Best tire shop in the area! Had an appointment 1 week in advance at Bryan's Tire & Automotive, they said I wasn t worth their time. Drove 10 minutes down the road and got it done for 40$ less! If you want good honest service Pope-Davis is the place to go!

READ IF YOU HAVE A TALLER VEHICLE!I stopped by the day before requesting the service & gave information about my vehicle & was told to return as early as possible the following day.I showed up early right at opening only to be told my medium roof transit van was too tall to fit in the shop. While the van is taller than most vehicles, it fits through drive through restaurants with no problem. The garage doors are very tall and even with normal types of maintenance lifts, it shouldn t be a problem. I haven t had a problem at any other shop in the past as these vans are very common. The communication about it is what frustrates me as I showed up a full day ahead of time and told them what I was driving. My reason for leaving this review isn t to get anyone in trouble, but to perhaps highlight a potential issue for customers and encourage the shop to invest in the means necessary to work on vehicles that are taller than average in the future. Medium roof transit vans are very common (THANKS, AMAZON!) and should not be an issue to get a simple brake job at a local shop. I would much rather support a local shop than Midas or Firestone. The man I dealt with was friendly, I just wish there was better communication on the front end & a possible solution explored, as I know brake jobs don t require the vehicle to be lifted very high to complete.

Dropped truck off to have tire repairs. Two hours later still no repair. This isn't the first disappointing time. But it is the last. You can't operate a repair shop with ONE technician.

I was heading to VA from GA (just a single mom with my 2 daughters) when I hit a big piece of tire on I77. Thankfully we were only about a half a mile from an exit. I pulled into the gas station to see what damage was done. I knew I was dragging something. I was parking when I looked up and saw the tire shop!! I immediately started thanking God for bringing me to this place! I pulled up and they looked at it almost immediately. Thankfully no major damage was done, just the entire shield under my van was ripped off and my bumper was loose. They secured it for me and we were able to get back on the road sooner then I expected. The entire crew were friendly and the gentleman at the desk was a huge blessing to us!! He didn't charge us anything and wished us a safe rest of our trip. Folks, there are still good people out there!! :) I met them today!! I left there reminded again how good God is!!

They just want your money. I went in for an alignment. Afterwards the guy goes oh by the way you need new struts so your car is still going to pull. Um so why didn't you tell me that beforehand instead of taking my money just to literally say that my problem isn't fixed. An honest shop would've said hey an alignment isn't your issue here, it's your struts (which by the way they wanted over $800 for. I changed the whole suspension on my car, struts, shocks, and springs for $500..) but instead they took my money knowing that wasn't my issue at all, and for those who don't know, when you get new struts you will need your car realigned so they were trying to charge me for 2 alignments and a ridiculous strut price. Just go to Joey SharpesService: Wheel alignment

Debated taking my freshly bought, but used '15 Jeep Wrangler to a Jeep-specific service shop, but really wanted to keep it local to Blythewood. Needed an alignment at the least, plus more thorough safety check due to a serious concern. Everyone was SO professional and met/ exceeded my (very skeptic) expectations! From Nate in the office, to Marco and Shane in the shop...true experts and grateful to have such professional auto service right here in Blythewood. Certainly earned my respect and appreciation. Will schedule my next service/ appt/ tune-up without hesitation. Thank you!Service: Wheel alignment

We called Nate and he had the tires ordered and here when the tow truck arrived . They replaced the tires and did an alignment and we were on our way in a little over an hour! Nate is very professional and the customer service here is outstanding !Services: Tires, Wheel alignment

Great team! Great customer service. We were traveling on vacation and the low tire pressure indicator came on. We had a flat tire. We happened to exit the interstate at the exit where Pope-Davis was located. Very fortunate for us. The were able to patch the tire and we were on our way. If I lived near Pope-Davis, they would have all my automotive repair and tire business!!!! Thanks, guys!

Went in bought 2 new tires on Tuesday . Paid with my debit card - was told the payment didn t go thru , ran the same card as a credit and the payment went thru . Amount $291! Two payments cleared my bank by Wednesday afternoon . I called them and was told by Thursday corporate should know if they were paid twice . Went by Friday AM to get the credit for one payment loaded back on my debit card and nothing had been done to clear up the mistake . The owners son - Nathaniel Bryson was supposed to confirm the double payment and of course it was Friday and no action had been done! It Would have taken less than 2 minutes for someone to access the Pope Davis bank account and confirm that they received two payments from me for $291 . Will never use them again . Next stop Better Business Bureau. They could care less that I paid $600 for 2 tires ! Update- I have heard back from the owner and the issue is getting resolved .Service: Tires

This the best place you can have for taking care of you car repair and maintenance. Believe me! I tried many places and I rarely have pleasant experience. But with Pope Davis, the customer service is excellent, prices are very fair! and they are efficient! they take care of their customers very well! They will detect the real problem in your car, and fix it very quickly! They would honor any repair they make if something happens later on. In summary, they value their customers!

On a road trip with my family to West Virginia from Georgia. On the way we had to stop for a bathroom break in South Carolina when pulling into the gas station we heard something wrong with our car. My husband got out and looked at our tires come to find out a bolt came loose from the break caliber. We looked across the street and there was a shop across the street for us. We drove over the men working were very polite, they pulled us right in even tho they were about to close and we were back on the road in about 20-30 mins! My husband tipped the mechanic then he went in to pay the bill and they didn t even charge us. We were blessed to have y all! Thank you for making us safe again!Service: Brakes

I took my truck to Pope Davis because it was loosing power and it needed a tune up. When I dropped it off, I stated I need a tune-up! When I picked up the truck it ran fine for about a month. They my transmission went out. After I got the transmission fix within a week my truck was doing the same misfiring and loosing power! it was doing before they fixed it! After I went into the shop the receptionist stated they did a Soft tuneup? I ve never heard of a soft tuneup in my life! I didn t come in here and ask for a soft tuneup!! So I paid $600 plus dollars for something that was improperly done! Needless to say I was furious! So I took my truck to express oil lube. And express oil lube says in their written report seven on my eight spark plugs were hand tight ! I repeat HAND TIGHT! And the eighth spark plug wasn t even replaced ! By the spark plugs only been hand type it allowed moisture to seep into the engine! So after paying $300 for labor and $32 for a new spark plug my truck runs just fine again! I would never use their services again nor will I recommend them to anyone !

Been here several times, usually for tore repair or replacement. Work quality good, staff friendly, prices reasonable. Only concern is that only one person at front desk, and it can beBacked up to start a work order.

We were stuck two hours away from home with a car that was stalling out. Pope's was right across the street from the gas station we were at. We somehow made it across the street to his shop. He put his code reader on the car right away (no wait) . It somehow cleared the code on the car and the car worked great. Hopefully we can make home safely! Thanks Pope's... life saver AND HE CHARGED US NOTHING!!!!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I Was at Pope Davis on Hard Scrabble getting my tire repaired and a truck for sale was parked in the handicapped spot. My son is in a wheelchair so I had to park in a spot that was not safe to unload him in his wheelchairWhen asked about the vehicle no one seemed to know whose it was. After raising serious hell and wanting to get the sheriff department and Department of Justice involved the owner magically found the key.Apparently there was engine trouble because They could not get it started. After my work was done no one really seemed to have any urgency to get the truck moved. No apologies, no nothing. I told Justin, they have two hours to move it or I will be alerting the sheriffs department and Department of Justice for ADA (The American disabilities act). Violations.Still playing the blame game on who s truck it was and who allowed it, and not taking me seriously I sped up my promise and called the sheriffs department immediately.Justin the store manager called me and was quite upset because I did not give him two hours. I clearly stated I did not feel he was taking me seriously, is the way I felt. The sheriffs department arrived sooner than I had expected and apparently put their feet to the fire. After a heated phone exchange with Justin we ended our conversation.Justin claimed gave me discounts and they prioritized my service , which I did not ask for. What pissed me off was the owner and the manager allowed this. There was little to no remorse nor did anyone own up to it when I asked who allowed it, or whose truck it was.Truly sad. I know that by losing my business it will not cause them to go bankrupt I just hope they learn
