I hired East Cooper Lock & Safe to replace all the knobs and deadbolts at my home, and install a new handleset in the front door. They scheduled the repair work quickly, were on time and efficient, and presented a great value for the cost of the work. Highly recommend.

Awesome customer service and very helpful! I needed a key/fob for daughter's car and they got it done for less than what I was quoted at other places. The girl working there was so helpful and nice! As a bonus they also had a hard to find privacy pin (locking mechanism) for one of my doors at my house. What a find! I highly recommend this family run business.

I lost the keys to access a couple of strong boxes and had the absolute pleasure of meeting Raney (apologize if I misspelled your name). She was very friendly and professional who within seconds resolved my issue. I definitely recommend stopping by to experience a family-owned business that is in business to help. An added bonus for me is the animal friendly environment having met Nora and Callie too. Thank you!

My wife called prior to me coming in and they said they could give me another key fob for my daughter s car, and it would take anywhere between five minutes and an hour. Once I got there, There were two individuals who went out of their way to give me every excuse in the world to not help. There was an older gentleman who is absolutely the rudest human being I ve ever met in my life. I finally said, are you going to be able to help me today or not, and he said I m trying to close in an hour so absolutely not. This guy was a real piece of work. I get it if he was busy, but being completely rude and over the top was just uncalled for. Don t tell your customers over the phone to come down and you ll take care of them and when they do completely blow them off. Avoid this place, like a plague!

Brought an off the shelf Subaru Forester key to program. It was done 15 minutes. Super courteous staff. Staff seem like a family. The key worked perfectly. I will be going there again with another car key to be programmed.

I needed a key with remote for my 2013 Subaru Impreza Sport. I called ahead to ask if they had the key & what the cost would be. I spoke with a couple of people & they were helpful and friendly. They quoted me a price of $146 to cut & program the new key. I d spoken with several mobile locksmith s and received quotes of anywhere from $195 to $240. I understand there s a convenience fee because they re coming to you but I was only 15 minutes from East Cooper Lock & Safe. I got there & they had me in and out in less than 15 minutes. They were super friendly and have a sweet dog named Nora there. It cost $146 as quoted. I highly recommend them & if I need keys or locks in the future I will definitely return.

My son locked his only key is his car when visiting me out in Honey Hill. It was a Sunday morning and a lot of companies wanted to charge a huge fee to come way out to us and on a Sunday morning. I called East Cooper Lock and Safe. They were so friendly and helpful. One of the technicians came right out and made new keys for the vehicle. Their price was so much more reasonable than some of the places my son had tried to call. We were so grateful for such a wonderful job.

Larry came out & installed our gun safe, rekeyed a couple of locks for out new home, installed a new coded lock, and was kind enough to go above & beyond and give our doors some extra love so they open without required a shoulder!! Wanted to get 3 keys duplicated for my boat. Started at ACE Hardware. They had 2 in stock. I said no thanks. Went to Lowes. Stuck my key in the self-service machine. It said $4. I said no thanks. Figured the keys cut manually would cost less, guy came over and I asked what is the price for a key? He looked at the designer keys hanging there and said $5.95. So I went back to the machine and stuck in key #2. It said we don't have that. So I left.Then I remembered East Cooper Lock & Safe - just a short ride up 17 North. They had all 3 keys and stock and had me on my way in 10 minutes. The price was less than both ACE and Lowes so I left them a tip. Next time I'll have to remember where to go first!

Larry and his staff at East Cooper Lock and Safe are not only friendly and courteous, but always there when you need them. They have come to mine and my families rescue more than once. And always at such a reasonable rate! So reasonable, I try to pay more, but he never will let me! Highly highly recommend!!!

We were locked out of our house after our daughter accidentally pushed the vacation switch on the garage door when she left. Our landlord doesn't have any other keys to the house other than the front door handle so we have to rely fully on the garage. Chuck came out very quickly on a Sunday afternoon and was super nice!
