I am a parent of a student at USC Aiken. My daughter was complaining that her car was making a crazy noise back in the fall and we were unable to get to her to get it looked at until last week. Everyone at motion automotive was extremely friendly, and I felt that they gave us a fair price, and the car is up and running in less than a week. It feels really good to know that I can be hours away and I can call motion automotive, which is right across the street from the college to take care of any of my needs for my daughters car. Thank you for everything!!! Highly Recommended! The owner is amazing! It felt great as a mom that she put my daughter s safety at the top of her list! The shop did a thorough inspection and took care of us promptly!

The reviews here has got to be a joke. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!I mI trusted this place being that it was an AAA affiliate. Please folks, don t be lured in by that..Henry called me after the diagnostics was run on my car (3 business days after they had my car, not including Saturday and Sunday since they aren t opened) and was told that there was an engine misfire which caused damage to my car s catalytic converter and once that was fixed, my car may have needed some extra work done but he wouldn t be able to tell until that was fixed. Henry seemed so sincere and caring about my car but once I was quoted anywhere from $2500-4500 for this fix, I knew that I should have gotten a second opinion. I understand that the catalytic converter may be an expensive part but the one needed for my car was just shy of $1000 which means that if this were the case, he d be wanting to charge over $1000 in labor alone, which seemed like a bunch of bologna to me. Nevertheless, I did a little research and then I called the shop back and told the receptionist that I d be having my car sent to another place to be worked on. She places me on hold (most likely to speak to Henry) and comes back to tell me that they are charging me a $200 diagnostic fee which is absurd. Once I heard that, I did try to fight that cost a little since most diagnostics (unless you re taking it directly to your car s dealership) is no more than $80. Oh and they wouldn t even go down on that price.I went ahead and paid it and paid to have my car towed elsewhere within a few hours (if it would ve stayed overnight, they would have charged me for that too)When my car was looked at from this other place, he realized that the oxygen sensor had been removed and not replaced.. GUESS WHAT??! Henry admitted that his technician there removed it and placed it next to the engine which means that the oxygen sensor could ve been lost between there and the next place after being towed. I m furious at this point and told Henry that he and his crew should be held reliable for the replacement of the oxygen sensor. He told me that they would not have been liable and played victim when I told him that he d hear from me again. HERE I AM HENRY!!! I hope that people will actually read this and reconsider coming to your shop for their car repairs.To finish this off, I had found a very trustworthy person to fix my car and ended up paying no more than $400 to get my car fixed. There wasn t anything wrong with my car s catalytic converter and they did an awesome job. My car has been running so smooth ever since I ve gone to pick it up from this other place. If you need a good, reliable and trustworthy auto tech, I would highly recommend Slack s Automotive. It is in Irmo but definitely worth the trip if you re from Aiken.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Cant say enough about these folks, the gal at the front desk is awesome and the mechanics are superb. My starter went out as i was heading back to texas for a work related trip. I finally got my pickup towed in there around 2:30 and they found out i was traveling. Well, by 5 that afternoon, they had my pickup all ready and the price was better then i was expecting !! Cant say enough good about these guys and gals. I travel for work, so repair shops across the country are nothing new to me, but this place stood out above all the others. Motion Automotive Installed some brand new injectors and glow plugs in my 1999 F250. These guys are top notch mechanics and I highly recommend them. Best in the business.

Pretty good shop. Transmission went out in my Tahoe and they scoured their local salvage yards/dealerships to find the cheapest transmission for me. After finding the cheapest, they were able to throw a discount on there too. Handled all the paperwork for me as well. Had my car back as soon as they could get it to me.

Henry is the best!!! He came to our rescue after hours on a Monday evening and got us back on the road so we could get home to Richmond, VA to take care of our horses. We weren't even one of his regular customers as we just in town for a few hours. He personally checked on the problem, got us a small part replacement and put us back together. A very trustworthy and caring shop.

The owner, Mr Henry, is extremely professional and helpful individual. Along with his Assistant Scooter I was able to accomplish all my needs. Excellent towing company and staff. I highly recommend their service's.

Henry always takes fantastic care of all three of our trucks!! No matter what the problem is and how inconvenient the timing is, the guys always take care of us and back their work 110%. I have story after story of times we needed Henry to take care of something and he came through for us each time. We live 45-mins from the shop and we purposely pass all other shops along the way to bring our trucks to the BEST! No one touches our trucks but Motion Automotive. On top of the great care to our trucks, they always greet us with a smile even if it's at 9 PM on Saturday night while picking our truck up with the rollback in a cold rain!! We always feel like his favorite customer and I hope he knows they are our favorite mechanic shop! We hate having to bring the trucks in but we always love seeing/laughing with everyone at Motion Automotive while we're there. Love you guys/gals!!!!

The people here really know what they are doing. If you want the cheapest place around, keep looking but if you want quality work done by professionals this is the place for you. They perform actual diagnostics to be sure of what's wrong , not just change a bunch of parts. You get what you pay for, and these guys are worth every dime.

I actually came here by accident. During a road trip my battery light came on and I stopped at the closest auto shop.The best customer service experience ever. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. a combination for a pleasant experience!

Most mechanics in the CSRA only charge for diagnostics if you don't get the work done by them. Not these guys. Also, I was told directly by their office person, that there is always a weeks wait for services! Our experience was a week and a half to change a water pump! Then charged extra because I paid over the phone

This shop was not very thorough in its diagnostic results and fixed something other than the true problem. Yet charged an exorbitant fee.
