Thank you so much to the tow truck driver who towed our truck all the way from Warwick RI to Stoughton MA tonight and gave us a ride home! The driver arrived promptly, loaded the truck quickly and drove us home safely!To all the people who are leaving negative reviews, APPRECIATE the people who work day in and day out, lose sleep and miss time with their family so that they can get people and their vehicles home safely! These guys go days without sleeping just so they can be there when someone breaks down or gets into an accident etc.

The staff were very friendly and polite. They were available to take a car repair inquiry on Sunday, and it was repaired on Monday. All that and at a great price. Good old-fashioned service, you can't beat it. If you're looking for a reliable mechanic, this is a great place for you.

Called AAA and it said about 60 min. Joe arrived in less than 30. Excellent customer service and great job getting the truck on the flatbed. We appreciated his banter and advice. Keep up the great work Joe!!

I got a flat tire on the highway on-ramp on a rainy Monday I called AAA and decided I d take my chances riding with the driver to the tire shop. As a relatively small woman I am always somewhat on alert in situations like this, and even told my boyfriend I d call him to pick me up if I got any weird feelings.Thankfully, Jean arrived to pick me up and immediately put me at ease, got me situated in his truck and my vehicle hooked up quickly. The 30 minute ride to the tire shop was honestly so nice, and one of the most enjoyable conversations I ve had in a long time! Jean is such a warm, kind man and he kept me entertained with stories about his late wife, daughters and grand kids the whole ride.I only wished I had some cash to tip him for coming out to rescue me on his day off! I left him my business card and told him any time he needs a haircut, it s on me. Thank you Jean for turning a potentially terrible morning into a really lovely experience! <3Service: Car towing

I called to make an appointment to get my car inspected, was told it would be done the same day but was never done. I go there in the morning and the car still isn t inspected, so I brought it right down the street at Narragansett Auto Shop and they got it done within 15 minutes of me showing up there. If your looking to get your car inspected I d stay far away from this place unless you re okay with being without a vehicle for a week because the shop owners are worried about making money on their other jobs. If I would have known how long it was gonna take trust and believe I would not be taking my car there. If you re looking for an inspection I recommend Narragansett Auto shop, they got me in and out within 15 minutes of me getting there. Never again. Shop owner is just money hungry, don t tell me your gonna get it done the same day and then don t do it at all while you fix all of the $1,000+ jobs to make money. Money over everything here and it s apparent. I called back multiple times throughout the day to check on its status and they told me they still haven t got to it. I then called right before they closed at 6:30 with again no response.

I have a 2005 Ford ranger the rear end went bad George overhauled it, it still had a noise in it but he stuck with it until it was right, I highly recommend them to make sure everything is right before it leaves his garage, thank you George

After I forgot to make an inspection appointment, I frantically called around and they said no problem. Bring it in. Wonderful people I believe this is the 2nd or 3rd inspection. Thank you!

Never again will I use this company. I called AAA because I was locked out of my car. I was expecting AAA to come out but it was a guy named Jean that was subcontracted though AAA. He was quick to come but he was down right rude and nasty from the minute he got out of the truck. He immediately told my husband and I that he didn't wasn't standing out in the rain to help is unlock our car and that it wasn't his fault our key didn't work and to get a proper key made. He tired once to unlock our door and then told us he was leaving and to call someone else. My husband had a tool in the door that he was using to try and pry the door open and the guy took it and threw it. I can't believe how disgusting he was and very very unprofessional. I paid alot for my membership and to be treated the way I was is completely unacceptable and he needs to be held responsible for his actions. I wouldn't even give them one starService: Car lockouts

Brian M- you are one of the best ones.I called AAA around 5 pm, and Brian was dispatched to me to tow my car which had locked wheels, and the key accidentally on vacation with the other driver. Brian originally did not have the right tow truck/parts to move the car under these conditions, but did talk to AAA dispatch to try to help us get what we needed for a quick assist.After a 3 hours ordeal dealing with AAA, dispatch, and the AAA RI supervisor telling me that no one could help, we reached back out to Brian; He did not let us down. He communicated with AAA & came back with what was needed to get us out of the cold.Brain is very kind & helpful, much more helpful than AAA was at any point today. Thank you Brian. I cannot recommend Stop and Gas services enough after tonight.

Needed to get towed and this company is contracted through AAA. Driver canceled order not once but twice at no fault but his own. He did not show up to the right location that was on the order and the driver refused to go to the correct address. AAA is not happy and is now doing an investigation. I as well will be contacting the better business bureau due to this and the fact that I've been waiting for this tow for over 3 hours with having a newborn. Now I know what kind of people this company is and I will never do business with them.Service: Car towing

SUV needed a lot of repairs so my neighbor recommended George and I m glad she did! He took the car in the next day and repaired the major ones for half the price Pep Boys wanted to charge me. George is a hard working class act. Extremely knowledgeable with any automotive repairs. Truly a jack of all trades he can even get your vehicle towed to his repair facility if need be. Is an honest guy with integrity who provides A1 affordable auto repair.

Taking off a wheel, telling the customer they bought the wrong version brake pad, putting the wheel back and then returned with the correct model after I was sold the incorrect brakes (as I needed to exchange them at the auto parts store) = $10 increase in service price???Car they worked on stayed on site and didn t move- I came to swap the breaks in my Benz.This happened today, Saturday June 25th @ maybe 12:30pm. Naturally, I asked up front then went from $75 to $85 JACOB said because we had to take the wheel off when I asked why it went up.

George is an amazing mechanic and I have never had to bring a vehicle back to them. He is fair and honest in his pricing and much cheaper than most other mechanics I've been to. His work ethic in this day and age is awesome. Do yourself a favor and take your vehicles to him. If I could give him more than a five star review I would.

I cannot thank this company enough for what they did for me during an extremely difficult time. We got the news yesterday of the death of a close friend. While on the road to take some time and see family we got a flat on I-95. We were stranded. I called around no shops would take us, because of the time of day. Statefarm set up a tow, and I am so glad that they contacted Stop & Gas. There was a lot of confusion as to where we were, but they finally found us and towed the car ALL THE WAY out to Massachusetts from Rhode Island. I almost cried from the relief of getting some help. The driver was extremely nice! I wish I had gotten his name, because he was amazing. So kind. So nice. So helpful. Thank you Stop & Gas! I will tell everyone about you! 5 stars from me!!!!

Reported that someone stole our car keys and we could not get in it and needed it towed. They made it seem it was no problem, and when they arrived the guy said he couldn t tow it with no keys and had to call his manager the driver was extremely rude to us.. he informed us his manager said he couldn t tow us and left us with the vehicle unlocked with no keys. don t recommend them at all!!!!

Towed a blue government vehicle when explicitly told the vehicle was white with Virginia plates! Literally go anywhere else for a tow. The VA didn't guide you to a government vehicle they did not want towed. They called and asked if we had a blue government vehicle and we said no its the white van with Virginia plates. This could not have gone more wrong.

Deserve a review.Great service station and consistently cheaper fuel prices than competitors in a 10 mile radius. We use them regular for oil changes and service work (just had some done). Would recommend to anyone looking for any work done at a fair price.

George starts off as the friendly mechanic who just wants to save you money resulting in trying the cheap fix and then spending more to fix again. After george gains some trust and you get comfortable with him his repair quotes were 2X the amount the cost of other certified mechanics with shops, He quoted me exactly double on a job and a female friend of mine spent at least $1000 more than she should have there. Don't stop, just hit the gas!

Honestly, this guy is a crook. Has 0 problem lying right to customers faces. I'm not going to get into full details but I wouldn't piss on this establishment if it were on fire in fact I might throw gas after the way I was treated the past two times dealing with the owner. Once in person, second on the phone. STAY AWAYWhat he's not telling you in his reply my truck had already passed emissions two weeks ago and instead of telling me it would fail for the airbag light after sitting in my truck for about 5 mins before pulling it in. He knowingly still puts it on the machine and fails it. So I asked him why would you do that if you knew it would fail. He had a bs answer. But then says if you get the airbag light off you get a sticker. Well the airbag went off ITSELF. And the motor was scanned because of a replaced relay. He never said don't scan it again. He said if airbag light is off you're good. He lied. Plain and simple.

Need my cat converter fixxed, your car will break down again, no refund.. just cheap parts. Please don't be friendly, I went to him several times, just another quick fix and another highway breakdown. George is the best machanic in Rhode Island!He does an excellent job work on cars andHe will work with you if you have a hard time pay up front.I highly recommend everybody to take their car to Stop and Gas for services

My starter went on my SUV. I had it towed there and they took it right in, fixed the problem right away for me. It was quick, and very reasonably priced!I would highly recommend them to people.

Went there for inspection. Got oil change and it didn t take too long. The guy at the register was very courteous and respectful. Would go there again whenever I need to. Very happy with service.
