1993 Ford Ranger XLT 2.3 L 4-cylinder reg cab manual420,000+ milesMy confidence in the workmanship coming out of this shop was amplified 100 fold!!!You're a wonderful crew highly recommended from start to finish. You have great working chemistry!Back story:Due for a tire balance/rotation and alignment, I called a day ahead for an appointment at the NTB nearest to Savannah in Bluffton, SC. The receptionist took all my information and scheduled my truck for service. The next day I arrived for my appointment. The woman, couldn't find my information, my appointment ... nothing. She said she wrote it all down on a piece of paper. While she was looking for it, I called the next nearest NTB in Beaufort, SC.Carrie answers the phone. I say, I'm down the road at this other NTB and the woman can't find my stuff. I asked Carrie if there was an opening for a balance, rotation, and alignment TODAY. She pulled me up on the computer by my phone number/name even though I've never been there before (I've been to other NTBs across the country), and says there's an opening early afternoon.Getting there I was greeted by Carrie and Rudy, an engaging, high energy, industrious manager who obviously genuinely cares. He oversaw the service and I met Julius, a very diligent mechanic who did the alignment.Rudy did some troubleshooting on a squeak that was going on when I turned the steering wheel. After siphoning some old off and putting in some fresh, suggested that I get the power steering fluid flushed and replaced some time.I drove back to Savannah all happy with no squeaks.A week later, the serpentine belt snapped. I didn't know who else to call except Rudy! There was NO PLACE in the area I knew and trusted other than the NTB in Beaufort, SC! I had my truck towed from Savannah to Beaufort.Austin diagnosed that I needed, besides a serpentine belt, an alternator, and a tensioner pulley. Everything went smooth except the tensioner pulley had seized and couldn't be easily replaced as thought at first sight. At the 11th hour before closing and after a Hail Mary, the tensioner pulley "moved" where it was freed up enough to get the belt on and safe enough to drive back to Savannah. Kudos to Austin for his diligent work!John, who was "in the wings" the whole time said that the tensioner had to come off and replaced, and that he was willing to do it, having cut out that kind of thing before. There was much trepidation on my part because it meant traveling on a road least traveled (no text book) in cutting the part out and then replacing it with a new one. However, he reassured me that he's done that kind of thing more than once (flying by the seat of his pants? ). Trustingly, I made an appointment the following week.All the familiar suspects, Carrie, Rudy, John, and Austin were at the shop bright and early. It was kind of like a welcoming party, even though I was still quite apprehensive about the operation that was about to commence. Carrie reassured me more than once that everything was going to be alright. Rudy assured me in technical terms as if he and John were of the same mind, for which I was so very grateful. John, smiling as he was eating a donut said, "I've got this" and showed me the new bolt to specs he had ordered. I was so pleased and impressed that he had been several steps ahead all along of how it was all comin' down.After a little while John comes into the waiting room and asks if I was ready to go home, and showed me a box of sawed off pieces of the old tensioner pulley. I was so amazed (and still am amazed) by the precise cuts John had to make to get that thing off without destroying anything else, and also retaining the integrity of the threads of the original bolt, indicating that the block to which the tensioner bolts back on was altogether sound.The mechanic followed through on the flushing of the power steering fluid, and then I was good to go!I cannot thank you guys enough for taking great care of my little old Ford Ranger!Thank you so much!

This was undoubtedly one of the best retail experiences I've had. Carrie and the team at this location are phenomenal! The customer service and genuine care for our vehicle and our experience at this location was a pleasure to see! You can get tires anywhere, but this is where you go if you want people who care!

I have been coming to NTB for years now. Even when their name was Tire kingdom. I've seen this company struggle and thrive, but what always remains the same is the high quality customer service that I continue to receive. Especially when they're experiencing high volume of service. All I have to say is Thank you and please keep on doing what you all do best and that's provide high quality service.

I enjoy the communication and the work they did with my car. I got an alignment and balancing of my tires. They also saw that I needed a new tire so o got 2 tires for the front. I really love their service and how engage they are with your automobile. I give them a 5 star!

Lacks basic knowledge of their trade in order to give correct information to the customer. The mechanic was so lazy that he didn t even come tell me in person that was won t work on my vehicle after assuring the customer service agent he gave her the correct information. I would recommend Mavis over these clowns .

This was my 1st time here at NTB and I am beyond impressed, the staff was friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. They were able to get me in without an appointment and take care of all my vehicles needs in a timely manner. Andria and Carrie were an absolute joy. 10 out of 10 Highly Recommend

5 star across the board. Customer service was incredible. I needed new tires for my Jeep and Preston was the man!! He walked me out to my Jeep and gave me his honest opinion. I bought 4 new Goodrich KO2s white lettering out and the jeep looks amazing. So happy with everything and I will for sure be using NTB again!!

Best customer service I ve had any where in a while. Absolutely loved Mr.John there. Had great conversations and explained everything about my car perfectly! No one else is touching my car but the best place to go in Beaufort County! Thank again!

Completed some front end suspension work on my truck and of course needed an alignment afterwards. This NTB shop was able to accommodate its size. The alignment went great and everything was in the green but the steering wheel was off some. I called later and John the manager went into detail of why this can occur with lifted 4x4 like mine but insisted I still bring it back in to check. A few days later he personally looked over it and had his mechanic go back over it. While I waited the staff I noticed were highly professional and personable to every customer and took time to talk with them while they waited. John would come to each table and talk to all his customers like he knew them for years. A very comfortable setting and experience. And when the staff were not helping customers they were constantly cleaning the lobby. It looked immaculate! The front, refreshment and waiting room and restroom all were spotless! Very professional! The technician was able to work with the alignment to get it as close to perfect as possible and did an outstanding job! This is the first review I ve ever submitted but felt that it needed to be. This establishment, John and his employees are TOP-NOTCH! Highly recommend to everyone!

John and his team at NTB have ALWAYS treated me with courtesy and respect. They have been my "go to" for ALL of my vehicle services for years. Keep up the great service!Went in for an oil change and rotation yesterday; picked up a nail and had to return today for the repair. I had my paperwork from when I purchased my tires over 2 years ago and the repair was covered. Word-to-the-wise... keep ALL your vehicle records IN your vehicle, especially if is shows warranty insurance, that way there can be no computer errors... you have the proof in-hand.

When we called to confirm our appointment they told us they could get us in earlier, we went in and they took care of us quickly and politely. The alignment hasn t been this good since we bought the car. Would have my car serviced here again.

Went to get an alignment done for my car. They did great the first time. That was 10/30/23. I still have my receipt. They offer a 3 month warranty for a free alignment and I made it in time to get one done within the 3 months the warranty stood. This was 11/12/23. They told me that my cars inner tie rods were bent. This was not true. They just didn t want to honor the free alignment warranty they offer. They also tried to get me to buy the inner and outer tie rods through them and have them replace it while pushing their credit card that they offer. If you re gonna lie to someone s face about their car, do a better job at it. Especially if you re doing business with someone that is knowledgeable about their own car. Went somewhere else instead. They said my rear lateral link is seized. I think the last tech that worked on my car at ntb had something to do with it. If that tech had issues I would ve liked to know. But nah. I just won t come back.

Bought a new set of tires from them about 4 months ago! Ended up getting a screw in tire somehow so I brought it in to get it patched! They got me right in and out pretty quickly! Great, fast service!

Took in new rims to get tires mounted and they took care of them like it was their own. No scuffs or scratches. Hard to come by a shop that cares about customers vehicles.

I went in and told them I needed rear brake pads and the rotors turned based on what my dealership told me. John put the car up on the jack and checked out the pads and rotors and said that they did not need replacing at this time. Always good to get a second opinion. How many times have you gone in for a car service repair and told them you needed something and they tell you it isn't necessary? Usually the opposite in my experience. John and his staff are very honest. Highly recommend!!

The Assistant Manager Andria was extremely helpful she found me a good deal on parts and was super nice. Definitely my go to for all my car needs. Very friendly staff and very good price. If I need to use them again I will. I highly recommend.P.S. Also John, Drink your water

I have taken multiple vehicles to this location and always feel as though the guys (and gals!) are looking out for me and being as helpful as they can. My most recent trip involved my washer fluid not coming out of the nozzle. I was a walk-in and expected to have to wait or make an appointment. I was told to pull around and pop the hood and they would take a look at it. My nozzle had broken and completely detached from the washer fluid line. Chris was very accommodating. He had no problem with me watching what he was doing and explained how to take the lining off of my hood, in case I ever needed to again. Everyone there is always very friendly, personable, and professional.
