Steve and Brian were great! Got out to me within a few hours and diagnosed my furnace. Took everything apart and tested each component individually to confirm. Recommended the part and was even straight forward enough to tell me that it d be a lot less time (and money) if I go by the part and diy it. Even took the time to show me how to do it before he left. Sure enough, I was able to get the part (instead of him ordering it) and put it in (harder than expected but doable). These guys saved me and my family from a very cold week on our travels. Can t recommend enough.

Steve is so wonderful! He quite literally saved our booties! We are completely new to using a travel camper and used regular fluffy tp in our toilet. BIG no no. My husband tried for nearly 3 days to fix the clog and Steve fixed it like a PRO! He was kind, patient (we have 3 dogs and 1 is a crazy obnoxious barker, which we're in their kennel), knowledgeable, and informative (he happily shared his knowledge). If you have any RV or Travel Trailer/camper issues, please give him a call. You will NOT be disappointed! Oh, and his prices aren't assstronaumical. STEVE IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!

I am on my third motorhome so you know I have seen a fused a lot of RV repair companies. Without a doubt or hesitation First Choice RV repair is the best I have ever used They are on time their work is first right and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend calling first choice. If I could go six stars instead of five I would

I called on a Thursday, had a mobile appt on Tuesday and was repaired in 20 minutes. Water heater switch was broken and hard to get to. Steve did a fantastic job. He is professional yet friendly and polite. I would recommend him any time.

Professional and Friendly Service for my AC repair. Responded next day after my initial contact. Even though problem was not repeating, Steve inspected the unit and identified and corrected 2 "from the factory" issues that had caused the intermittent operation. Fair charges as well. Our service tech was awesome. He was willing to do anything we needed with no problems. He replaced our bad tire with our spare and swapped places with another tire that was wearing funny too. All work was completed in less than 30 minutes. He saved us!

They came out and tried unsuccessfully to fix my problem which wasn't easy. They spent hours trying and only charged me for a service call. They get an A for effort and I didn't begrudge the service fee at all.

I ve had 1st choice do work on my camper and warranty checks. He has been great, but even better when I have an issue or question, he always answers my question and points me in a direction that is best for me - even if it doesn t drum up any business for him. Good at his work and very credible person. Highly recommend!!

Great friendly service ac was bad still under warranty made a appointment with Brian came done all info and he took care of everything with GE within 5 days new ac installed thanks definitely recommend 1st choice rv

First appointment he never showed. Second appointment he showed up three hours late and installed the vent hood crooked such that the fan couldn't open. Third appointment I sent him a text message the morning of our appointment which he confirmed, and guess what... never showed.

I contacted 1st Choice to make some repairs on my RV. Joe returned my call the next day and then came to my RV the next day. He called when he said he would and arrived exactly on time to my RV. He was polite and efficient. Made my repairs promptly at a reasonable cost. I use 1st Choice again and highly recommend.

Steve is awesome! We called him last minute to come fix an electrical problem with our RV. We discovered the issue yesterday while back home in FL and had no choice but to get on the road today to keep to our schedule of commitments. Steve squeezed us into his schedule and was even waiting for us when we pulled into the campground. He was able to diagnose and fix the problem within an hour. He was extremely courteous, outgoing and professional. Steve even took the time to explain what he was doing and what to look for in case we run into a similar situation down the road. Also, he managed to squeeze in a minor repair on our awning. His pricing was extremely reasonable. We won t hesitate to use his services again if we find ourselves with an RV problem and we are in the Charleston area. Thanks so much, Steve!!!

I needed to get an awning repaired on a new RV. I knew I needed someone to fix it and decided to give 1st Choice RV a call. They ordered the part. They came and installed the part. The price was really good and the fact that he came to my RV was even better. Steve knows his stuff, got the work done, and I am really satisfied with the results. I recommend 1st Choice RV and will use them if I have future issues.

Touched base with Steve a week before arriving in Charleston. He got approval from our extended warranty company and came out the morning after we arrived with a new microwave ready to install. In and out in no time. Great service

We were camping 900 miles away from home and during our first day in Charleston it was 85 degrees out and our air conditioning was not working. I left a message for Steve Friday after the office had closed and he promptly called me back first thing Monday morning. He walked me through how to reset the AC computer controller which fixed our problem ASAP. I offered to pay for his service call which he declined. I was extremely impressed with his service. This review should be 100 stars! I will definitely keep his name and number and would refer him to anyone. Just wish his business was closer to our homre state! He is top notch! Called Joe on a Thursday for a leaking toilet in our RV. He arrived first thing Friday morning and removed the toilet to discover the vacuum breaker valve was broken. Not having one in stock and knowing we were leaving in two days, he manufactured parts, told me what to order and got us back in operation. He is a very personable gentleman who knows what he is doing and doesn't overcharge. Having been full timing for five years, we have discovered that isn't always the case. If you are in need of service in Charleston or Myrtle Beach, give him a call.

We are full time RVers and have several issues with our fridge.When we, again, had our fridge stop cooling and freezing we called 1st Choice as we were visiting Charleston.Steve was the best service person we have ever had work on our coach.He immediately diagnosed the issue, worked around our schedule to install the ordered part and even sent time giving us some tips on how to take care of our slide outs and leveling jacks.I would recommend calling him before anyone else.

Totally rude and unprofessional. I spoke to Steve who said he was going to come out to repair the awning arm of my RV. He said he could come out the following day, so I told him I'd wait there at my trailer. We have two small kids and are staying in an RV park with no shade and no awning. We waited all day, and my kids were over heating and so I sent Steve a message asking him to call me when he got here. I know he got the message because he had previously replied to my text. We went to the pool for an hour or so and when we came back his card was in my door. I had no missed calls and no text messages. I called him and got no answer. I left a voice message and also sent him a text, and no reply.The next day I saw a truck with his logo on it drive into the RV park and I was really excited, hoping he was coming back. Instead he drove right by me to another RV, and I went over there, and he was sitting, looking at this RV with his back towards me. I asked him why he didn't call when he was at our trailer that we had waited all day for him. I asked him if he got my text messages. He didn't even have the decency to turn around. Instead I had to look at his butt crack and got rude one word answers. Just unbelievable how rude and unprofessional some people can be. I've seen lots of 1 stars in his review because it appears he is rude, apathetic, and doesn't show up. The only good reviews he has are when he completes a job. Even if he knows what he's doing, there's no way I'd do business with a person like that. Find someone else.

The hot water heater stopped working. Called 1st Choice RV Repair after several recommendations from other campers. It took a while to diagnose because the problem ended up being a wiring problem. It was repaired and he answered all our questions and explained the problem and its probable cause. We had Joe who was outstanding in every way. I think they are very reasonable.

In November I had a leaking water heater. Called 1st Choice and the came out and determined my tank had a hole in it and needed replacement. They ordered a new water heater (twice the price as Amazon). After it was installed, still had a leak and they returned to tighten a fitting. Now the water is flowing out the faucet at 185 deg! Called again and they jerry rigged a switch outside and said it was fixed . Still 185 deg and not working on elect.I spent over $1500 and still didn t have a usable water heater.I m now in Louisiana and getting it fixed correctly.

I was very impressed with Joe and his work re a slide out issue on my MH.He was an hour late but he called and told me he would be as the earlier job took longer than expected, as did mine. The charges were very reasonable especially considering the work and travel time. I recommend and will use again.

Haven't had any work done via 1st choice but had a problem with my transfer switch recently and while Joe wasn't available to work on it, he did spend time with me on the phone diagnosing the problem. Moving to a new site solved the issue for that night but I'll be following up on several recommendations he made, to prevent any future problems. if I'm ever in the area again and need some work done, I won't hesitate to contact 1st choice!

Steve was out today to do a service and cleaning on my ac unit. I was very happy with his work. Professional and qualified. I will be calling him for any work I need done. I think I got lucky to find such a good guy. Very happy.

AC konked out on a Sunday evening. Steve came out at 9am Monday. He had to order a part but got it working temporarily. Part took 2 days to arrive but at least we had ac during 90 plus temperature. Fair prices and great service. A big thanks to Steve.

Sent an email on Monday night. Steve responded and came to our site on Tuesday.The issue was the passenger side slide not extending or retracting.Steve was determined and did find the issue which was an simple fix. Steve was friendly, professional and reasonably priced.

I cannot tell you how happy I am with First Choice RV Repair! We had our galley wastewater tank leaking at the dump pull and Steve had it fixed quickly and it cost us half of what it would have through any other service. Again, if you are looking for an honest, reputable, fair and dedicated RV repairman Steve is the one you want! This will from now on be out go to guy for all our RV needs. Thanks again Steve! You are the man!

Thank you Joe for coming out to our RV site and diagnosing the slider motor problem. You did it quickly and professionally and are pleasant to work with. You ve got the part ordered up, even though the manufacturer was slow in responding, got it shipped out overnight, so we can get it installed in a couple of days, and back on the road. I d recommend Joe for your RV service.

What a pleasure! Quick, efficient, aforable repair. Scheduled service this morning; Joe completed the work this afternoon. He was knowledgeable and personable. He was running a little late, but called and gave me a heads up about that. Told me what the problem was and gave me pics to use as instructions should we experience the same issue again.Hope we won't need to, but if we do have future RV problems, we WILL be calling 1st Choice RV.

This service was exceptional. Joe was a very pleasant man clean courteous and did his job well. When he left the only trace he had been there was that noww my washing machine now worked. I would call him again without hesitation
