Can't thank James and his team enough! The starter in my 2010 Honda Civic stopped working while I was at a store across the street from the shop. When I called James, I told him the situation and I ask what towing service I should use. He said that he had a trailer and that he would get the car from the store parking lot. I agreed and by that same afternoon, James called to tell me the car was ready! Outstanding customer service and the price was very reasonable for the repair. Will be returning for future repair needs. Thank you, James and team

A great review is warranted after two separate visits to Lakeshore.The first visit was for tires, Noah was professional and super friendly!The second service was a radiator for my truck, I got several quotes, and Lakeshore was the fairest. They were able to have me back on the road in a day, at a very competitive price.I choose to drive to Chapin from Columbia for their old school, wonderful service!

Definitely would highly recommend Lake Shore Tire and Auto Repair. Great customer service, competitive pricing, and honest.We were driving in the Chapin area when our engine light started blinking and the car started shaking. We pulled into a parking lot and started making calls to see if we could get the car in for service somewhere local. It was the start of a holiday weekend and it wasn't looking positive. After several calls, we were referred to Lake Shore. We talked to James and explained the issue. Since we weren't too far away, he said to bring it right over. James completed a diagnostic and after pinpointing the issue (spark plug and coil) we were able to drive it home then return during the next business day to have it fixed. We'll definitely return to James and his team for our future auto needs.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

This was by far the best auto repair service we have ever received. The alternator in our van broke down and left us stranded on the interstate in the morning. After getting a tow from Kibler s, James and the rest of the staff came in earlier than the shop was supposed to open to help us out and fix the problem. It was so incredibly kind, and they finished the job faster than anything we had ever hoped for. Our van works perfectly now, and we are so grateful for the fast and quality service that was provided.Service: Vehicle Inspection

I had a bolt in my tire and they repaired immediately and quickly and then a month later I had a busted tire so I dropped it off and they replaced quickly. Nice guys!

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUISNESS AT ALL! I came to get a tire plugged! When it was time to pay for it they proceeded to charge me $40 because APPRENTLY they had to use 5 plugs! They did not inform me that it needed more than one plug! Of course if one plug didn t work then obviously I would have went and got a new tire !Service: TiresService: Tires

I had to have a headlight replace and the owner help me up in the part forfree. He really help me out. Very personable and professional. I highly recommend.

Took truck in to replace water pu mp and come to find out it wasn't even the water pump it was a heater hose took me 30 min to replace. Every shop I know pressure test system after repair they just said my radiator was leaking!! Truck was leaking more when I picked it up!!! After I replaced hose I have no leaks and radiator has no leaks!! Wouldn't recommend taking your vehicle there!! Terrible service!!
