We broke down outside of Bowman, on I26. Showed up at his shop, unannounced, with our car on a wrecker. He let us setup camp in his office, while we waited for a ride home (nearly 4 hours). He was able to fit us in that week, get the car repaired and charge us a reasonable amount. Even though he knew we were from out of town and no choice in where we could take our car. So if you find yourself in Bowman and in need of service, highly recommended.Service: Engine repair

Wow!! Amazing service. Two ladies traveling from Florida to North Carolina and the drivers window breaks in the down position, the AC on the fritz. We google auto service station and get Smiths Automotive. Barrett comes out and helps us and 52 minutes later the window is up and the AC is working. And the price is absolutely fair!! Followed momma here so she could get the ole Marquis looked at. Glad she feels she can trust these fine gents. Busy when we got there, but younger Smith immediately came in to office to get her info and keys. Felt proper to hire business should be done. Hopefully they figure out the weird tire weight going on.

So last night 1/17/21 at about 6pm we came off of I95 and I26 our brakes went out. I seen smoke come from the passenger side wheel. There were no brakes, we got the truck to slow down and pullover off the exit ramp. Waited for about 45 minutes for a tow truck. We had no idea what was here as we were traveling from Florida to Pennsylvania. The tow guy said he would recommend Smith s Auto Repair. I had no choice or idea so we went with it. First thing this morning at about 8am 1/18/21 I called and explained my truck and trailer being in their parking along with what happened. The gentleman man said he was really swamped and will go take a look. I explained we are trying to finish our trip and get to Pennsylvania. He called me back within 30 minutes and explained what he saw and what he recommended, along with a price. He explained he could order the parts and have them by lunchtime and if all goes well he will have it done tonight. We assumed he wouldn t get the parts till mid afternoon and it would be about 5-6pm before he was done. No joke he called me at 12:30 telling me my truck was done, all went well, and I could come get it. So, when I say this place is amazing believe me. Barrett, the owner busted his butt for me and my family. He is extremely reasonable with his estimate of time and pricing.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Brakes

We were coming back from a mini vacation in Hilton Head and broke down. The owner was so nice to help us with the vehicle. He also allowed us to leave it on his lot till we could have it towed. We just came in off the highway and was greeted right away. Barrett was gracious enough to take a look and identify the issue with care and honestly and did as much as he could to help us get on our way. We are so thankful for his help!

On Friday eve of Memorial Day weekend my truck transmission failed and we were extremely fortunate to find Smith's right before closing. Barrett (owner) knew what was wrong and told me could have one installed by the next Friday when we returned from v�cation in Orlando. I called him on Tuesday and gave him the OK. He went and got it from Fox Rentals where we got a rental, had it ready on Thursday and we picked it up Friday. Great job Barrett! Phil & Glory.

Broke down on I-26 Sunday night and had my vehicle towed at night by 11am he had my vehicle diagnosed and getting me back on the road at noon. Exceptional service and couldn t be happier to get on the road so fast!

Went here to get a diagnostic, guy immediately told me that I need to come back at the end of next week Poor customer service. Poor place to have a diagnostic done. Wouldn t recommend.
