My experience with Mavis was amazing! Most times I am extremely nervous to set foot in any car related organization because I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to automated vehicles. The second I set foot here I did not feel judged or made to feel like I was dumb. The people that helped me were quick and efficient, they identified the problem with my tire and were able to determine the best course of action in less than 20 minutes, and didnt take much longer to actually make the necessary repairs/replacements.One woman in particular (I didn't catch her name, but she had platinum blonde hair, glasses, and worked at the front desk) went out of her way to make sure I understood what all of the money I was spending was for, and what exactly the problem was and what they would be doing to fix it-- and as a relatively new driver her kindness and experience was very much appreciated.With this being my first damaged tire and with me still being a teenager, I wasn't sure what to expect or really where to go. But everyone here made me feel reassured and found ways to help me with the price. Additionally the waiting area has very comfortable chairs.Overall, it was a great experience leaving my car in a much better condition than I brought it in with! Would definitely recommend, and I will most certainly be turning to Mavis in the future! :)

Writing this now as my car has finally been fixed about 6 weeks later. Genuinely wish I could give a positive review. I have never written a bad review. Maybe should give 2 stars because they paid out for the damages in the end. I have everything recorded on dash cam (which I even told them I had before drop off considering the rarity and value of my car).So much went wrong in one visit, I ll condense it simply. Manager did not call me after my car was damaged by falling off the side of their lift in the bay. (It was a 2 hour job, and I didn t get any call for going on 6 hours, so I just decided to pull up). He decided to tell me upon arrival, attempting to make himself feel better by saying I m not going to try and hide the damage I ll be honest with you like yeah that s expected? That s your job? No direct apology for the damage.The shop hand driving my car (manual) clearly didn t have the proper skill set to drive the car. And they even said so in the video when moving the car off the lift, but the manager told them to move it anyway. So I made sure to let corporate know about that instance of negligence with the video. I do not blame the shop hand for the damage, as they tried to let their superior know they clearly were not comfortable. Well done manager. It makes me cringe watching the video listening to how much wear they put on my clutch (which I was NOT compensated for).They attempted to make me feel better by telling me they will take 20% off the bill of the tires. You have got to be kidding me, seriously? For all the trouble that it caused for me, that doesn t even come close to making up for the headache.The regional manager I spoke with ended up helping me get everything sorted and paid for with some persistence at first. He let me know they will be evaluating the location, which I hope is true.Accidents happen, it s not the first time, but this was poor management. How you follow through with correcting a mistake is what matters, and this was a massive failure. Will never bring any of my fleet here again.

Huge shout out to Paul and Mavis tire for getting us fixed up on tires, oil change and alignment on a Sunday!!They ended up not having the tires we came for but gave us a discount and was able get us fixed with different set of tires. Became an forever customer, will be back for future car needs They even keep working past store hour for get us fixed up for work tomorrow highly recommend!!

My first visit they made me wait 40 minutes until they unloaded a truck full of tires. My second visit was to rebalance a tire in which they stuck and external weight on the lip of my wheel. Which has scratched it, once removed. Then it had to be rebalanced properly. Costing me more money. It's worth the drive to Discount Tire.

The Mavis team did a great job. I came in with a leaking tire valve stem and Anna was fantastic. Not only did they fix my valve stem in less then 20 minutes but they didn't charge me anything. How rare is that. I will be telling everyone that I know about the service and my experience. Thank you Mavis Tire & Brakes Team!!!!!!

I spoke to a gentleman on the phone about a flat tire I had. I had previously purchased a tire there back in December and when I called about getting my tire changed, he informed me that I did not have a warranty and would have to pay. I spent over 700 dollars with this business, and I m told they wouldn t change my tire. First off, I was never informed of a warranty on a tire because I most certainly would have purchased a warranty. However, when you spend 700 dollars at a tire shop, you expect to have a warranty on your brand new tires. Not to mention, the customer service was horrible. Was basically told it s not their problem. Don t give this business your money or your time. Also, I asked for an alignment and I can tell you my car was either not aligned, or not aligned properly, because it still wants to veer to the right. You would think if someone spent 700 dollars with your business, you would want to find a solution for them and help them out. No, not this business.

I had an exceptional experience at Mavis Tires & Brakes recently. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by their team's knowledge and their incredible customer service. Great, low-priced, budget-friendly auto maintenance shop!They do everything when it comes to car maintenance, and they are great, honest people. Don't worry about them overcharging you for anything.Very female-friendly. The customer service is fantastic, and the mechanics won't talk down to you if you're a female.Great prices, and didn't break the bank. 10/10They also have a great waiting area, with a kids zone, charging station, and a TV.Edit: Forgot to mention that I went in for a brake change because I was hearing funny noises. Instead of charging me for a full brake change, they let me know that the pads were improperly seated, and they adjusted and cleaned them.They also inspect your wiper blades, your tire treads, and test your battery, free of charge.

Beware! I took my Subaru Crosstrek to Mavis tires and brakes. I needed new tires, new brakes, and new shocks. My car is older but it drove quietly before I took it in. I assumed they knew how to do these jobs. When I picked up my car it was squeaking, has a loud dragging sound in the back. I took it back in and they just played dumb and did not correct any of the problems they caused. I would not recommend this establishment, especially since I spent over $2000 there and now my car sounds like a bucket of bolts. They may act nice, but they are willing to do nothing to fix the problem that they caused. In fact, the guy there tried to tell me it was because of a rock rolling around the back and because of my bike rack that I had just put on, as if I didn t know what sounds were there before and what sounds were not. It is almost undriveable, It is so loud. They definitely lowered the value of my car.

My husband and I were on our way home from shopping today and we heard some thumping under the car. The light on the dashboard lit up saying something about the tires. We were driving right past Mavis Tires & Brakes in Boiling Springs, SC so we pulled into their parking lot to see about the tires. Th right front tire was flat down to the rim! Someone came out to look at it and ask us to go inside and they would take are of it. Within minutes we were told it was just a small hole in the tire and they would patch it up for us...no need for a new tire. We must have picked something up along the road. From the time we drove into their parking lot and them fixing the tire, we were out of there in less than 30 minutes! and it only cost us $29.99 including the alignment! I must say, that is the fastest service I have seen when waiting for a car repair. I also want to say the crew there were very friendly, considerate of our needs and kept us informed the whole time we were there. I certainly recommend Mavis Tires & Brakes for the place to go for your tires and brakes. Good people & good service! Thank you Mavis Tires & Brakes.

Paul and the entire team are amazing. I am forever grateful that I came here on yesterday to make an appointment for today. Everything was explained to me in detail throughout the maintenance of my car today. It took a little longer, but they never made me feel like it was a burden. I am forever grateful and will definitely be back.

Mavis did a wonderful job with my car. They diagnosed issues i didn t even know i had and fixed it quick and easy. Anna at the front desk was very professional and gave me full details on pricing and what was going on with my car. The workers did fantastic with handling my vehicle. Would recommend going for any of your cars needs

Anna was amazing! She helped find everything I need! I had a nail in my tire and she walked me through everything, i had a rough day and a nail in the tire just made it worse. If you need any help with tires make sure to ask for Anna! MAVIS IS THE WAY TO GO!

Rory & Sabian & their team are amazing!!! They do what they say they will do, in the time they promise. If you need tires, brakes, or anything else preventative on your vehicle, go there now and tell em a very happy customer named Shelly sent you. They will be good to you!

I came in at closing on a Sunday with unsafe tires. It was either replace the tires or lose my job. Paul took care of me even though the shop was closing. I'm now driving safely and still have my job. Highly recommend this place and they have gained a customer for life. Thanks Paul and thanks Mavis Tires and Brakes!

I bought 4 new tires from this shop in April of 2023 and they gave me a good price on them. I came back to have one patched in November and they took care of me. The nail turned out to be a little guy that didn't even go through the tread, but I wanted to be careful.The staff are very friendly and it was fun to chat with them while my tires got rotated.

What a great place and team! I had an issue with my tires and wasn't able to drive myself home and someone even took the time to drive me home! I couldn't be happier with the service and experience I had with them. I'll be singing your praises to anyone who needs help in the future

I had a horrible experience today the Boiling Springs, SC location. I had a leak in one of the tires and went to the counter. There were two gentlemen, and I created them, but no one answered. They asked me to wait a minute, and I waited 16 minutes for them to talk to me. I said I needed to fix the tire, and they said we couldn t do it today as we had only two technicians. I understand that, but why wait 16 minutes to tell this!!! It was annoying and a waste of time. My family and I won t go there anymore.

The service at the boiling springs Mavis tires and brakes was phenomenal! A quickly greeted me with a smile, and ready to fit me in for a quick flat repair. By far the best tire shop in the upstate!

Recently moved down to SC, and when we got a new license plate there was a stubborn screw that wouldn t come out. I used all the tools I had with WD40, and even looked for help at other auto shops but nothing helped. Next morning, I came in to Mavis and they were able to finally lend a hand and got it out. Truly appreciate their willingness to help me out in such short notice.

The Mavis Tires & Brakes in boiling springs helped me short notice with slow leak. They had excellent service and an easy going experience. I would recommend to everyone if they had any problems with their tires and brakes go to Mavis.

Mavis Tire is TERRIFIC! The service is efficient and on point. The staff is extremely polite and friendly, and the waiting area is clean with internet access, charging ports, a TV, and a childrens play area. There was no high pressure but genuine desire to help. I will definitely be back and will recommend Mavis to everyone!

Came in because they plugged my tires previously. They inspected my tires, and found my valve stem was the only thing leaking. Anna said that they went ahead and replaced it, on them. I was fully prepared to pay, but she said don t worry about it. Thank you so much for the kind gesture and the clean and friendly atmosphere. I will be coming back to get my car worked on furthermore from here on out. Thank you guys!

I stopped by here after hearing a leak in one of my tires (that I did not purchase here). They squeezed me in and checked my tire and found that it was not repairable. They put my spare tire on and sent me and my toddler on my way, free of charge! I did not get the manager's name, but he truly was a blessing. I WILL be purchasing my next set of tires here! The even had a kid's play area and doggie treats!

Highly recommend coming here. Amazing people who put safety above all else. Came in for 4 new tires but ended up getting 2 new strut assemblies instead. They made sure my unsafe car was safe to drive and they worked with me to make it happen. They care that much. Businesses like this are rare.

The staff is very Pleasant and the techs and efficient and thorough in there work. Once this location has opened I have been coming here instead of the dealership. I highly recommend this location.
