Having just moved to town, I wasn t sure who to trust with my 2009 E350.Further, I service my own cars and With my tools in transit it s sometimes hard to place your trusted steed in strange hands.So I put the service of my car in the hands of Mercedes Benz of Hilton Head.I was greeted by Mike my service manager. He was really nice and took the time to throughly explain the process. The tech did a through inspection of the vehicle - having intimate knowledge of the car, the report verified what I knew to be wrong with the car nothing more nothing less. That s when I knew these were people I could trust.My car was serviced and washed in no time and at a very reasonable price.On a side note the detailer did an amazing job- the car looked awesome when I picked it up.Yes if you re in town and need to service your Mercedes definitely stop by and see Mike! This dealership is amazing! From the friendly people all the way to the spotless showroom. Allie helped us find the perfect fit for our family. She was extremely knowledgeable and got us driving away in our new car in a timely manner. All of the staff was helpful and we would definitely recommend searching Hilton Head Mercedes for your next new or pre-owned purchase. Just want to say that when I came to drop off my loaner and pick my vehicle up I was not at all satisfied with the level of customer service I had received. Fortunately, I knew it wasn t the norm because I ve been visiting this facility for several years and always had a great experience.On this particular visit, Brian Johnson met me at my car with a smile. He welcomed me into the lobby and I began to share some of my issues with him. He immediately addressed my concerns and got some answers. He escorted me over to Jenny Jonas. As Jenny and I began to interact, I knew she was there to deliver more of the same pleasant experience. I ran into a small issue with my bank not being able to approve the amount of the transaction, because they were closed (Saturday). As I waited on answers and options, Jenny and Brian helped to see what could be done to help. The only option ended up being come back on Monday. They put me back in the loaner and said See you on Monday .The part that I deem most important is that these two people used their smiles and a bit of courtesy to turn a bad review into a great review. Both of them said many times We re here to take care of you No problem and things of that sort. They definitely represent the company well and know the importance of delivering an ultimate customer service experience.Thanks so much!

Ever since I stepped foot in the door there have been certain employees that just stand out! Michael was the first individuals to greet me when I moved to the area. Top notch and always professional! He moved away for a while, but since came back, and I was so glad to see him. He is definitely an asset to the dealership!In addition, Brian and Jacqueline an extremely kind and helpful. Recently my wife and I purchased a CPO 2022 Mercedes 300GLC from MB Hilton Head. It was a refreshing experience compared to some recent experiences at another local dealership. Keith (our salesman) Jason (his manager) and David (our tech guy) were very knowledgeable, patient, helpful, accomodating and courteous. We got a GREAT deal and were treated with complete respect (the way that ALL car dealers should treat their customers!). Very happy to do business with these guys and will more than likely continue to buy there in the future.

I have been searching for a Mercedes for aver 6 months. I started working with Allison over a short period. Drove down from Charleston and did a test drive! She was extremely professional and very accommodating, which made the decision to purchase from HHI so much easier! Allison has gone out of her way with regards to her her customer service and willingness to satisfy the customer! I am so happy with my new Mercedes! Thanks to Allison!

My Cars have been getting serviced at the Hilton Head location for years with no issues until today. It makes me wonder if they actually take the time to do the inspection of the vehicle as they indicated!! I was very irritated with the Service advisor because I had to continue to ask her for documentation. My car was picked up on a Monday morning and I was told it would be returned on Wednesday when I scheduled the service. I was sent an invoice to pay around 4:30 that evening. The invoice looked different from what Mercedes usually sends out, almost like suspicious so I didn t pay it. The invoice usually comes with a detailed report on what was done to the vehicle and recommendations followed up by a phone call to explain was was done. Didn t get either!! The next morning I received a call stating they were returning the vehicle and I needed to pay the invoice. When I went to pay the invoice, it was a totally different, higher amount from what was previously sent that evening. I paid it and I asked the advisor why, she couldn t explain and said maybe there was a glitch perhaps in the system. Again I asked for paperwork on what was done in my service and she stated that they had a hard time sending it. I asked if they were under new management because she was not very helpful at all. As the valet proceed to drive my vehicle home, he stated that my tire sensor was out and the female advisor called and wanted me to schedule another appointment to have it looked at, for a fee. Now my car was apparently 10 minutes from their location and was supposed to have just had a service so I guess they forgot to check my tires. The irritating part is that she wanted to schedule me another appointment and charge me. I had to let her know that I ve been a loyal customer for years and get 3-Mercedes serviced at their location and will not be nickeled and dime for something that should have been looked at as they stated. She was very unprofessional and not helpful at all. Now I still hadn t received my invoice on what they actually serviced on my car until I called her 3-times. My point is, if I paid for a service please do what you charged me for and send me the correct amount, not apparently flipping a coin on what will be charged. I was charged $564.38 for service -A to change the oil and I had a loyal customer $50 coupon to bring it to that amount. Ridiculous !!! Not pleased at all.

Excellent service not one of the big chains and that's great. Professional sales staff not pushy.I've bought several vehicles from this dealership, dealing with Mark, their Salesmanager, Ally there number one sales person, David there tech guru and Ty there aftermarket and F&I guy.Everyone was more than helpful. Never pushy. The AMG SUV was perfect on delivery. What was surprising is that even the tire pressures had been set to factory specs, very unusual. That indicates a perfect PDI as the pressures are always set high from the factory to avoid flatspotting.Did they meet my expectations, definitely.Dealership was sold on Jan 1, 2024 to Group one. Let's hope things stay good?

While informing me of repairs that were needed on my vehicle, the Service Representative demonstrated exemplary Customer Service.The Representative appeared to be a part of a unified Team where she and other team members were welcoming, Knowledgeable, and Friendly. Her Communication Skills were impeccable. It appeared that she supervised the vehicle s repairs with Precision -and in a Timely Manner.Even though the repair work was costly; it was needed. I drive from Statesboro Ga. To Mercedes-Benz of Hilton Head because from the first time I came here, customer service was top notch! Everything is explained in detail and nothing is done until approval comes from you once your vehicle is inspected. It s a clean professional environment and the staff makes you feel welcome. I will ALWAYS bring my vehicle here. No complaints whatsoever!!!!!! ALL of the staff is excellent from checking in to checking out!

Incredible experience. Abigail my service advisor was so thorough inspecting my vehicle and inspecting the work her technicians performed. She is the best , most meticulous advisor and follows up and stays in touch with updates. She introduced me to their concierge who took his time and went through the vehicle with me and a few of the controls I was unfamiliar with. My daughter s boss drives from Savanah to have his two Mercedes serviced there because of how great the service department is.

Everything was good about the visit. The only leash we had was the listening skills and friendliness of the service writer. She didn t listen to what I had to say. She said she s going to be a charge. She didn t believe the situation and wouldn t listen to the situation. She just took it about herself to do what she believed was true. It turns out that even though she told me, there was a charge that the situation would be covered under warranty, which I knew, but I should ve been told this adamantly that it would be a charge.

Mercedes staff at this location is top notch. Exactly what you would expect from a Mercedes dealer. The reason I give 3 stars is due to cost of repairs. Not sure what the labor rate is there but I about fell over after receiving a quote for repairs. At the price the quoted I had to get a second estimate. Second estimate was almost $5k cheaper using all Mercedes OEM parts and same work dealer quoted. I understand a dealer is always going to be more expensive and Mercedes are not cheap to work on but my vehicle will not be returning to dealer for anything other than A or B standard service.

Needed to replace a tire that was damaged while spending a couple of months in Hilton Head. MB of HH was great to work with. They got the exact tire I needed in one day, scheduled me for service the next morning, and had me on my way after a short wait. I wish the MB a dealer I use at home was as friendly and efficient.

Nick Field, our sales representative, did a fabulous job helping my wife get her new car. Dave showed remarkable knowledge explaining the technical features of the car to us. Also, Ti gave us a very thorough and patient explanation of the financial aspects of the entire transaction. We appreciate all of them and they are all great assets to Mercedes-Benz of Hilton head. This is the third time I have had my car in for rodent damage. When I was informed on the first repair that damage was caused by rodents, the garage was cleaned and no rodents were found. Rodent droppings were found so there had been rodents in the garage. (My fault) All access to garage were covered by carpenter wire. Small containers containing peppermint oil were placed in the engine area. Also for extra measure, traps were placed in the garage. A few weeks later, the engine light came on. I returned the car and was informed of more damage caused by rodents. I checked the entire garage and found no rodent droppings. None of the traps had been activated. Dog treat were left in golf cart that is located next to car and they were never touched. Absolutely no indication of rodents being in garage. Now a couple weeks later engine light appears and I returned car to dealership. Again required repairs because of rodent damage. I have no issues with repairs performed. However, I don t believe the car had a thorough inspection during first repairs to see if any other areas had been damaged. And existing problems from first rodent damage are starting to occur from frayed wires. This has cost me over $2,000 dollars out of pocket because I won t file insurance claim on last repair. I know that this is my opinion but I can t come to any other logical conclusion other then existing damage was over looked from first repair. Service mgr. said that this wasn t possible. She must have physic powers to make such a statement. For this reason I no longer trust this dealership to work or service my car in the future.Best regards,Carlin McAlister

I was met by Jacqueline Stone, Service Advisor and we discussed what I thought needed repair. She explained there would be a Diagnostic review of the car to determine what add'l items might need to be addressed. The entire process and service provided was within scope of what was discussed and within the prices quoted. She and the service folks exceeded all expectations. Where do I start. First off once we pulled in the parking lot the salesman was walking with my wife and I. Bobby was so helpful and understanding what my wife was interested in. He helps us through the process from the parking lot of the dealership to his desk. We test drove the GLB and it was the correct SUV for my wife. Bobby, Dave , and Mark thank you for making this so wonderful and making us a part of the Mercedes Benz Family. We will definitely be back!!!!!

I cannot thank the outstanding service department enough. We broke down on the way to a trip up north. The service team was extremely busy with booked appointments yet some how managed to work us in. Valet(can't remember his name) drove us to and from breakfast. I had two advisors both went above and beyond. I am sad I do not live close so i could use this dealership for my regular maintenance!! Courtesy goes a long way and you will get that here.

We re on vacation from Florida and our new GLC300 required repairs. Abigail was a ray of sunshine during our dark moments waiting for word on the warranty work that would need to be done. It was more involved than expected and took awhile but it was eventually completed. MBHH took good care of us although it would have been nice to have had a loaner instead of having to deal with a rental car while waiting.

My regular service rep was out injured. Brian Johnson step up and help greatly. And when Delano Bowens returned, they coordinated as to the additional repairs that were needed and performed. While it was a lot of money, I felt comfortable with their advice.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GO HERE!! The only people that have left good reviews either haven t had there car at Mercedes HHI long enough to get scammed or are just getting scammed and don t know it. I would give a 0 star review if I could. My coolant pump blew and I knew it was the coolant pump as it s a common failure on my make and model and it blew coolant all over the front of my engine. Island Tire who are great people also confirmed this prior to me going to Mercedes as they sadly could not fix the issue as they didn t have the tools. I got it towed to Mercedes and told them it s the coolant pump and I want it replaced. They told me it won t be insured if they replace it without doing a diagnostic of the issue which I understand. I spoke with the mechanics and my service manager on multiple occasions explaining the issue and that the coolant pump has failed. So $220 later, they do the diagnosis and come up with some absolutely random problem that doesn t exist. I was quoted for the coolant lines running to my turbo leaking and all coolant and oil seals needing to be replaced for over $1,500. The moment I saw this I knew it was completely false as the turbo sits in an area on the engine which would make it impossible for the blown coolant line to spray all over the front of my radiator and battery. So, I closed out, payed my $220 and towed it all the way to HHI to get repaired. Only took two days and guess what?? It was the coolant pump and only the coolant pump! Absolutely no leaking from my coolant lines to the turbo and Mercedes Benz of HHI blatantly lied about what was wrong and my car still wouldn t have ran after I paid them $1,500 for an issue that didn t exist. It makes so much sense that dealerships make most of their money off service and the sad thing is, places like Mercedes either don t hire people who know what they re doing, or just have scummy humans who completely lie about the issue, knowing that most of the wealthy individuals that go there won t even think twice about paying it since they re the experts . Such a shame this stereotype is so real at Mercedes. To wrap this up, don t ever go here if you don t have to.
