything resembling a luxury experience. Although they completed a complimentary cleaning, they instantly made it dirty due to construction (and a lack of attention to detail). Lastly, they charge an additional 3% fee for card charges. What, should I write a check?!? I will most likely find another service center and probably not purchase another MB if this is the standard at Baker.First changed my appointment time, but stated I could drop it off. When I showed up, they initially were unable to find my service records and attempted to convince me to pay for services that were inconsistent with MB recommended maintenance. Finally they were able to find my records and adjusted the quote. During the service intake, I also asked for a tire balancing. The advisor said they would look at it too.When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, my service advisor was nowhere to be found. Another advisor directed me to the cashier (where they charged an extra 3% on card payments!!!), and then I was told to sit down to wait and someone would call me when my car was ready. Eventually a random advisor recognized me and my car and directed me to my GLC sitting outside and ready to roll (no called me to go over the service). When I got out to the vehicle, there was sand on the floor mats from a technician s shoes, and now there was a new service warning in the dash. I took it to another advisor and they took it back again correct the issue.

I m A First Time Car Buyer And This Experience Was Everything With The Help Of Ms. Valerie Coin. She helped me in ways I couldn t even imagine, with not being able to purchase the car I wanted; She still made sure I Was Able To Drive Off The Lot With A Car. Rick Giglio helped me flawlessly with my 3rd purchase from Baker Motors. I was versed walking in, but Rick took me to a new level of where Mercedes has gone since my prior AMG purchase in 2015. I can t recommend Rick any higher and thank him & Baker for continued interest in my satisfaction weeks/months after ownership. I recently brought my 2021 Mercedes GLE 350 into Baker Mercedes to have it serviced and I was SUPER impressed with the service I received from my new service advisor, Ricky! So impressed that I knew I needed to jump on here and write it publicly! Ricky was incredibly friendly and professional, answered ALL of my questions (and I had A LOT), texted me with updates as my car was being serviced, chatted with me after the service to explain what all was done and helped explain when to schedule future services! I left feeling like I had an advocate in the service department, which was SUCH a nice feeling! Ricky, thank you for your excellent service! Baker did a great thing when they hired you!

Worse dealership experience EVER!!!Hubby and I went in to purchase a 2024 GLS 450 with check in hand. We were told that they didn t accept the CU check and refused to speck with CU s loan officer to verify funds.The gentleman in the finance department was rude and was uninterested in selling us the vehicle. Very disappointing!!!We felt like we were treated differently because of who we are- honestly, we felt discriminated against.This is our 3rd Mercedes purchase and we ve never had any issues until then. We wanted to give Baker of West Ashley a shot, but they failed miserably. The next day we went to Hendrick s Motors Mercedes of Charlotte where we purchased our previous Mercedes and was treated with the upmost respect; they were very attentive to our requests. We presented them with the same CU s check and was able to drive away with our new 2024 GLS 450 in less than 30 minutes. They understood the process and assisted us promptly and professionally.Hendricks Motors of Charlotte is the BEST Mercedes dealership in the South.(We are local business owners and would never treat anyone the way we were treated or recommend this dealership.)

I watched them through the glass. They worked on my car for 2 hours and charged me for 4 hours. When I got home and checked my car, I found out that they didn't replace the cable, because I marked the old one the week before. I also noticed that my air ducts were missing. I'm debating if I should just buy new air ducts and never go back to Baker. I paid $1500.00 for parts that were not installed, and I took before and after pictures to verify it. I'm a mechanic with over 30 years experience.

Outstanding sales and service experience in my lease purchase of my 2024 Cadillac XT5.My salesman, Noah and my service tech Jason were professional, knowledgeable and very accommodating.Noah in sales went out of his way to answer my questions and to make sure that I was comfortable with the details of my new lease concerning costs, terms, length and options. He explained the benefits of a lease versus purchase based on my usage and travel objectives.Jason explained the various details of my service contract warranty and helped me understand the best way to work the various features of the XT5.I was totally impressed with the Baker Motors sales and service experience provided in the lease of my new 2024 Cadillac XT5.This is the second vehicle that I ve leased from Baker and I m sure that I will be returning for my third after this lease is finished.My thanks to the entire Baker Cadillac team especially to Noah and Jason.Pat Manna

What a rip off business. They charge everyone a $50.00 supply fee on their repair invoices for training their employees! On top of that, they will not take your credit card payment over the phone, however, they will send you a payment link and charge you a 3% credit card fee! Will never take my vehicle back to this dealership.

Tara's personality, positivity, and professionalism, coupled with her knowledge of the vehicle I was purchasing gave me confidence throughout the process.When it came time to hammer out the final offer, Tara and the rest of the Baker Motor Company staff were thorough, reasonable, and professional. They explained everything in detail. As someone with not a lot of experience with this process, it was nice to not feel pressured.Thanks to Tara and Baker Motor Company as a whole on facilitating my purchase of the Alfa Romeo Stelvio! Pierre Renault is the service manager here and my family has known him for over 15 years! I cannot imagine working with anyone else! He is amazing, he treats us like his family and makes sure we are taken care of. We continue he to buy from baker because of him. I would not bring my Mercedes anywhere else or to anyone else but him and his team. He s knowledgeable, curtesy, and so compassionate. If his management is reading this, he needs a raise and more vacation days ha ha thanks for everything P!!

Got a brand new GLC 300 less than a month ago, speakers static uncontrollably.. service department booked me for an appointment in Dec. But said call back if it keeps happening. Called back several times.. "everyone is busy, I'll tell them to give you a call back shortly". This was 24 hours ago and now it's Saturday.. customer service is 0/10. Car isn't even a month old yet! My car has been at Baker for repairs for OVER 6 months! I've heard multiple stories as to why it hasn't been finished yet. The car went in, mid July and it's now the end of January with no end in site! I was told in September that the parts had been ordered and it would be completed by the end of October. I called the first week of November and was told that the parts they ordered "disappeared " and had to be re-ordered and that it would now be completed by the end of November. I called multiple times and left messages without any response whatsoever! I finally spoke with someone the end of December and they promised me that it would be finished by January 11th! It's January 26th and now they say they're going to order the parts so it can be completed by the end of February! I do not believe or have any faith whatsoever that it will be finished by the end of February! Now they also say that it might be totaled! If that's the case they could've made this decision 6 months ago and I'd have another car by now! We bought this car from Baker and I can assure you that I will never do business with Baker again.

I was in the retail automobile business for 40 yrs, and a owner/dealer for 29 yrs. As you can imagine I am very aware of customer service, both good and bad. I've never had a better retail experience with any company regardless of the product. Sammie Powell, and all others of the Baker employee team were exceptional. I bought the preowned Mercedes sight unseen and had it delivered to my home 5hrs away. The car was perfect and arrived on time. All dealerships should strive for this level of customer satisfaction. Thanks to everyone involved.

I bought my 2013 Honda CR-V on Sept 29 from Cornelius and he was wonderful. I didnt feel pressured to get a car. I had the car over an hour to test drive it. They got me the payment I was looking and everything went smooth.They answered all my questions. I was referred to them by friend that her into a car that she loves. Best store in SC to buy an AMG Benz or G Wagen. Of five Mercedes-Benz dealers in the state, Baker is the best one by a stretch. Old-money oldheads and trust-fundies looking for their first luxury car new or used should come here before going anywhere else.

I have nothing but positive things to say about my car buying experience at Baker Motor Co. Due to my past experiences at the Honda dealership and ford dealership I dreaded going car shopping. Prior to working with Sammie I had never come in contact with a car salesman that genuinely wanted the best for the customer. I went to LOOK at cars that day with 0 intention of purchasing a vehicle. A few short hours later I drove off the lot with a 2022 C300. Sammie took note of what I was okay with paying and my limitations. Instead of being pushy, and making me look at less expensive cars, he took time to figure out how to get the best deal for me. I felt more than comfortable signing on the dotted line and driving away in my dream car. Happy to be apart of the Mercedes family. Thanks again Sammie!

Took my car in for service and was out of town so I had to pick it up after hours. I had to then pay on .line for the service fees which were over $2,000 this was not the issue. The issue was the fact that they had the nerve to charge a 3% "convenience fee" Convenient for who?? Feeling like I was ripped off when I already pay a premium for a Mercedes We have had service at numerous dealerships in the North East for over 35 years and have never had a convenience fee assessed for using a credit card. Was I expected to show up with a bag of money to pay for this service? How do you expect a client to pay after hours? Ridiculous Feeling ripped off

I bought a 2022 Mercedes Benz GLE 350 and had a great experience. On my first visit, I didn t have time to complete the purchase process on the vehicle, so I left a deposit (easy to do with the link sent), and came back a couple of days later and picked up my beauty. Great service from Sammie and Steve.

Unfortunately, we had a poor buying experience. We recently purchased a certified pre-owned 2022 Sprinter passenger van over the internet. The van arrived without a working air conditioner, without a temporary tag, and it had previously been smoked in, which was not disclosed.If you are buying a certified pre-owned vehicle from here and you can't test drive it before you buy, you should know the certification process appears to have some significant gaps, and the information on things like whether the vehicle was previously smoked in can not be assumed to be disclosed. If it matters to you, you need to ask, and get it in writing.

After a very frustrating experience at another Baker dealership, this one changed our minds. We walked in frustrated with the car buying experience but we were greeted warmly by Garrett. We did not tell him right off the bat the bad experiences we had. We simply stated are needing a new car because we are trading in a lease on another make and model that we don t care for anymore. He helped us for some time but due to an existing appt he needed to lean on a colleague to assist. We we happily accepted.This is where things turned even more amazing. Isabella aka Issy was outstanding. Easy going, not pushy, educated, fun and knowledgeable. I walked into this dealership like I have for years they will talk to him, address him and I am the one buying. She turned that around as well. She elevated the experience. We were happy with the SUV we drove and about to put a deposit on it but stopped. Why? Mercedes was next store-> no problem I can help you know a bit about them. Wow ok let s go! Long story short too late Issy sealed a deal on a car for us and forever sending people her way and for that matter Land Rover/range rover/Mercedes/Porsche!So we can not forget Adam the sales manager, great, sweet, through and awesome. Georgia GM who was not pushy or awkward. Barrett, finance guy at Porsche, who helped us to seal the deal financially was just another testament to great job you do with Land Rover/range rover/Mercedes/Porsche.Longest review ever thank you!!
