I was dealing with a serious electrical issue for over a year and it seemed like an impossible fix. A friend recommended Shane and I have no regrets. He fixed the problem in no time! I never felt like I was being lied to or scammed at all and bc of that he gained another customer!!

Shane and his family are friendly, knowledgeable and attentive to their customers experience and vehicle needs.I use my vehicle for my business, so having my truck off the road for the day was stressful. Although, thanks to Shanes team, I knew exactly what to expect. It was clear that my vehicle was in good hands and safe from the moment I dropped my key in the "Overnight Key Drop Box". I knew my truck would be safe in the lot overnight, the keys were safe, and there were clear instructions on where to park and details on what to expect from their services. I received a text notification when my vehicle was ready for pickup and they provided a detailed report on the solutions they provided and future recommendations without any pushy sales tactics. Shane and his family take pride in the work that they do.Shane's Auto has the quality of life benefits that I am accustomed to expect when going to the Ford dealers service department without the price gouging. They are honest about the work that needs to be done and the work that can wait...I really appreciated that. They understood my urgency to get my vehicle back on the road.***BONUS FACT*** Shane is a talented signer. A few months ago I decided to send my vehicles to Shane because a friend highly recommended him. I was not disappointed. He is very good and thorough and took the time to show and explain to me exactly what parts were worn , how they were supposed to work and what exactly needed to be replaced. I have never had a mechanic do this for me in the past. My Chevy equinox needed some TLC and Shane and his team we're very helpful and informative about what needed to be done. I had an oil change at my usual mechanic and soon afterward I experienced a situation where the oil was not getting to the top of the engine. I brought the vehicle back to the original mechanic he recommended I take it to another mechanic who said I may need to replace the engine. I then took it to a Toyota dealer who also said I should look for a new engine. A friend recommended I take the 2011 Toyota 4Runner to Shane s Auto Truck within a few hours of having the vehicle Shane was able to determine the problem was the oil filter that was used it was defective. I have nothing but good things to say about Shane s Auto, Truck, and Performance. Shane is an excellent mechanic, professional, and a problem solver. I have recommended them to all my friends and will continue to use them for vehicle service. If not for Shane I would have been out thousand s of $.Service: Engine repair

Anytime that I need anything done to my car, whether it be an oil change or something major, Shane is my go to! He is so reliable, honest, and amazing at what he does. His staffing is awesome, Jessica is always a pleasure to talk to, and his efficiency with getting my vehicle back in record time is wonderful, especially when you have a tight schedule! I have recommended his shop to several, and will continue to utilize his services! i would not even consider going anywhere else!

Shane and his staff are the most professional, courteous, knowledgeable and trustworthy as they come. Very accommodating. You can bet the work being done to your car will be thorough and at a high level of service. My favorite part is a kind of show and tell where he explains what was done to your car. I was in recently to have my breaks done. They fit me in their busy schedule. My car was done and ready that same day I dropped it off. Awesome. When I went to pick up my car, he showed me what my breaks looked like! They were really bad!

Shane's auto and truck service is a top of the line service center. They are very customer friendly, knowledgeable and fair. Shane's technicians perform excellent service. I highly recommend their service. Rating AAAAA+++++

Shane is an absolute expert at what he does and has experience and a depth of knowledge that truly stand out. I had several major problems with my 2004 F-150 that were due to multiple design flaws with the Tritan 5.4 V8. The Ford dealership itself refused to work on their own product! Well, there were many problems that revealed themselves a little at a time over about a year, but I'll try to explain the biggest of the problems without boring you with too many details. Shane understood the problem and why Ford wouldn't touch it, explained it to me and my options. I went with one of his recommendations, installing a kit that safely disabled and bypassed the flawed variable valve timing system completely, reverting the truck to a more simple, old school way of operating. It was a big job and wasn't cheap, but Shane worked with me and gave me a break on some of the labor to make it all work and now my truck runs better than it has since it was new. He saved my truck and since all the trouble areas have been taken care of at this point and engine operation simplified, it's likely to have many good years left, as if it's reborn. Shane is honest, extremely knowledgeable, doesn't cut corners, goes out of his way to provide outstanding service, and provides tremendous value for the money. I'd say, based on my experience, Shane's is exactly what everyone wants when it comes to truck and auto repair and then a lot more.

I got a recommendation from flood ford to call Shane and thought I d check it out and see if he could help so I made a appointment and he did what I needed quick and easy. I m so glad I was told about this place, Shane is very flexible with his hours and his prices are pretty good. I d continue to come here for business.

Not only does Shane and his staff work hard to perform excellent workmanship and Customer Care, they also spend the time to properly diagnose the problem and fix it correctly. The basics are still the basics, but as vehicles become more electronically controlled, you need a shop with the right tools, equipment and knowledge to properly diagnose the issues. Shane and his staff have the equipment and the knowledge. I strongly recommend their shop, even over some Automobile Dealerships. Shane has my business moving forward.

Best in the business! I took my 2011 Ford Ranger there for some routine maintenance plus some repairs needed on the suspension. Shane and the crew had the truck finished in one day and the cost was better than I expected. A straightforward and honest business and I will definitely take my truck there again

Most honest mechanic you can find. Wouldn't trust any of my vehicles anywhere else. Had one shop butcher one of our cars and wanted to charge an astronomical price to fix it. Took it to Shane's he did it for substantially less and fixed it right the first time around.

Best mechanic in RI, hands down. Shane and crew is way beyond professional. Down to earth, professional, respectful, highest quality work of any other shop I have dealt with.I won't trust my Toyota's to any one but Shane. Not even the dealership.Every other mechanic in the area could learn alot from Shaneand the crew. Done right the first time, every time, on time. And at prices you can't beat anywhere else.Proud to call him my mechanic

Knowledgeable Ford Truck MechanicMy Truck had a blinking Overdrive light and was stuck in "limp home" mode. I was worried I would need a transmission job and since its a 2001 F150 I started looking at newer trucks as I wasn't going to put a transmission into it. Shane diagnosed the electrical problem and repaired it for $200. He called me personally to explain what had happened and saved me money on the repair with an option instead of ordering a brand new harness and bracket. He even test drove the truck overnight to make sure the problem was resolved. I could not be happier with the experience and outcome! I highly recommend this shop!

His Moto is dealership alternative but it shouldn t be compared to a dealership by any means. The stigma around mechanics that we re crooks might apply to about 90% of many mechanics and dealerships but not Shane s. Shane s should be everyone s go to shop. He has always put customers first, no matter what. I ve never been more confident in a shop in my life. Shane and his techs go above and beyond for helping a customer and doesn t charge an arm and a leg for it. Shane and his techs are not part swappers, between Shane and the lead tech, the diagnostic capabilities they possess is unmatched. They have everything anyone would need to tackle any car issue. Shane is the guy to go to and should be the reason that not all technicians are bad.

Shane waa highly professional and conscientious in checking out a glitch with my horn. He worked diligently in diagnosing the problem, and would not accept any payment because he felt he technically hadn't done any actual repair work, even though many other facilities charge a diagnostic fee.

I had a cracked radiator i needed replaced and it was not an easy task at all. Very labor intensive. But Shane and his guys got it done without a problem.
