Elias was fantastic! He helped me with my wiper blades installation and was very nice! The world needs more people like him and this is why I shop local rather than buy online. Great customer service and very courteous and friendly!

THIS PLACE SUCKS!! I went in a pinch on the road for a free "diagnostic." My battery gauge was reading much lower than normal, so I assumed it was either the battery, or the alternator. Some kid who was clearly angry to even be working there, said his electronic tool would tell him specifically which component the problem was coming from. In 2 minutes he said the battery was no good Online, the battery was about $200., but I was charged $280. at the store. Whatever, as long as I was assured that I was replacing the right part and my truck would be fine. 2 days later the battery gauge dropped again. The alternator was bad. I'm nowhere near this store anymore (a thousand miles away), so I can't take the battery back and get a refund. Plus, now I have to spend $400. on a new alternator. Thanks a lot Advance Auto Parts!! Don't shop at this place unless you're a professional mechanic and you know exactly what you need, because the employees will bamboozle you.

I found the windshield wipers I needed using the QR code. The front desk helped me find the right wiper for my rear window. They offered to put them on and they were done quickly. I always come here to get my wipers. Friday at 4:30 they were not busy at all!

I have very bad experience with the MANAGER Justin. It was 10th of October around 7 pm in Bluffton in Advance Auto Parts Store.My husband and i wanted to buy a sensor at this time. My husband went to the store first i stayed in the car. He started to speak with the seller (JUSTIN) , but after a while he has to wait and wait, then he texted me ; the MANAGER just LEFT from the store while he looking our sensor.I just went to the store after i saw this manager talking 2 other costumers in the parking lot, and i asked him, can you come back and give the sensor for us...?He answered me : what i thinking about myself, he is busy now! He knows who is the first and he does not want to help me!!!I tried to talking with him because i was before the other costumers and he just left without any reason!!He DID NOT listen me, i was interrupted and frustrated! He was not wanted to resolve our problem. After i asked him What is this policy he just left and was not able to give me the item.., he TOLD ME : GET OUT MY STORE I AM THE MANAGER HERE !I was so surprised, because this is not fair!He told me, he doesn t want to sell to me NOTHING!!!!After when i left the store, he said to my husband, he has 4 children and 2 jobs and he is very tired!!! And...?! Is it the costumer service?! I felt so horrible myself and never seen this situation before!!! He cut off me and said get out my store, JUST BECAUSE I ASKED HIM to continue our service!!!I think he needs better training PROTOCOLS and better equip him to answer the questions and serve the costumers!!

I have read the reviews NOW I'm giving my OWN. I went to the store today actually to get a key fob battery. Me being female I didn't know much so you get help. There were two OLDER ladies and another man in there. I saw Steve was with a customer. The older lady with this long hair was quite rude and not very helpful OR informative. I understand that employees were not to take the battery out so I asked her to show me how..THIS LADY SAID SHE CANT HELP ME YEAH THE LADY WHO WORKS IN ADVANCE AUTO PARTS COULD NOT EXPLAIN HOW TO TAKE THE BATTERY OUT.Needless to say I STEPPED AWAY FROM HER and waited for Sweet Steve he explained assisted and was so caring,considerate AND PROFESSIONAL. FIRE THE GOLDEN GURLS AND KEEP STEVE. STEVE YOU ARE TRULY DESTINED FOR GREATNESS. I even asked if I could buy his lunch and I did for being a WONDERFUL SALESMAN to women who struggle with situations like these. There was another review about the GOLDEN GURLS..STAY WOKE THEY MAY CONTRIBUTE TO LOSING YOUR SALES.

I need to start by saying, I rarely will take the time to write a review for a business unless there is something exceptional to speak of. This is one of those cases.I went in to this store late morning for a part (which they had in stock for a good price) and when I approached the front door I noticed 2 women in Advanced uniform outside smoking and chatting. I didn't think anything of it until I got inside and saw several shoppers walking around and only one younger guy at the counter helping customers. When I got to his counter I made small talk with him as he looked up my part. I got my part and left, no issues. When I got home I realized I had forgotten to get something and figured I would go back to the store when I was out for lunch. It was roughly 2 hrs later when I pulled back into their parking lot and saw the same women outside the front door smoking. I then realized, this poor guy was still in there helping customers and fielding phone calls. I don't know exactly where the manager was at this point, (he had said he was not the manager, but he was the commercial parts guy (?)) but there were people needing help and waiting while the same 2 employees were outside on their smoke break AGAIN!Kudos to this guy for not losing his mind. I believe the guy s name is Mark. He is a very knowledgeable parts guy. I feel so strongly about this situation I may reach out to their customer service and let them know that is not how to run a store.

As soon as i walked in i was met by helpful and knowledgeable staff members. Brian went above and beyond with his service......and it was needed! If you're looking to get the help you need with your vehicle, search no further. Go in and ask for Brian, you'll thank me!

I have used this auto related products store for 4 years and this is the BEST store 'of any type' in Bluffton, as far as being friendly and helpful.Though not always as cheap as the cheapest chain stores, like Walmart, they are fairly inexpensive and the service is tremendous!And they are very honest with advice.GREAT PLACE AND GREAT PEOPLE.This is not because it just happened to be nice people on one visit.But because this company tries hard to hire people that are both friendly and intelligent, and trains them well.

Customer service somewhat lacking, which seems to be Advance Auto in general... this location not as bad as others in the region. This location seems to do a good job stocking products that generally more difficult to find on a shelf, i.e. transmission fluids and different weight oils. Autocraft batteries also excellent service and life.

Britney and Mike went beyond helping my husband Bruce and Sister in law Harriet. They had trouble with recharging the air conditioning and went out of the way to help solve the problem and they did just that.Exceptional service.

Needed a battery checked. Only one person on staff so they couldn't leave the store without getting everyone else out of the store. There should never be one person on staff. They can't come outside to help in any capacity then. Defeats the purpose of the store if they can't help with the car.

I needed my battery replaced because it was completely dead, unfortunately my terminals were cracked due to corrosion and Advanced Auto does not replace terminals. I was unable to find ANYONE in the area to do both battery and terminals. After having two individuals at this advanced auto tell me nothing could be done I at a dead end. I returned the next morning to return the battery I had purchased from Advanced Auto and met Marlon. Marlon is the person you need to see when going to Advanced Auto. He not only replaced my battery but went out of his way to do the terminals as well since that was the only was to change the battery. Marlon was fantastic. It took him 45 minutes and I avoided having to travel farther and pay a lot of money $$$ for it to be done elsewhere/miss work. So my praises go out to Marlon at this Advanced Auto, because of him I would return to this location. So if you need anything I'd suggest going (during the day) and find Marlon and if it's fixable he will do it! The first two individuals I dealt with made it hard for me to consider coming back because they spent little to no time assisting me or any effort into helping me but Marlon is the reason this business gets five stars, so deal with him or I wouldn't advise seeking any "advanced" help.

I purschaed a battery there sept of 2015 and the battery went dead. I came in for an exchange and manger told me it needed a 24 hour charge and they would re check. He gave me his word that he would give me a new battery if it was defective. The stick on the battery says 9-15. I came back in checked the battery and it was bad. The manager said the day before it was under warranty and then all of a sudden the computer says it a 24Month warranty and that is void. The sticker say I have until September for the warranty to expire. Well, I call bulls***! Honor your warranties and learn some customer service.

Found the model number of my nissan and gave me the right coolant and installed wiper blades. Great employees and manager . Recommend coming back

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Helped me with a battery diagnosis a d then got the battery from another location because they didn't have one on hand. They do run some great sales on cleaners.

The guys were fantastic John and Alexis help me put in a headlight bulb which wasn't getting a good connection and they use the special electrical grease to fix my headlight. They did this late on a Sunday night just before closing.

A great place to get parts. They will loan you tools, diagnos your check engine light, install new wipers, test your battery and electrical components, and offer good advise.All for free !

Nobody there has any training, or car background. Wrong parts and inventory issues plague this store. Do yourself a favor and save money and time by going elsewhere. Non china garbage can be found elsewhere cheaper.
