Riley, Thomas and the whole team took care of my dilemma of making sure I had safe tires to get back to Virginia. They were all so kind and welcomed the task plus got me in and out in time as I had my service dog with me and got all the attention. Recommend this organization.

I am a mess when it comes to cars. I ve driven beaters all my life and repairs are common. Nothing stresses me out more than car issues. Gerald s always treats me like I m their little sister who just needs a hand. Their prices are fair and they will go out of their way to get you the best deal possible for a fast repair. They are always calm and kind on the phone even when I ask 20 (probably stupid) questions. I will never take my car anywhere else. Thank you Gerald s!!

My back passenger tire started losing air and I had gone to Mavis tires in summerville, where I had waited over 2 hrs, with an appointment, to have it looked at. Nobody told me upon arrival that they were running that far behind schedule. If they had then i would have rescheduled. Then they told me the cheapest tire they had was over $100 without it being balanced and mounted or road hazard protection. Needless to say I left. Went home looked around and decided to try a different place and made an appointment for 8am. Once there the lady informed me that nobody would be there until 9am and that they didn't have the tire I wanted in stock so it would be over $120 for the 1 tire plus balance, mounting & road hazard protection. Plus I might would have to wait a day or 2, so I told her never mind. I got back in my car and called Gerald's tires & Breaks, who were absolutely amazing!! Not only was everyone I spoke to on the phone super nice but they had the tire i needed and it was under $130 which included balancing and mounting, along with road hazard protection!! Once i arrived everyone was all smiles and super nice! I will definitely be coming back here for my tires & breaks when needed!! If you haven't given them a chance then you are missing out.

I rarely give out reviews but I just couldn t pass up the opportunity this time. Stephanie has amazing customer service skills. She is super friendly, very patient and knows her stuff. You can t miss the deals at this place either. The people and their quality of work is the reason I come back! Thanks

I appreciate their service but they completely lie about wait time to get you to use them. I was told 2.5 hours and I waited around 5. Not fair. If they were honest I would have gone somewhere else or tried another time. They stole my entire day from me for their profit.

I had a nail in my tire and was afraid to start my commute home. I asked if they could take a look at it. They were professional, helpful and pleasant to work with. They repaired my tire and had me on my way in no time. I was very grateful for them today.

I always bring my car to Gerald s as they have always done great work. Took my Toyota in for new tires, but also asked them to check the engine light. To preface I had my crankshaft fixed by another auto shop and after they got done with it, the check engine light would still come on periodically. I took my car back to this auto shop and they told me no codes popped up for them, even though the check engine light had been on. I found this sketchy and asked the workers at Gerald s if they could check to see if there were any codes. Stephanie at Geralds told me they had found 4 different codes involving the crank shaft. I was so upset as I felt I had been taken advantage of. But Stephanie at Gerald s was so amazing and she gave me tips on how to move forward with the crankshaft and the auto shop. She told me they work very hard to be a trust worthy tire shop and I can definitely say they do a great job. Love Gerald s 10 out of 10 would recommend!

I'm the proud owner of a 2022 Ford Mustang. On Sunday, I noticed that one tire was slack, and sure enough - it had a nail in it. On Monday morning, I took it to my regular car service place, but because the car came with low profile tires, they were reluctant to repair the tire for fear of damaging the wheel. I appreciated their honesty, so I called a local Ford dealership, and they said "Yes" they fixed tires, but the next appointment they had was in February. (Today is Jan. 8th.) So that wasn't going to work. And then my wife suggested Gerald's. I called the Savannah Hwy location and Connor told me they could take care of it and to bring it by. Now, they were busy, and I decided to leave it instead of wait on it. Connor said it would take a couple of hours, and so I called in a couple of hours, and my Mustang was ready! Rich checked me out. The cost to fix the tire (to take it off the wheel, patch it, and put it back on the wheel) was cheaper than I thought. Gerald's is now going to be my "GO TO" location for anything tire related. Thanks to Connor, Rich, and the techs that took care of my baby. I appreciate it!!

As in the past, friendly and professional staff. They plugged my tire, no charge and explained that I needed 2 front tires.Left a rose in my car.Very thankful! They get things done!

Gerald's was amazing! From the lowest quote I received from five different vendors in town, to the lovely ladies at the front making me feel welcome from the minute I walked in the door, to the roses on my door after service, to the EXTRA roses I received after they fixed my tire, it was simply a perfect visit and so grateful and thankful to the entire team. Happy New Year and to continued success in 2024!

This is why I always go to Gerald's Tires. They go out of their way to acommodate. I had a flat tire yesterday afternoon and I have low profile tires. I got to the Gerald's Tires West Ashley location around 5:30 pm and had early meetings the next morning as well. They went out of their way to find the right tire for me, made arrangements and had my car ready to go as soon as they opened just so I could get to my meetings in time. They called and texted me to make sure I knew my car was ready. Good price as well. They actually care. Great customer service by everyone.

The devil done got the best of me this month and I was a little short on the money for a tire. After pestering granny I was able to come up with what I needed and Connor done let me jump the line to get service. Also James slapped the fixin all up on that tire in no time and I m back on the road stress free. Another great day at Gerald s!

First time here! Showed up on an almost deflated tire. A screw had gotten stuck in my tire and then flew out on the way to Gerald s. Had a little confusion on moving my car with some of the customer service guys from the back I work in the hospitality business, and have for 30 years. TJ saved the day , with his quick, top notch customer service today. I will be returning for all my tire needs and asking for him! Hang on to that guy! I found a nail in my tire when leaving work one afternoon.. my tire was almost completely flat. I used my portable inflator and went straight to Gerald s on Savannah Hwy to see if it was able to be patched- they generously fit me in at 4:55pm on a Monday. Deana and Rich were super friendly and helpful. Much appreciated that I didn't have to wait on AAA and/or drive to Summerville on a spare. There s a reason they ve been in business for so long- they provide the customer service no one else has anymore. Many thanks

Had the BEST experience with the guys at Gerald s! They repaired my suspension, shocks, and new breaks! They gave me a free tire rotation and cleaned out my sunroof drain! So thankful for them!

This could have been 5 stars until I got to my car in the back lot. See attached photos of how I found it parked into a cement wall. Luckily I already have some rock chips over the course of my cars 13 yr life and lucky I am not a crazy person and have reason to not storm back into the office. Just wanted to make all who drive your customers cars aware of what NOT to do. The cheapest bumper I found used and not painted to match yet was 2k. Any further into the wall and we would be filing an insurance claim against you. Easily preventable. I will say the front office girls and the gentlemen who did drive my car (blue shirt, lack of hair) prior to me leaving were nice and gave me a rose. Might come back, might not. Please do better

Came in at noon Saturday with a flat tire. Not only did Deana help me with a smile, but her and a coworker spent the extra time looking through old stock to find a tire that matched mine since they couldn't patch it. Would give 6 stars if possible!

The gold standard for how to run a business! There is a reason Gerald s has the reputation it does. When you walk in, you are greeted with a smile and when you leave, you are thanked for your business. I cannot say enough good things about my recent visit here to fix one of my tires. Gerald will have my business for life.

On July 22nd I was in SC on my last day of a family road trip and was scheduled to continue our trip to another state that same day. I visited Gerald's Tires & Brakes (at Savannah Hwy and 1 Magnolia Rd. location) without an appointment and a nail in the rear right side tire of my SUV. Despite the long line of customers waiting to be served, the service advisor at the front desk was extremely helpful and courteous. Service was completed very professionally, effectively and efficiently. I was expecting to have to replace the tire with a new one since it was already diagnosed at a big chain store the prior day but not purchased due to unavailability.On top of that, they didn t want to charge me even a penny. Obviously I tipped the employees involved, they were hesitant to accept it and extremely grateful. They did their best and we made it on time.It was a very pleasant experience, these days it s extremely hard to find an honest and selfless business as this one. This business really does strive for high quality and their employees reflect that influence incredibly.

Raleigh visitors to downtown Charleston for wife s Bday weekend.Flat tire discovered Saturday @ hotel. We were desperate for quick patch for return trip to Raleigh. Heartless Firestone turned us away.Chrystl and Connor at Gerald s saved the day! Patched out Acura RDX flat with a smile and rose for my wife!. Damaged my wheel and didn't own up to it. I had low profile tires mounted on my front wheels. While Ben, the kid behind the desk, and Brandon were nice and worked fast, it wasn't until I got home and went to wash my car that I noticed the damage. Firstly, you could tell they had problems mounting my tires because of all lubricant coated on my tires and wheels. It would've been nice if they at least wiped it off. Secondly, there is a huge gash in the lip of the wheel that was obviously caused by poor handling. When returning to the shop they quickly denied any wrong doing because "our machine has a rubber cover on it". That's great and all but what about the rest of the machine, they were throwing around wheels and tires like the place was on fire. It would've been real easy to damage the wheel just by banging it on the claws that hold it to the tire mounting machine. I trusted that Gerald's would be able to properly mount my tires without issue. I was wrong and left with a company that tried to say I caused the issue. If you don't care about the condition of your wheels and how they may be returned to you, then go for it. Everyone else, stay away!

I want to think clay at Gerald's Deana for being polite courtesy helpful knowledgeable and hard working Connor for going above and beyond and professional noel for a great job James /Jimbo for his hard work as well with my tires and last but not least TJ great technician I was very impressed and pleased how they want all of them went above and beyond to make sure that my car was very well taken care of me as well with all my 1,001 questions excellent place to go for great service respectful people hard-working group of people I highly recommend them and I'm very grateful for all their work and timefor his hard work

I have been there the first time today to fix my brakes. It's a frist in - first serve concept and works really well. They offer a free inspection and give you a quote. My damaged brakes and the rotors were fixed in only an hour after I have given the go for repair. Great prices and super friendly customer service. And that blew me off: When I picked up my truck i found two wonderful red roses with a note on the passenger seat. Lovely! Lovely! Lovely! Made my day!!! That's not what you expect from a tires and brakes shop! Not even my hairdresser does this, lol.

Geralds is awesome! I went there this morning to get a tire changed and bought a tire, they had me out in under a half an hour and were so nice and sympathetic to the fact that I was in a rush. I would definitely recommend getting there around 6:30 or 6:45 if you want to be the first car that they work on because there will be a line out the door when they open. They are amazing and I will definitely be going back.

Edit: Bob, general manager, reached out and was very professional and apologetic for my experience. He made things square and I greatly appreciate him reaching out. I will give Gerald s another try for any future mechanical needs. I do recommend questioning their pricing more so than I did if the original price seems too high. Customer service is obviously important to this company and it shows.If I could give zero stars I would. Dishonest crooks. As I m paying out the technician, Alex?, that had a hand in my two rear brake/rotor replacement on my vehicle was bragging about how much he got away quoting me. $580 was the price. Parts were $420, labor the rest. Premium parts for this work would cost less than $200. You ask why I agreed to pay? Firstly because I was in a pinch and had no other options but secondly to expose businesses like this. Why aren t there HONEST mechanics anymore? Extremely disappointed and I feel absolutely robbed. Find a friend, find an honest mobile mechanic. DO NOT GET SCAMMED. I mentioned this to Keith at the front desk and he bowed his head in embarrassment. He had no response to this behavior or the outrageous price they gave me. Good luck y all.

Charleston roads damaged my vehicle and I was unable to put the spare tire on my truck.These guys put it on for free and let me go with no charge. Staff was very professional and polite. Highly recommend! They were the best part of a bad day.

For many years, I ve considered Gerald s to be the only place I d take my car for tires. Not anymore. Took it there two weeks ago, had to wait over 3 hours, got home and discovered that they didn t do what I asked them to do at all. After all that time, I still had to go somewhere else. I ll never go back.
